Terrible service, bland flavor overall, have been waiting to try this restaurant for years, first experience, would not recommend, won't not return. Asked if it was ok to go through drive thru, was told yes by staff in blue shirt then she instructed me to park, then while in my car parked as instructed someone behind counter kept point to the counter, drove around, expressed frustration, asked for refund, they essentially said whatever you got your food and shooed me away then closed door. This is actually my 2nd day in a row coming I was supposed to get a falafel bowl yesterday, but they gave me a chicken bowl on accident. So I took away a star for that. Thankfully I am not vegetarian so it was fine and I enjoyed it and got it today. Ingredients are so fresh and the flavors go so well. Portion size is perfect. I love that this location has a drive thru and is one of the main factors I chose to come here because with children going into places for pick up is not ideal. Ordered take out from here last Thursday, after mistakenly taking my kid to a doctor's appointment for the wrong week! Made my day, even with traffic back the food was still warm and tasty, and though I didn't specify we received hummus and a cucumber salad with our meal orders. I bought an extra bag of pita which was super yummy, and slightly sweet, so the kids enjoyed them with our meals (gyro plate, gyro sandwiches for the kiddos, and a chicken kebab plate) and then used them for pb&j the following day. Will definitely return. All the meat is halal and there is a certificate up on the counter. There is high top seating as well as tables and everything was clean. Easy parking. Friendly staff. We have been to other Falafel King locations in the area, but I think this one may be my favorite. read more

Fast Casual Middle Eastern. Stopped by here Sunday afternoon with friends. The place has plenty of seating and parking. Lots of other establishments are in the area. The staff seemed distant, but were attentive when we ordered. We had about 8 people order after the lunch rush, so I'm sure they were prepping for the evening shift. We ordered for take away. I ordered the Falafel King Combo with a Fanta. The food was fairly average for the category. I was very disappointed with the dolmades; the rice was dry :/ the hummus and babaghanough were lacklustre. They tasted like a spread, but for the price point, I'd rather pick up a tub from a certain Trader. I'm not familiar with the area, but if you're willing to drive there are other choices for Mediterranean/ Middle Eastern. read more

But with it comes slaw and tabouleh. Very filling with the potatoes. The lamb was a tad over cooked but I am not expecting fine dining. Those who know diets, say a Mediterranean diet is the best. You can't go wrong w/ Falafel King. They get the right ingredients, just the right touch cooking, and at a reasonable price. If you love food, unusual taste, and want to get away from the traditional hamburger and fries, this is an excellent place to go. I asked what was good and the drive through said the king platter, which is veggie. I also ordered a side of the gyro meat. The price was nice considering I got enough for two ppl which just those two items and everything tasted wonderful. The reason I'm leaving the review is because I've driven past this place a zillion times never trying. I guess I assumed it was going to be sketchy fast food but I found it to be totally worth the money and quality was great. I am so happy to have Middle Eastern food nearby. We got a small order the other night, everything was correct, on time, and tasty. I'm so thankful to have this place in Brooklyn Center. The drive thru isn't the fastest service but it's because each order is made fresh. They use fresh, delicious ingredients and it's a breath of fresh air when many other places nearby are typical fast food burger spots. I love the chicken shawarma pita pocket with fries! HORRIBLE!! If you have NEVER had Mediterranean food, this fodder may quench your hunger, BUT if you have had Mediterranean food, even the gyros at Arby's, this place will let you down. First of all, DO NOT order through a delivery service, because this place does not check what they're placing in which bags. Secondly, the burgers are well done, the gyro meat is a combination of hard & crispy and soft and mushy. The salad was tasteless, and ALL of the rest of the food, including everything previously listed, could have been served in a hospital or jail--completely tasteless, absolutely no seasoning. The gyro meat is thick slices, and not the thin shavings, so to get some that are tough & crispy and also receive some that are soft and mushy, that's a huge issue. Will not go back. We stopped a while ago, looking for a good dinner option. There are several places in the area, but we were looking for something different. This location fits the bill. Even though we stopped here a little after 8, ( they closed at 9 pm.), they actually accommodated us. They did not mind that we took a few extra minutes to order. I decided on a falafel burger, as it had been a long time, since I have had one. With my food I got some fries and baklava to go with my meal. I was able to have some of my food at the restaurant, and the rest when I got home. The burger was just incredible juicy, just like how a burger is supposed to be. Plus with crispy fries, what more can be said. Of course my burger was a little bigger than your average burger at a typical restaurant. Plus the ingredients were a little bit bigger as well like the pickles and cheese. It would be so good to go back again sometime. Maybe to try a gyro, or maybe even a salad. read more

It came with 2 kabobs with large amount of flame grilled pieces of chicken breast, yellow rice, cucumber- tomato Jerusalem salad, hummus and pita bread. Definitely enough for lunch and leftovers for dinner. It was absolutely delicious! The price of 10.99 was a value for the amount of food in the meal.
