Small shop in a strip plaza near a Walmart. Fresh BBQ, good sides, all pretty decent. Not upscale or trendy, clean, well lit, metal chairs, and nice wall art inside. Server was attentive and nice. Nothing pretentious here. This trip sliced pork was tasty, collards were ample but made without a smoked meat as an ingredient. Pricing was typical not cheap but not a ripoff either. On a scale of 10 I would rate a 7.

SERVICE: 3 FOOD QUALITY: 3 DRINK QUALITY: N/A ORDER TIME: 5 AESTHETICS: 3 NOISE LEVEL: 5 MENU SELECTION: 3 OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 3.67 A little ol' BBQ restaurant I decided to try after shopping for art next door. It's not highly advertised anywhere, and you would only know about it if you shop in the area or go to the gym near by. When I first walked in it felt like they were closed but it only took the employee a few seconds to walk out and inform me that I could sit anywhere. The menu is relatively small and straight forward. The decor is simple and going for that roadhouse feel with neon and classic wood tables. For lunch I had the sliced beef with fries, green beans and Texas toast. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't anything amazing. The fries and green beans felt like something you might get at a cafeteria and the meat was so finely sliced that it was a little dry. The Texas toast was delicious, and was cooked to perfection. The experience was pretty neutral, and nothing I would recommend driving out of your way for. I will say that the pricing is fantastic and you will get a great deal on their lunch specials. One of the better options financially in the area if you don't want fast food.

Bar-B-Q Pork Dinner

Got an order last Wednesday for a Thanksgiving meal the following day. Generally the order was OK quality, but it has slipped over the years. Specifically, the one pound of pulled pork had half burnt ends. I filled out the form on their website to call me, no response. I reached out in Facebook messenger with contact details, no response. I did call the restaurant and the manager added my name to a list for take care of me for my next order. Interestingly, when I got there I did have to wait 10-15 mins past pickup time. I believe either the manager or a senior person packed the order, so I would had a belief I was in the clear. I've had random issues before, so I'd recommend double checking your order ahead of time. I understand during the holidays, there can be limited staff or isssues. That said, I tend to support businesses where owners follow up on them. If you have a form on your website that you aren't going to check, just post an email address instead.

Always good food and service. They've been here for years and are always consistently good with very reasonable prices. Food comes out fast and fresh.

Yummy barbecue sandwich special on Wednesdays. Great food, good service. Swamp thing vibes.

Rolls, Pulled BBQ Pork & Chicken, Beef Brisket (8.13.22)

8.13.22 My niece had a college graduation party and we had pulled pork and chicken and beef brisket. It came with fresh, warm buns and sauces on the side. My husband and I generally love beef brisket, but the pulled pork was definitely the winner. We couldn't stop talking about how amazing it was. Easily among the top 3 places I've ever had it. Highly recommend the pulled pork.

Their sliced Beef is amazing! I've rarely even seen sliced beef at any other BBQ restaurant. It's sliced so thin and you can just pick it up and eat it like is 50 buck a pound prosciutto. Slather it in one of 3 BBQ sauces or just eat it up plain. It's the reason to go to Kellers, IMHFO. Since I'm trying to eat less meat, and more specifically, less red meat, I decided to try the turkey. And OMMFG, this turkey was so moist, so tender, and so delicious. I have never had turkey taste so good, and I've had Del Taco's Turkey Tacos (which are good too). Anyway, it came with two pieces of garlic bread so I just decided to make me a turkey sandwich. And you know the meat is good when you don't need to add a thing to enjoy a sandwich. In the past, I've had their ribs (my favorite in Orlando), brisket (good but I've had better), pulled pork, sliced pork, and probably something I've forgotten. Their meals come with 3 sides and it's more than enough to fill you up. I usually get a salad to balance out the meat-fest, but also some Mac-n-cheese or coleslaw or greens or something. Their sides are all good, but seriously, their meat is the reason to go. You know what's bonkers? On Mondays, they have all you can eat. They have a number of different options, but the cheapest one includes the sliced beef. Do yourself a favor and head to Kellers and try this stuff. When I need a meat fix, Kellers is at the top of my list.

Heidi took excellent care of us and actually bumped this review from a 4 star to a 5 star rating with her excellent customer service, great personality and attention to detail. From the minute we walked in until the time we left Heidi was on top of her game. It's been a hot minute since we've been to Keller's but we look forward to returning shortly. We ended up ordering off of the lunch special menu which comes with a nice assortment of 3 different sides to choose with your entrée and most all of the items are under $10. The salads came out quickly and the entrees followed in an appropriate time afterwards. They also have a nice choice of beers too if you're in the mood. This place has been in Altamonte Springs for a long time and now we remember why. Nice way to kick off the 4th of July weekend. Thanks Heidi!!!!

Counter-service right when you walk in, and then there's a great, big dining room full of wooden bench-esque booths. Feels like of like an outdoor picnic area. It was nice. Cozy. Service was excellent. Believe it or not, we were served by Papa Diesel himself! I only knew that, because he was standing right in front of a life-sized cardboard cutout of himself. Very surreal. The food came out very promptly, and he went and got us a whole flight of sauces to try. The food itself was pretty good. We got The Diesel Sampler (1/4 lb of slow smoked brisket, ribs, pulled pork, sausage, and wings) and a few sides, the Smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese, the Brussel Sprouts with Bacon, and a Sweet Roll. Brisket was not good, sorry, ribs were nice, but needed sauce, pulled pork was good, but needed sauce, sausage was the best part, Huge chunks of melty cheddar cheese inside, and the wings had a nice little smoke to them. Pretty good stuff. The mac was very gouda-y. Needed some seasoning, though. The sprouts were excellent. Huge sprouts, but cooked all the way through, nice chunks of bacon added that much needed fat. Good work here. Overall, some pretty good BBQ. You won't be disappointed with your visit here. Just make sure to sauce adequately.

This time I went for a magical dining, so it was a slightly different experience. For my meal, I got the mushroom and Gruyere beignets the shrimp, scampi spaghetti, and the peaches and cream dessert. Everything I eat was delicious. My favorite would be the shrimp scampi, it even warmed up well the next day! And I was most intrigued by the peaches and cream dessert as I've never really seen anything like this, but it was delicious. I wish there was a little more guava in it and that it was a little easier to breakthrough the shell but other than that a great dessert. The mocktail called the grove and jam was also amazing and really good and inspire me to want to make mocktails at home!

I had some leftover and I ate the second half with rice the next day (sooooo good and very flavorful). Charcuterie was also pretty delectable. I'm not a big fan of sausage but the sausage ended up being my favorite item on it! As for the dessert, the peaches and cream was okay (not a big peach fan) but the banana cream dessert was beyond a freaking delight! I was obsessed. Would totally come back, had a great meal, great service (our server was awesome!) and a fantastic time overall.

You order at the counter. Everyone we encountered was super friendly. We got help with the menu and some suggestions on options. I opted for the rib dog and side of mac and cheese. I also got a sweet tea. My husband got the brisket with fries and a (canned) Diet Coke. The rib dog was pretty impossible to pick up and eat, but was very tasty. The mac and cheese maybe top 3 I have ever had. The brisket my husband ordered was quite tasty, pretty smokey (not my fave, but he loved it). Meat was moist and tender. It was about $42 total before a tip for the two of us and we both had leftovers for another meal. This place is a little out of our way, but we would definitely stop in again if we were in the area. If I was really craving good mac and cheese might even make a special trip (being honest - I love bbq places for the sides. Its shameful but true.)

I ordered the Muffuletta because I frequent New Orleans and was craving some of that local NOLA flavor close to home. Needless to say, I was STOKED for this sandwich! Unfortunately, what arrived was pretty disappointing. The sandwich looked thrown together and was missing one of the most important parts--CHEESE! There was also barely any olive tapenade. If you've had a traditional Muffuletta in New Orleans, you know this is supposed to be a big, stacked sandwich loaded with meats, cheese, and that delicious olive mixture. Maybe my expectations were a little high, but the sandwich I received initially just wasn't it. I called the restaurant, and I do want to give management credit. They were very apologetic and immediately offered to correct the issue. They remade my sandwich, and the second one was MUCH better--better presentation, properly prepared, and much closer to what I was expecting. My biggest frustration was that I had to drive to the restaurant to pick up the replacement, which defeated the purpose of ordering through DoorDash. Between the higher menu prices, delivery fees, and tipping your driver, you're paying a premium for the convenience of having your food brought to you. I wish the original order had been checked before it left the restaurant because, had I not called, that would have simply been the meal I received. That said, I appreciate how management handled the situation and that they were willing to make it right. I've also eaten at Tibby's in the past and remember really enjoying the Ritas Chicken years ago, so I'm not writing them off! I'd visit again, but next time I'll probably dine in rather than order delivery. And now I feel like I need to revisit that Ritas Chicken after nearly 10 years and see if it's still as good as I remember. I'll update my review when I do!
