Ordered "Curdside" and arrive at the time I selected and checked in with the "Im here" then waited at the designated pick up spot. I waited 10 minutes at the curdside and no one came. 4 cars came through the drive thru within that 10 minutes and all got their food while I waited. Walked inside and asked for my order and my food was just on the counter. After getting my food the fries were soggy but I would assume the food has been in the counter during the time I was waiting 10 minutes of me waiting outside for it to be brought to me. read more

While looking for some dessert, we decided to stop by this location of Culver's for a quick ice cream/shake. This is a very standard Culver's with the drive thru on the outside and standard decoration and layout on the inside. I opted to go for an Oreo Shake which was delicious, I love Culver's shakes as they are so tasty. Very sweet and rich, and Oreo is my ultimate all time favorite flavor for a shake. The staff were also very kind and the place was pretty clean. The reason I rate this only as 3/5 is that 2 times during our quick break for dessert at our table, we were approached by random strangers asking us for money. It was pretty uncomfortable, although we never felt unsafe. After the second time, we quickly finished our food and left. I have been at this Culver's many times both at the drive-thru and inside. I have never had any problems with my order at either place. Lately we have been ordering the Walleye dinner and sandwich (with no bun and no tartar sauce). Both of our orders arrived quickly and were very hot and fresh. They always get the sandwich order correct. Usually, I get the Butter Burger with fried onions and extra pickles from the drive-thru. Again my orders came quickly and were hot, fresh, and correct. The staff is plentiful and very welcoming. Never had a problem with understanding them or of them understanding our specialized orders. The place is always very clean inside and outside. Good food; typical quality you'd expect from any Culver's. But it was dragged down by a poor curbside experience. I'd submitted an online order at 8:23pm and received an estimated ready time of 8:29pm. Made my way over and got to the restaurant at about 8:40pm. I parked in the "curdside" parking (which was hard to find) and clicked on the "I'm here" button in the confirmation email. Then I soon also replied "here" to the confirmation text to make sure they got my message either way. But I got no response to let me know they received my message. I waited in my car and noticed car after car go through the drive thru and receive their orders while I continued to wait. When no other cars were left in the drive thru after 12 minutes of waiting, I decided to walk in. It seems like they were about to give me my order, but I managed to catch the person in time and let them know it was for me. Luckily, before I left I noticed there was no drink despite ordering one. The worker tried to dispute it at first until I pointed out the "Sprite" on the receipt. Then I was given a cup to go fill. I waited almost 20 minutes on the side of the building waiting for my food - to then see two cars behind me get their food before me. I finally received my food and the kid working tells me they messed up my order and hands me that wrong bag. Service was terrible. I arrived at 9:00 and the place closes at 10:00. The order box was wrecked - so I got to in ten minutes in - no one answered so I start to pull forward... someone talks... I yell I thought it was broken... the person taking orders (on 9/9/23 at 9:10 says no it's not) I yelled my order back a few feet at and then kept hearing next next... when I get to the window the person just kept accusing me of cutting in line and tokk my order saying we're really busy with all these people coming at the last minute... then gave an ugh... what do you want even though you cut in line. Fortunately, Culver's is worth the drive into Brooklyn Park. He got the Butter Bacon Burger Double Deluxe, and I got a Patty Melt (love them) basket. Best fries ever! Yes, I'll arm wrestle you to prove it - Ha! We also changed it up a bit and got the lemon ice offerings. We won't do that again because the lemon is way too strong. This is a review on their chocolate oreo volcano ice cream. OH MY GOD GET IT! If you like chocolate, you will love this ice cream. They put oreos, M&Ms, and also chocoate sauce. The M&Ms are a little hard, but they are frozen. Wisconsin sure does know their dairy. The chocolate isn't too rich, so it made it easy to me to eat this. I really do like Culver's, my grandpa Don brought me to the one in Elk River for my first experience, and ever since then, I have loved it This particular culvers is a good one because it was on the way to pick up my check from when I was a PCA worker way back when. I'd stop here almost every other friday to get a bacon cheese butterburger (Delish) and a chocolate concrete malt. They use custard instead of Ice cream, maybe thats the changing experience compared to a DQ Braiser or places like that, or maybe, perhaps just maybe, they put crack in their custard (Red bull did it with cocaine in Sweden, nothings impossible, right?) either way. I heart Culver's. And if you have yet to try it, you should. It is a great fast food restaraunt, and if its not love at first bite with your Culver's experience, you just must not like a good burger. I've always been a huge fan of Culvers, and this location while not remarkable is in a great location for Brooklyn Center and Brooklyn Park residents, and makes the best fast food burger this side of Five Guys.
