Tasted just like a Paloma, not overly sweet with the addition of tajin on the rim, as well as a sparkly dried grapefruit slice that sat on the top. We had Mother's Day brunch here at Craves and it did not disappoint! The food is always so delicious here! For this day there was a large variety of food to choose from. The eggs Florentine were my favorite they were absolutely delicious! The service was excellent! It's a nice classy establishment decorated nicely. Would give zero stars if I could. I scheduled a DoorDash order through Crave, was charged immediately, and received a confirmation email at 12 PM. Then 5 PM came -- the scheduled delivery time -- and nothing arrived. When I called Crave, the manager acknowledged that a mistake had been made, but both Crave and DoorDash proceeded to blame each other instead of taking ownership or offering any meaningful resolution. The only thing they offered was a refund for the food that was never delivered in the first place. What makes this even more frustrating is that they should never have accepted the order to begin with if they were unable to fulfill it. Instead, they confirmed the order, charged me, and left me scrambling during a special occasion. Mistakes happen, but how a business responds matters. Unfortunately, the response here was dismissive and unprofessional. I highly doubt I am the only customer this has happened to. read more

We stopped in for restaurant week, which has a fixed menu offering for $19 (appetizer + entree). Always enjoy coming to Crave. However, it seems as though the menu just had a makeover and a lot of favorites got taken off. Had chicken wild rice soup snd a flatbread the last time in. Soup still good, but the recipe tasted different than the past. Caprese flatbread was good, a little bigger than I was expecting, so maybe could have skipped the soup. We've been to Crave many times and we knew it was inconsistent. Lately, it's consistently gone downhill. Food: It used to be ok years ago, but the last several times, not good. Rolls are mostly rice. Salmon has been overcooked. Even poke bowl is extremely salty and saturated in plain soy sauce. Portions have gotten smaller and prices have increased. Service: it's very hit and miss, but mostly miss. Once seated, it tends to take very long to get water, drinks, food. This last time, the server accidentally dropped and broke a full glass of red wine on top of my plate. Glass and red wine shattered everywhere, including all over my pants. Not fun, but we were understanding that accidents can happen to anyone. We were kind about it; we moved to a different table and re-ordered. We were shocked when the bill came and they did not honor happy hour prices, even though the only reason we had to re-order was because of the broken wine fiasco. The manager gave me a business card for a dry cleaners - just a business card! LOL. We weren't offered a comp of any kind. Tonight was the first time at Crave in Woodbury. We were part of a large group. Took 2 hours and 45 minutes for the meal. When the food arrived, it wasn't even warm. Cool to the touch. I felt so badly for the couple sitting across from us. They came out after what felt like hours to tell them they could not address dietary needs of gluten-free. They had to order something else. Their food didn't arrive until 45 minutes after we received our food. They ate a couple of bites and had it boxed up. I do not necessarily blame wait staff. It felt like they were so understaffed for the number of people in the restaurant. The food? Meh..... Overpriced for the quality and temperature of food. Not going back. read more

Visiting from out of town and was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Stellar service and nice little touches like a citrus scented disposable towel to wash up with before your meal served warm. The Wagyu burger was excellent and my brother-in-law's burger I believe was the all-American and was also what he would call the best burger he had ever had. my sister got a chicken pasta and that the chicken wasn't flavored extremely well and was looking for a salt shaker. Had it not been for the chicken, I would've given this five stars. One thing I really did like was the crave salad that I got as a side to my burger. The croutons were House made and were excellent! Crave never disappoints - 4 stars! The Woodbury Crave was the latest stop in my on-going adventure to try every sushi joint in the Twin Cities. DECOR: Every Crave restaurant has outstanding décor. The first thing you encounter are front entry doors with giant red "V" door handles - very cool! Every Crave location seems to be a little different but a similar vibe...giant spaces with high ceilings, amazing custom light fixtures, and custom bar tops with lights - nice! CUSTOMER SERVICE: The second thing I notice at every Crave is the customer service. I sat at the bar and the service, as expected, was phenomenal. The bartender was completely 100% on top of everything and friendly without being overbearing. Shout out to Caitlin, thank you for the great service! FOOD: I stuck with my usual sushi rolls. All 3 rolls were good. Crave has different style rolls compared to traditional sushi joints. They have their own twist on things. First, they don't have as many roll options as most, obviously it isn't the primary focus at Crave. Second, their rolls are also larger with different flavor profiles than traditional Japanese style restaurants. It's different...but good. I think I prefer the roll options at other sushi places, but Crave is a nice switch-up and a nice change of pace. LOW CARBOHYDRATE: It's easy to eat low-carb, keto, carnivore style at Crave. Of course, they have tons of top shelf animal based options like steaks and sea food. As far as sushi goes, I always stick with my usual tuna based sushi rolls with a moderate amount of rice and other plant material. I always avoid large piles of starchy rice, big mountains of starchy noodles, and anything that might be hiding vegetable seed oils (like Yum Yum sauces and deep fried stuff), and anything that might be hiding added sugar. Unfortunately, we have been disappointed with our last few trips to Crave Woodbury. This used to be a go to destination for us. But, lately the food quality has gone down and the service has been subpar. It appears that staffing issues have made it difficult to maintain their quality. Tonight, we waited for 30 minutes after our reservation time and then were told that we had to wait for tables to finish before we could be seated. They had told us several times that they were preparing our table but never got seated. Only half the tables were being used, likely due to staffing, but it was discouraging to hear that our table was being prepared and then never get seated. This may be our last trip to Crave unless we hear that something has improved. Bummer. read more

My wife and I enjoyed happy hour at 3 pm on Wednesday with 2 food selections each along with a house gin martini and we shared a desert. Food from the happy hour menu was delicious, generously portioned, and the service was top notch. The whole space is tastefully appointed, has nice linen napkins, has a large number of tables, high ceilings, and the booths are tall enough to insulate your party from other customers' conversations. There were at least 10 other parties there. The hostess seated us in a booth that was spacious and comfortable even though I am slightly rotund. I was pleasantly surprised with a moist towelette to wipe our hands and faces before our items arrived. Our server was very patient and helpful as my wife asked multiple questions about the menu and accidently put her towelette into her sushi soy sauce dish. We ordered three different sushi items and a flat bread with Italian sausage, whipped ricotta, mozzarella, sprinkled with parmesan and aromatic, fresh basil. The martini was excellent and seemed to have had a twist of lemon taste to it, possibly from the house gin used. Our server said she made it herself and had not put any lemon in it. Finally, we shared a large piece of Crave's original 3-layer coconut cake ($11). It was served on a plate garnished with colorful tart strawberry/raspberry puree in a fancy smear surrounding the cake, that my wife insisted on finishing to the last drop even after the cake was consumed. The fluffy frosting of the cake was not overly-sweet and was covered in shredded coconut. The light moist white cake also tasted of coconut and reminded me of the cake I had on Kauai, HI except there it was garnished with fresh pineapple. Like most places since Covid, there was a 2.5% surcharge for using a credit card, so we paid with cash. With tip our total bill was $72 at happy hour prices. So while I wouldn't consider it a real bargain price , the atmosphere, service and tasty food made it a fair value and we will add Crave to our upscale happy hour rotation. read more

I've visited St Paul several times and had sushi plus walleye. I'd recommend both, and have been with several people at different times, who all enjoyed their food. It's busy, but was never difficult to get a table, the staff has always been courteous, knowledgeable and quick, while the seating and decor of upscale and modern. read more

The last 2 times I've visited CRAVE in Woodbury, the service was bad. I met my sister and mom for an afternoon lunch during the middle of the week and we had a reservation, but clearly didn't need one as the restaurant wasn't busy. After being seated by the host, it took our waitress ~10 minutes to come over to our table. My mom ended up getting up to go find out who our waitress was. She said, "I didn't see you guys sit down" -- yikes! Having worked in the industry, she has a section of tables so I'm not sure how she didn't notice us being seated. We all ordered sushi and drinks which were accurate and delicious. I'm disappointed the service has really gone downhill. Maybe they changed management and don't train staff anymore? There was a 2nd bartender who only helped a small group in the corner of the bar (where she remained chatting...while not serving anyone else). We frequent Crave Edina, but were a tad hesitant to visit this location knowing the MOA location sucks and the steady movement into chain territory isn't ideal... To our surprise, we had a great experience today in Woodbury!! Service was fantastic and the food was A+! Aside from the typical comments around great taste, I cannot rave enough about how appropriately timed everything came out to our table. The interior of Crave gave me Joey or Earl vibes (if you're from Seattle), though the food is undoubtedly better at Crave. Typically I don't love when a menu is super extensive. More often than not it's a red flag that the establishment isn't specialized in cooking anything and they probably have too many ingredients in the back that aren't fresh. With Crave, I don't find this to be an issue and greatly appreciate that their menu extends to plant-based and gluten sensitive diets as I trust the quality going into each plate. Likewise, they bring warm (hot!) towels to your table during the wait which is amazing. For drinks we enjoyed the Crave Old Fashioned and the Pear Smash, both were delicious. The Pear Smash is surely a top shelf drink- it's crisp, yet strong, and perfect to sip. They also have their own unique ice cube. For food, we shared the chicken avocado egg rolls and grilled cheese and basil tomato soup combo. No complaints. read more

While visiting Minnesota on a work trip, my coworkers always recommend coming here for dinner on my last night there. Apparently there's quite a few locations of his restaurant in the area. I honestly love coming here and the menu has such a great array of food options. You can go from steak to sandwiches than Sushi. The two times that I've been here, I've only ordered the sushi poke bowl. There was a normal one and a keto, Ive tried both. I'm interested in trying one of the steak dishes, but since this is on the companies dime. I try not to order expensive meals. They have an amazing dessert that I'm not quite sure if it's always on the menu or just a seasonal item. It was called the s'mores brownie. Absolutely delicious! Huge fan. This restaurant is quite large and has a feel of a cheesecake factory decor. Minus the portions being ridiculously large. They do have a bar in the middle of the room and I'm pretty sure they also offer happy hour. This location is located in a shopping center right across from a movie theater. I doubt you'll have any problem parking. I highly recommend coming here. read more

Large variety of food as vegan friendly, but the thing that stuck with me most is the dishonest pricing. Adding a 5% surcharge "to hire and retain talent", i.e. to pay your workers, is not cool. Add it to the price on the menu and pay your employees properly. Making your cocktails $18 and not printing them on the menu? Also not cool. If you want to make your items expensive, and you make it worth it, fine. It looks bad for you and feels bad for us to price unfairly. The main room was loud and even with the salary surcharge they clearly aren't good enough to staff to retain talent, because it was extremely short staffed. Food was decent but not great. read more

Crave has been a long term solid option for dining around the metro for a long time. They offer a huge menu with a lot of variety, pretty much something for everyone. Generally service is very good and the spaces are quite nice. The patio is nice, a little sidewalk patio into the shopping area where Crave is located. Crave has aways been pretty expensive for what you get, but most of the portions are good and the food is good quality. If you are looking for a nice ambiance, a menu to feed picky eaters (or people who want all kinds of different food such as sushi and burgers), and are willing to spend a bit then this place is a very good option. read more

My friend's meal was good, but mine was ruined as they put white onions in it. (Fettuccine with onions????) Yuk! I tried to pick them out but the flavor spoiled the taste. The other flaw with this place is no bread before the meal. And no sides with the meal like a salad , etc. The prices are high here and I expect a lot more for the money. Be warned so much of their menu is gluten free and sushi, their regular foods menu is surprisingly limited. I will say the service was great and friendly. The tempura shrimp roll was neither memorable nor bad, the key like pie was acceptable, etc but what really wrecked the experience for me is seeing them advertise a scallop and snow crab roll only to find out, they don't actually use 100% snow crab. making it actually an imitation crab roll like every other one on their menu. For someone with an allergy to fish, but not shellfish, this was a huge disappointment. even more shocking is that they apparently didn't even have snow crab on hand to make the roll as I needed it. What type of crab is really in the mixture? Our service was a bit slow given the restaurant being less than half full at 6pm. Overall, 2 stars. The food was unremarkable, neither fantastic nor bad, but what really bothered me is the 4.95% surcharge they tack onto the bill without warning. I prefer to know what I am paying, that's why I like prices on a menu. I don't like surprise charges. If inflation is hurting your business, then raise the prices of the goods you are selling, don't add a tacky and shady surcharge. As for the food. My kids ordered off the children's menu and their food was akin to fast food. I got the firecracker shrimp and a bowl of chicken wild rice soup. While good, the shrimp were quite expensive for the portion and the soup was fine. I prefer a little more chicken and wild rice, this soup was a little "brothy" and thin on ingredients. For desert we got the cookies and cream cake. The cake was a little dry, the cream part of the cake was good. read more
