5. Basil Fried Rice

This is great Thai place in Brownsburg. My friend and I met for lunch here on a Friday afternoon. There was no wait, which was great! Servers were attentive and friendly. Soup comes with lunch and a as a great way to start our meal. We both got lunch specials and they hit the spot. Great food, friendly service, plenty of parking...we will be back!

Great reviews led us to this little Thai restaurant in Brownsburg. The restaurant is in a nicely renovated former fast food structure. The inside is serene and upscale (for the most part) with a mix of booths and tables. Pong, our server, brought us soup and water as we sat down. He was attentive and kind. He checked on us regularly. The lunch menu offers many Thai favorites for $11.99. Meals include the entree, salad and spring roll, which is a great deal and the portions are generous. Food came out in 15 minutes, hot and fresh! I ordered Pad Pak Ruam with Tofu. My plate was artful and huge. Pad Pak Ruam is packed with vegetables in a tangy garlicky sauce that was beyond delicious. The salad dressing was sweet with Thai flavors. The small spring roll was crunchy and yummy. I loved this healthy plate and recommend. My husband had Chicken Pad Thai. His meal came with salad and spring, too. He loved the Pad Thai and ended up bringing half of it home. They have a bar and serve wine and beer. There is parking around the building. I recommend highly.

We walked in at 8:30PM on a Sunday. We were seated quickly, food came out so fast and we were leaving by 9 PM. This is our new favorite Thai in Brownsburg!

Massaman Curry

Eating lunch out for one person adds up too fast these post-COVID days. I don't do it often because it's too expensive, especially for what you get. But Thai Basil? I'll be going again for lunch. For $13 (including tax!), you get a choice of many Thai staples that come with soup, salad, and a spring roll. Because of the price, I expected the quality to be the worst. I was wrong! The Massaman curry I ordered was as good as my other favorite Thai places in Indy. Plus, the server was so friendly and we were greeted and seated right away. Clean, friendly, delicious, and fast. Excellent choice for lunch!

6. Thai Dumplings, 2. Crispy Spring Rolls, and Shrimp Salad Rolls.

Thai Basil is my regular spot for Thai food and the majority of the time I get it to go however this time, I went with some friends and dined in. It's a small restaurant and it's usually not busy, that was the case today, we were the only customers. We were greeted and sat down right away. The Thai Dumplings were really good, my friends had the Chicken Satay, Crispy Spring Rolls, and the Shrimp Salad Rolls which they all really liked. I decided to try something different and had the Pad Wun Sen with Tofu, the flavors were great but I didn't care for the big chunks of tomatoes. I also ordered the Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango to take home.

Combination rice

Got the combo rice. They give you a lot but the taste was underwhelming. I'll probably go again but will try something else.

My husband wanted Thai food tonight for dinner, so we headed to Brownsburg to Thai Basil. Easy to find with a private parking lot. Lunch is offered from 11:00 - 3:00 p.m. and dinner is from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. Note they are closed between 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. When we arrived, a patron was leaving and informed us they were only offering takeout. Their furnace had broken so there wasn't heat. They did have a couple of large space heaters where guests could be warm while waiting for their takeout. It was very considerate of them. We ordered the Thai Dumplings with ground pork and veggies wrapped in a wonton skin and steamed. I love these dumplings and should place 2 orders as my lunch or dinner. They are that flavorful and so tasty. My husband ordered the Pad Wun Sen, #27, hot, with chicken, stir-fried silver noodles, and mixed veggies (no mushrooms) in a tasty brown sauce He loves his Thai food, prepared hot, and tonight did not disappoint. He was very happy with dinner. I ordered my usual Pad Kee Mao, #26, medium heat, flat noodles, chicken, stir-fried egg, and mixed veggies (minus broccoli and add cabbage) in a Thai Basil sauce. I love the flat noodles and could order just a plate of flat noodles without meat or veggies. They are never overcooked and delicious. The chicken was tender and bite- size, plus the veggies were crisp-tender. It's always my favorite Thai meal. The restaurant was chilly without heat, but as always, the server was polite and friendly, plus made a point to make sure the heater was close to me. Our order arrived quickly, and we were on our way within minutes. Even under unwanted conditions, they remained open, professional, and apologetic. We are always very happy dining at Thai Basil.

Food was good and service was good. My wife prefers Thai District but I like them both with just a little leanings towards Thai district-

From the ceiling, to the bar, to the plants, everything had a Valentine's Day theme and it was so fun. Our rice was even shaped into a heart! There is a big, shared parking lot behind the strip of businesses with plenty of parking and we walked in through the back. We were seated immediately by the hostess and had some tasty miso soup brought out along with waters. Two of us also ordered Prosecco and we could hear them opening the bottle up at the bar, so it was fresh and bubbly. They also allowed one of my friends to substitute silver noodles (her fave) into 3 of the different lunch special options for a slight up charge. I ordered the mussaman curry with chicken and it was perfect on such a cold afternoon. The only downside to our lunch was that I asked for medium-hot and didn't taste any spice. The silver noodle dish my friend ordered was really good, but a lot of food, so we ended up getting to-go boxes for the rest of our lunch and they were just as good for lunch the next day. Our other friend ordered the cashew nut and ate most of that, minus some rice, which she put in my to-go box for my lunch the next day. The lunch special is such a good deal- it comes with soup, salad, spring roll, and your choice of entree for one affordable price. I can't wait to come back and try something new!

The menu is also very vast and features many different types of food. On this particular day, the service was really really fast and everyone here was very nice. All of the food was really good and I highly recommend this place if you're looking for some Thai options in Hendricks County!

I don't think they serve alcohol. I was pleased to see a kids menu, which included four chicken dishes. Our server, Sukanya, was friendly and attentive. She told us to sit wherever we wanted and brought us bottles of water. The food took about 15 minutes to prepare. The Pad Thai was perfectly seasoned with a slight (mild) heat. The chicken was moist and delicious. The spring roll was crispy and tasty with a wonderful sweet sauce. There was an up-charge for credit cards use. We found plenty of parking in their small private lot. A single unisex restroom is available to customers. Tin's is a little off the beaten path in Clermont, but worth the visit.

So nice to see this in Clermont in our backyard. The food was so delicious. Our entrees came with a chicken noodle soup. It was so soothing. The drunken noodles had a different flavor from what I'm used to but I really enjoyed it. I will def be getting it again. I also added mushrooms and so glad I did. Their beef was tender and not chewy like some Asian styles are. The dishes were spicy. I got hot which was perfect. The place is very small only seating for about 12-16 max. The crab Rangoon was really good as well.
