We've been there yesterday for breakfast sitting in Laura's section. She is such a nice and friendly person and the food was a blast. We had a pancake combo and French toast and their motto really came true. They brought a smile to our plates and to our faces. We are big IHOP fans so we went to one in Florida while on vacation. That was a big mistake! We got a bossy waitress who was not very nice. She gave us the wrong side of pancakes, and they were burnt. The best she would do is 20% off the side. Not 20% off the total bill, just the overpriced side that we couldn't finish eating. Omelettes & pancakes for the win. One flaw my omelet was made incorrectly BUT not the kitchen error. Our server got confused with our order. Instead of clearing it up it had to be made twice. The staff was friendly and attentive, the place was super clean, and their Cheesy Chicken Ranch with their white cheese sauce, Jack & Cheddar was super tasty. Their enhancements of diced bacon and tomato blended in perfectly. Watch my food go cold Potatoes cold higher o price for smaller sandwich really there was like three pieces of bacon. The bread was like 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" white bread seriously so you raise the price and you decrease the food and it was mostly tomato and the tomato was not ripe, which is annoying so the sandwich was vomiting food because the bread was too small. IHOP really exceeded my expectations. We had set out with the intent to find something more local but ended up here at a national chain around 11 AM. It was crowded. We were told it would be about a 15 minute wait and we were seated in about 10. The menu is huge with a a page of options dedicated for folks 55 and over. Our party of 7 all had breakfast. we all know what kind of food you are going to get when you get to ihop. but the "manager" was so unprofessional to a customer sitting next to us. the customer complained her food was frozen still and she announced to the chef how the customer didn't like her food and it was frozen so the whole restaurant could hear her. very unprofessional yelling at someone on the phone stating they are trying to harvest her information then hanging up on them. Crazy busy during Spring Break! But the hostess stayed friendly despite the crowds and got our party of 4 in after only a few minutes. Laura was our waitress and she was a peach! After I got off work, it was still open, delicious food, everything was very good, just a little bit cold.

This is for the IHOP on South Atlantic Avenue, in Daytona Beach. While the service was outstanding, the food was only average, more due to IHOP as a chain probably than anything else. As noted above, the service could not have been better; after being seated (immediately). My waitress checked in on me, without being a pest, no less than six or seven times. But how can they claim to be an "international house of pancakes" when there are so few ways to order them? I was both surprised and disappointed (I could have come up with six ways all by myself - and I don't even cook!)! So I stuck to "normal" fare: eggs, sausage and hash browns, accompanied by two pancakes. It was "okay" but not great. Certainly not memorable! Of course, how badly can you screw up easy-over eggs and plain pancakes? I'm not a coffee drinker so I ordered apple juice. They did screw that up (IHOP?). Somebody read the mixing directions wrong or they were wrong from the corporate office. The juice had been watered down! Apple juice is already 90% water but this was 95%! Yes, I could tell it was "apple", but barely! Somebody, somewhere forgot to taste the final product, in spite of the generous serving! This is about the second time I've ever been to an IHOP (ever!) and I'm in no hurry to return, in spite of my awesome waitress! read more

I love going to this IHOP! The waitstaff are amazing, they all seem to like what they are doing too! I have not been in an IHOP since I was a kid! Just love the pancakes and the waffles! I spoke to a very nice happy woman who was working the front of the restaurant, I told her that I remembered more syrups on the tables, she smiled and told me I was right, She said they still had boysenberry syrup- but you have to ask for it!
