Grilled catfish, collards and fries with garlic bread

Regina went above and beyond today. When I called in my pickup order for a half smoked chicken salad she informed me that, because the price of a case of tomatoes had increased by $20, they were no longer putting tomatoes on the salads. I was not angry but did cancel order because I didn't want it without the tomatoes. Before I had a chance to think of something else and put in an order she called me back saying that they did have some and would put them on. I am happy but hope they don't have to omit them on future orders. I do understand, groceries are sooooo expensive now, but tomatoes on my salad are important to me.

Small shop in a strip plaza near a Walmart. Fresh BBQ, good sides, all pretty decent. Not upscale or trendy, clean, well lit, metal chairs, and nice wall art inside. Server was attentive and nice. Nothing pretentious here. This trip sliced pork was tasty, collards were ample but made without a smoked meat as an ingredient. Pricing was typical not cheap but not a ripoff either. On a scale of 10 I would rate a 7.

SERVICE: 3 FOOD QUALITY: 3 DRINK QUALITY: N/A ORDER TIME: 5 AESTHETICS: 3 NOISE LEVEL: 5 MENU SELECTION: 3 OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 3.67 A little ol' BBQ restaurant I decided to try after shopping for art next door. It's not highly advertised anywhere, and you would only know about it if you shop in the area or go to the gym near by. When I first walked in it felt like they were closed but it only took the employee a few seconds to walk out and inform me that I could sit anywhere. The menu is relatively small and straight forward. The decor is simple and going for that roadhouse feel with neon and classic wood tables. For lunch I had the sliced beef with fries, green beans and Texas toast. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't anything amazing. The fries and green beans felt like something you might get at a cafeteria and the meat was so finely sliced that it was a little dry. The Texas toast was delicious, and was cooked to perfection. The experience was pretty neutral, and nothing I would recommend driving out of your way for. I will say that the pricing is fantastic and you will get a great deal on their lunch specials. One of the better options financially in the area if you don't want fast food.

Got an order last Wednesday for a Thanksgiving meal the following day. Generally the order was OK quality, but it has slipped over the years. Specifically, the one pound of pulled pork had half burnt ends. I filled out the form on their website to call me, no response. I reached out in Facebook messenger with contact details, no response. I did call the restaurant and the manager added my name to a list for take care of me for my next order. Interestingly, when I got there I did have to wait 10-15 mins past pickup time. I believe either the manager or a senior person packed the order, so I would had a belief I was in the clear. I've had random issues before, so I'd recommend double checking your order ahead of time. I understand during the holidays, there can be limited staff or isssues. That said, I tend to support businesses where owners follow up on them. If you have a form on your website that you aren't going to check, just post an email address instead.

Always good food and service. They've been here for years and are always consistently good with very reasonable prices. Food comes out fast and fresh.

Yummy barbecue sandwich special on Wednesdays. Great food, good service. Swamp thing vibes.

Rolls, Pulled BBQ Pork & Chicken, Beef Brisket (8.13.22)

8.13.22 My niece had a college graduation party and we had pulled pork and chicken and beef brisket. It came with fresh, warm buns and sauces on the side. My husband and I generally love beef brisket, but the pulled pork was definitely the winner. We couldn't stop talking about how amazing it was. Easily among the top 3 places I've ever had it. Highly recommend the pulled pork.

Their sliced Beef is amazing! I've rarely even seen sliced beef at any other BBQ restaurant. It's sliced so thin and you can just pick it up and eat it like is 50 buck a pound prosciutto. Slather it in one of 3 BBQ sauces or just eat it up plain. It's the reason to go to Kellers, IMHFO. Since I'm trying to eat less meat, and more specifically, less red meat, I decided to try the turkey. And OMMFG, this turkey was so moist, so tender, and so delicious. I have never had turkey taste so good, and I've had Del Taco's Turkey Tacos (which are good too). Anyway, it came with two pieces of garlic bread so I just decided to make me a turkey sandwich. And you know the meat is good when you don't need to add a thing to enjoy a sandwich. In the past, I've had their ribs (my favorite in Orlando), brisket (good but I've had better), pulled pork, sliced pork, and probably something I've forgotten. Their meals come with 3 sides and it's more than enough to fill you up. I usually get a salad to balance out the meat-fest, but also some Mac-n-cheese or coleslaw or greens or something. Their sides are all good, but seriously, their meat is the reason to go. You know what's bonkers? On Mondays, they have all you can eat. They have a number of different options, but the cheapest one includes the sliced beef. Do yourself a favor and head to Kellers and try this stuff. When I need a meat fix, Kellers is at the top of my list.

Heidi took excellent care of us and actually bumped this review from a 4 star to a 5 star rating with her excellent customer service, great personality and attention to detail. From the minute we walked in until the time we left Heidi was on top of her game. It's been a hot minute since we've been to Keller's but we look forward to returning shortly. We ended up ordering off of the lunch special menu which comes with a nice assortment of 3 different sides to choose with your entrée and most all of the items are under $10. The salads came out quickly and the entrees followed in an appropriate time afterwards. They also have a nice choice of beers too if you're in the mood. This place has been in Altamonte Springs for a long time and now we remember why. Nice way to kick off the 4th of July weekend. Thanks Heidi!!!!

The steak frites are just as magnificent as my boyfriend and I remembered. Have you ever had a food memory? Years ago, my dad made the best steak I've ever had. He passed away when I was a kid, and two summers ago, when I took my first bite of the steak here, my mouth watered... but so did my eyes. It was one of the strangest, most beautiful experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. For a moment, it felt like Dad was sitting at the table with us. To taste something so familiar, something I hadn't experienced in over twenty years, was surreal. That's not a compliment I hand out lightly. So we each had that For this visit, we started with the rock shrimp tacos, and they absolutely did not disappoint. They packed a nice little kick without overwhelming the dish, and we practically inhaled them. Of course, we had to finish the meal the same way we did last time: with churros. Somehow they were even better than we remembered. Crispy, warm, perfectly sweet, exactly the kind of dessert that makes you argue over who gets the last bite. My boyfriend ordered two Old Fashioneds, and I had two Cosmos. Both were delicious and definitely generous on the pour. I was a little concerned when we arrived for our 8:00 p.m. reservation because the place was PACKED for a Thursday night. We ended up waiting a bit past our reservation time. The hostess suggested we grab a drink at the bar, but that area was just as crowded, so we hung out in the lobby instead. The wait ended up being completely worth it because we were seated at the exact table I was secretly hoping for: the most perfect little corner window booth, straight out of a movie scene. It was the ideal setting for our last night of vacation. And then there was our server, Anton. Anton could teach a master class on waiting tables. He was efficient, funny, attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what he was doing. In a world where great service sometimes feels like a lost art, Anton was an absolute delight. The Ravenous Pig delivered once again: phenomenal food, excellent cocktails, memorable service, and one of those meals you'll still be talking about long after you've gone home. We can't wait for our next trip to Orlando and our next visit back.

The snapper collar tacos were the star of the show. Easily enough to share between two people, with fresh fish and really good homemade corn tortillas. The fish of the day was also excellent and the fresh ciabatta with garlic butter was hard to stop eating. The cauliflower appetizer missed the mark a bit for me, the pieces were a little too big and came out slightly undercooked. The chicken salad was just alright, nothing bad but nothing memorable either. Parking can be a little tough in the area, but the complimentary valet makes it much easier. I love that they have a quicker option out back with the beer garden, you can't go wrong!

You order at the counter. Everyone we encountered was super friendly. We got help with the menu and some suggestions on options. I opted for the rib dog and side of mac and cheese. I also got a sweet tea. My husband got the brisket with fries and a (canned) Diet Coke. The rib dog was pretty impossible to pick up and eat, but was very tasty. The mac and cheese maybe top 3 I have ever had. The brisket my husband ordered was quite tasty, pretty smokey (not my fave, but he loved it). Meat was moist and tender. It was about $42 total before a tip for the two of us and we both had leftovers for another meal. This place is a little out of our way, but we would definitely stop in again if we were in the area.
