Stumbled upon this IHOP while in town with my father while he is receiving cancer treatments. He was hungry for IHOP and this was the closest to our hotel. Didn't read previous reviews until waiting for our food, and honestly feel most are pretty unfair ‍ We arrived and the server was helping another table so one of the cooks let us know someone would be with us shortly. The server came and seated us shortly after, getting our drink order and letting us know about Hoppy Hour specials right away. Our order was taken and food arrived, looking fabulous, quickly. While eating we started hearing the two cooks in the kitchen talking, joking, and frankly just having fun in the kitchen. Louder than I am use to yes, but nothing inappropriate, rude, or offensive, just lively laughter as they started sharing some favorite songs back and forth. Yes, again, we could easily hear the songs they were sharing but again nothing overbearing. More of the feeling you were at a friends house and they were cooking dinner for you. The food was AMAZING!! My dad, who hasn't had an appetite and often complains food either has a funny after taste or no taste ate 3/4 of his order! I had an omelet that was phenomenal! Our experience was definitely different than I have had at other restaurants, but not bad and frankly once I got past it being something different was enjoyable. I dined alone, hungry for pancakes. I ordered the Breakfast Sampler, which included every breakfast meat offered (turkey bacon as an option) 2 eggs cooked to your preference, hash browns and 2 pancakes for $14 + tax. I was offered specialty syrup, but I preferred the maple syrup that was already placed with the table settings. There is also Complimentary wifi. In the moment I had wished I brought my laptop to get work done because if was surprisingly quiet for how many guest were dining in. The customer service was fine. The waitstaff that served me were attentive and did a good job for how busy they were. My breakfast was nothing short of edible and visually unappealing. I've only been to IHOP maybe three times in my life. I'm not a huge breakfast person (yes, I know they have other stuff on menu). I absolutely love the Addams Family & seen that they have an inspired menu (not a huge one maybe 4-5 items). I ordered Wednesday's Web cakes (pancakes, icing, chocolate & frosting) w/ chicken tenders on the side. Actually a pancake & chicken combo. The pancakes were sweet but good. Did not need to add syrup or anything. Although I didn't use it, l like that they offer about 5 different syrup flavors. Looking over there menu they had a ton of different pancake options that I would go back and try. We went on a Friday night & it wasn't busy at all. There were 2 younger waitstaff working the restaurant & I felt like they were really nice & attentive. Overall I liked my meal & the service I was provided. Prices were decent! It's predictable IHOP food. Good portion sizes at a fair price. The waitstaff and cooks really seem to try hard. Unfortunately it's very quiet in here every time I go, so slow that I'm concerned it may not continue to operate. If you want to keep a good breakfast and lunch place going, give it a try. Don't waste your time coming here, the staff is too worried about getting back to their personal conversations rather than attend the guests, we arrived at a time that had literally 2 tables and we were the third. None of our food came out cooked properly, and food was missing, they brought the food out again and it was wrong again, at this point I was ready to go, we asked for a refill on the lemonade and they refused at first even though we were told soda and lemonade is the only thing with free refills, they finally brought out a refill. I ordered an omelete with cheese, a side of turkey bacon, pancakes, juice, and a side order of fresh fruit. After an absurdlly expensive meal for what I ordered I only ate the small bowl of fruit, one panckae and one bite of the omellete and one bite of the bacon. The food was horrible, who ever the cook was they did not know what they were doing. My cousin and his son both were with me. My cousin asked for a refund and his son ate his burrito bowl. Some people might feel like they're slumming it up here in BP, but I like the eclectic crowd and the service has always been quality. My experience was terrible. I contacted the store three times after placing my order through door dash because the order was incorrect. The times I did call I was either hung up on, placed on hold and no one returned after 10 minutes and lastly no one picked up the last call. I had to write my own name to get on a waiting list that was a 10 min wait. While waiting, I over heard a few customer complaints about receiving the wrong receipt and also waiting 10min to pay a bill. I knew that I was 2nd or 3rd in line to be seated and noticed other people who were waiting in the lobby after me were seated first. I peeked at the waiting list and realized that everyone's name was crossed off except for mine. My boyfriend looked as well and asked when we could be seated because we were skipped. One star because the food was served. My fiancé, son and I had a breakfast crave, we decided to grab a few bites here. When we walked in two waitresses walked by, the manager looked up from behind the kitchen counter and still no greeting. I looked around and saw three little families at their booths. Finally someone came up and greeted us and gave us a table, handed us our menus and said someone will be right with you. 10 minutes later, the waitress came and asked what we wanted to drink. We could wait in their tiny lobby area with insufficient seating and 5 other parties waiting. I think not. I understand telling someone that they have no tables available and there is a 30 minute wait. But to say we have tables but won't seat you is ludicrous. First look at booths and there was torn covers, they should maintain better. Menus selection was good but prices were high. Pancakes were good. Scrambled eggs and omelettes tasted like bag eggs and were like RUBBER. Food was warm temperature like it was sitting a few minutes. Coffee is $3.09 per person but is brewed weak. They give you a whole pitcher so you are paying for all the extra waste. $3.09 is reasonable for a pitcher price and it shouldn't be their business if my wife and I share since it was already being paid for. Kids meals at first glance were priced high $6.00+. This was for something as simple as one pancake. Any extras like eggs cost more, kids drinks are not included. A kid chocolate milk was $2.69 and they skimped on the chocolate. Drinks alone cost $16.94 for 2 adults and 4 small kids. Total bill at the end was $75.23. We didn't buy steak and eggs just simple meals. Pancakes for kids, eggs and pancakes for one adult and an omelette and pancakes for the other adult. The pancakes are included with the eggs or omelette in exchange for toast. I brought my concern to the manager about the higher prices, especially for kids food/drinks, when asking for change to leave our tip. The manager quickly replied the prices are set by corporate and apologized that she could not personally address the situation.
