Blueberry beverage and Strawberry Fields Forever
    Tracey F.

While I miss the "old" Nova, stopped in for a cocktail at the new space and it was very good. I will note, they do have some small bites now, like pizzas and small appetizers. Tried a strawberry fields forever, which was light and refreshing. Hubs had something with Blueberry and he seemed to enjoy it. The space is much more minimalist than the previous bar, but they also opened up the front side with a garage door that opens to the patio. Overall, a nice place to grab a beverage and enjoy a nice evening.

Personally I like old school boards and sharp tips. It keeps people honest while impeding traffic passing through your game. Across the street you'll find the Village Inn, so if you're bar hopping it's only a few stumbles away. I'm thinking that Guvs gets the overflow from Village and vice-versa. There was a lot of talk about Village when I was in Guvs with my buddy. Folks were dishin' the T. Plenty of drama happening across the way. Hey, as long as it wasn't about me I'm good. You don't want to get me involved. For I'm excellent at stirring the pot. As a matter of fact, did you hear about the new guy? Well he...... The beer is cold and the tenders aren't. Friendly as all get out. You'll enjoy the part of your life that you decide to share with the locals. Quick Tip: Look for the calendar on the fridge behind the bar. It affords you the possibility of earning a bit of the green. Choose a day, write your name and plop down what they're asking. You may find yourself in a position to buy the house a round. Who knows, I may be part of that house! Cheers!!!

Super friendly bartender Jordan was quick to offer to make me a cocktail, rattling off what some of the popular ones were... I channeled my former 21yo self and opted for a reasonably $4 priced Amaretto Sour. Great digs, spacious and well lit. Easy parking w a small private lot. Walked past a patio set out on the sidewalk as I entered. I didn't stay for more than the one drink since my friend reached out they had decided to eat across the street. When I told Jordan I'd be leaving and would like to tab out. I was met w a very friendly "I appreciate you coming in!" I don't drink in Hudson often, that's now down the hill @ the brewery or Nova but I will definitely make the drive up the hill to come back o Guv's Place for a delicious drink made by the friendly Jordan in a relaxing and comfortable, welcoming environment. Thanks Jordan and Guv's for a great inaugural visit, cheers!

Every meal…read moreand every visit has been consistently fantastic, which is why it's one of our favorite places to bring family and friends. We first discovered San Pedro's from a "best patios" list in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, decided to try it for a date night, and we've been hooked ever since. It's always worth the drive across the border into Wisconsin for this gem! The jerk chicken nachos are our absolute FAVORITE--we order them every single time. They're perfectly layered so every bite has that cheesy, flavorful goodness instead of everything sitting on top. A newer obsession of ours is the street corn pizza. It's the perfect balance of sweet and heat and easily one of the most unique, delicious pizzas we've tried. The cocktails always deliver, especially the jalapeño blood orange margaritas and the mojitos. San Pedro's is absolutely worth the wait for a table--especially if you can snag a spot on the patio!

If reservations are avail, take them. Service is fine. Nothing that stands out there. Food is mostly good! Almost everything we have ordered has been enjoyable. Some of the portions, like ceviche, salads, etc. are on the small side. But flavors are delicious.
