I've never had great service or great food at IHOP. I've only been to this IHOP location. But the last two visits (I'm usually with other people who love IHOP) have been great. The servers were both wonderful. Last night Axel was our server and he was delightful. To the point that we will probably request him if he is working next time we visit. The food was also wonderful. This IHOP is so unorganized. Very slow service. It's very confusing if you are to pay at the table or up at the front. When it's time to pay the waiter Is no where to be found. The food is okay. It's hit or miss here. I've been to better ones! read more

ripping people off by saying they don't have change, food took forever to come, said they didn't know how to use a gift card. boss wouldn't help waitresses at all when they needed assistance 2 young waitresses one new one been there a while. improperly trained staff. would give this zero stars if I could. read more

Wow i was amazed! To be honest the last time not so much. Called for a carry out, Sydney ??? Was my server. Called placed order it was correct and hot even hot by the time I got home. It was fresh and really good. Sydney was super nice and she carried great conversation with me while I waited for the order to complete. Service was great. Ordered the sampler breakfast since this was my first visit to IHOP. Had to salt and pepper due to lack of flavor. Thought pancakes would be better but just ok. I got amazing service from Dave on the night shift. He is always friendly and thinks ahead. I never have to ask for condiments or refills. He predicts what I will need based on what I order, then delivers the best service possible. I always ask for him if he is working! I met Shanda today and she was very kind and efficient. I'll start this off by saying if I could leave no stars I would! My significant other and I walked into this establishment at 9:40 and were informed that they are not providing dining until the night crew came in which was at 10 o'clock and the people that were already sitting at tables have been there since before their shift started. So my significant other and I decided to wait until 10 o'clock. We sat in the car for 20 minutes. Then we walked in around 9:57. No one came to seat us. Around 10:15 I called IHOP because there was a phone in the front so I figured at least then somebody would have to come to the front and hopefully we would be seated. They let the phone ring for about five minutes not answering. We still continued to wait and eventually gave up around 1030. And then, as we were leaving, the employees watched us through the windows and just laughed. It was a terrible experience and a complete waste of the night. My significant other and I have gone to IHOP multiple times and are normally not disappointed. However, after this experience, we are both very enraged by the laziness of the staff and childish behavior. read more

Food is hot. Usually fast service. Weekdays are slow. Great time to visit. Food was better than Bob's down the road. Staff seems a little busy doing side work when traffic is light and customers may be a bit ignored when looking for a refill.Prices are very cheap. read more

The server was lacking confidence, but was ok overall. They only had 1 cook that night and it took 45 minutes to get our food, which was undercooked and cold. Server apologize for the wait a couple of times, which was nice. I could hear the people around me getting agitated and rubber necking. There wasn't any presents of managers either.The tables weren't clean, salt and pepper shakers were grimy (so bad I wouldn't use them) and the syrup jars were stuck in the holders. Also, there were a table of young cute girls seated in the back and the male servers couldn't help themselves from flirting and being very attentive...must have been nice for them! read more

We came to this IHOP on a Monday night around 6:30pm. We were one of three tables at the restaurant and it took them over a half hour to get us our food. There were hard spots in my scrambled eggs and the pancakes were completely undercooked and mushy. The waitress kept apologizing every time she came to the table instead of just fixing the problems she was encountering. Very frustrating and we probably will not be returning. read more

On a mini-vacation this week. Enjoying some church at Lucas Oil Stadium. We went to this IHOP after service since it was open and we always get great food and service at the IHOP in Richmond IN. NOT SO HERE!! The waitress was less than enthused to serve us and rarely made an appearance in a restaurant that was nearly empty. It took nearly 45min to get out food and it was not prepared correctly and we were missing many of the toppings and condiments that are supposed to come with the food. The food itself was edible at best and when we pointed out that my wife's meal was made incorrectly the waitress said "well my manager made it so I don't know how it could be incorrect?" Needless to say, we won't be back and I hope others will avoid this IHOP at all costs!! read more

This IHOP regularly has some of the worst service of any restaurant I've been to. We've only lived in Brownsburg about a year and all three of our experiences at with this IHOP have been horrendous. We will never be back. Every time we have been given incomplete or incorrect orders AND charged incorrectly. ALL THREE TIMES. I understand that mistakes happen, but the staff's rudeness and unwillingness to correct or at least OFFER to remedy them is really just poor customer service. Save yourself some trouble and having to eat mediocre incorrect food and go elsewhere for breakfast in Brownsburg. read more

Terrible experience. Wait staff could not be bothered to bus tables, set coffee container on table with the outside very dirty. Did not check in very often. Took almost 2 hours because food was so slow in coming out. They said it was busy and only 6 tables had guest and there were 5 waiters. read more

Tried this IHOP a second time, but the results were no better. Terrible service, food tasted like it was out of a can, and they gave our bill to someone else. So, instead of ringing us up again, they gave us the other party's bill minus $3!!! Don't know if we paid more or less than we owed, but definitely won't be back. read more

I and another person had breakfast their and we both got sick from the food. The person that check us out at the register was acting very strange as well as the cook, she kept coming from the kitchen area and that was strange as well. Horrible food for the third time we went there, thought maybe they would be better today, but it was actually worse. Please do not go there and spend your hard earned money. Okay to just stop and grab a quick bite. Management seems a bit petty and wasteful though. Ordered a breakfast and requested a sub bacon for another item, received my meal without any bacon. When I pointed it out, the waitress was a nice and returned with the bacon, I was told her manager wanted the other item back. That is fine - I didn't want it, but it was an odd request. This only gets a star because I have to put something to be able to write this review. Granted, we went on Valentine's Day at 2 pm. We were greeted by a hostess that never even looked at us, she simply said "table for 2" while looking off in the distance and a gentleman appeared from nowhere to seat us (at an unwiped table!). About 8-10 minutes after hearing a few wait staff argue over who was going to take us, a waitress came out and explained that she had looked for a waiter for us but no one wanted a table so she would take care of it even though she had been there since 5 AM and just wanted to go home and go to bed. She proceeded to take our drink orders then apparently realized we'd had more than adequate time to make our selections and offered to take our food order. After telling my husband that soup wasn't offered, she had to go ask for prices on a la carte pancakes (really? At IHOP) but not before she climbed in the seat with him to look at his menu. After returning, she took my order and asked if we would like hot syrup with our pancakes and waffles. Refills were not offered, more like sighed at the inconvenience. So our food comes, and the only thing hit was the chicken that accompanied my waffles. Cold BLT, onion rings, waffle and pancakes. Warm syrup never came. A new waitress came and asked how everything was and by this point, this poor young lady got the brunt of our frustration. A couple of waitresses got into a verbal sparring match that could be heard throughout the open side of the diner. Sadly, no one cared. This was our first experience with our local IHOP and probably our last. It must be more of a vacation place to eat. This one needs the management team removed and replaced and the entire staff trained on customer service. read more

We've given this place 4 chances to redeem themselves (obviously we must be gluttons for punishment) and every single time it's been the same issues. The wait staff never seems to acknowledge that they have a table that may need drinks refilled or bother to bring silverware or ask if there's anything else needed since there was no salt shaker on the table and the ketchup bottle was empty, but by the time they finally came back, my food was already cold. Also, our orders have been messed up or missing parts of them just about every single time. Like I said, they're terrible about coming around to check on you and while we waited for our server to come back out and help us the last time we were there, he was too busy chatting it up and hanging out with rest of the staff in the kitchen. Which I knew because I could see him from where I was sitting and he wasn't busy with other tables because I think there was a total of only 6 tables in the entire restaurant with customers. Also, my silverware that was brought to me was dirty and when I opened the napkin it was wrapped in, there was a swastika drawn in the center of it. My family and I visited this morning for my son's 6th birthday. The hostess sat is near the kitchen where we could hear everything that was being said. The line cook was obnoxious, was eating food while preparing food and was cursing like a sailor. My food (biscuits and gravy) came out cold. The server asked how it was and I told him. He took it and said they would prepare a new one, but instead just heated up in the microwave. Needless to say we won't be visiting this IHOP anymore. read more
