Bacon And Cheeseburger and crinkle cut fries- & Summit Extra Pale Ale.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice little restaurant with a 50s theme.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had a 6oz Bacon Cheeseburger and fries for $15.99. It honestly was just average and nothing special. Service from Ruby my waitress was fantastic, and she checked in on me frequently checking if I needed anything. Too full for dessert, but the pie selection was great along with many choices for all.

If you're looking for comfort food and incredible dessert this is your spot. We both had burgers - the "special sauce" on the Grill burger really makes it! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was a tad slow, but this is a cute locally owned spot that commits well to the theme.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Family friendly, positive experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice 50's charm. Everything really transports you back in time. Great deco[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I had a burger which was great. And then the pie's . You must try. Great service.

First time at 50's Grill- what a fun place! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is great and I loved all the 50's icons on the wall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got a banana malt and it was so good and had real banana chunks in it. Then we ordered a bacon cheeseburger with mashed potatoes and the chicken pot pie. The fresh baked bread served with the pot pie was delicious and warm. Chicken pot pie was very good and well seasoned- the crust was so flaky. And the mashed potatoes were tasty as well but the cheeseburger was just okay- the bun was homemade but the patty was unseasoned.

Patty Melt with mash potatoes and gravy and a Butterscotch milkshake

Sometimes you gotta go back in time to find real quality. I have passed by this place countless times and did not even give it a second look. The 50's Grill is surrounded by fast food chain restaurants left and right. But in the midst of all that here lies an authentic spot with quality food that they say is made fresh and with natural ingredients. My palate was very happy. As you walk into the 50's Grill it's definitely a step back in time. The servers even wear the flare skirts with pink and black details. It was super cute. I loved that they had booths. A diner style restaurant must have booths in my opinion to keep up with the era. Now, I knew I wanted a Butterscotch malt/milkshake before I even knew what meal I wanted. Finally, I decided on the Patty Melt with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. I loved every bite. The patty was so tasty. The meat was well flavored and well done. The fried onions and melted cheese all blended together so well. Also my mashed potatoes and gravy were butterlicious. The Butterscotch milkshake/malt was one of the best I have had. It was so rich and sweet. My friend had the Swiss Mushroom Burger with fries which he loved it as well with his IBC Root Beer. Their motto is " We really cook" and it showed. Definitely a fun low key spot.

This makes the burger really chewy and you really can't taste the beef anymore like you used to when it was thicker. I would take this as it's not as good as it used to be. It is not as good as the original hype from the beginning. In conclusion, I do not think it's worth the $19. I rather get a cheesesteak for $16 at Tono's which comes with fresh not burnt fries rather than come back here and get a burger here. It's highly unlikely I will be back here. I honestly feel like the burgers have gone way WAY downhill. The fries here have gotten terrible so I stopped getting the fries a long time ago. They are not soft crisp like they used to be. They are too golden brown color, almost like burnt hard fries. I never like to eat down here. I normally would order the Parlour burger upstairs. The basement part which is Parlour has a weird smell like a locker room smell so that's why I don't like to eat down here.

Juicy burger, little bit of salt from cheese and the sauce balanced the fatty burger patty. The sesame bun never got soggy from the juicy burger and sauce. Pomme Frites w/ Le Sauce - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Perfectly salted. Went great with Le Sauce that tastes like a balance of mayo and dijon.

You get west coast mid century modern that feels cozy and hip. The band played from 3-5 which I admit I originally thought was weird. But quickly realized why. This place was created for three reasons: good food, vibes, and family fun. You look around the room and EVERYONE is having a great time. Someone's Grandpa and grandma are having a blast on the Dance floor, kids are laughing, and everyone eating and truly having a wonderful time. The food was SO SO SO good. My husband got the pastrami ribs and I wish I had taken a photo because HOT DAYUM they were fire. And the coolest part about this place is they don't accept tip. Instead there is a surcharge so all employees can have a livable wage and that's so appreciated and you can tell by the service. Everyone we encountered had a genuine smile on their face. For the owners- my husband and I weren't sure if we wanted children and have been going back and forth about it for so long... but being in a safe family environment where fun and good vibes and inclusivity is possible- it hit us like a ton of bricks. Thanks Animales. We will be sure to bring our family here for the years to come

The hostess was extremely unfriendly and seemed very unhappy. She played the game and greeted us, but never once made eye contact, said "welcome in", "thank you for coming in" or anything else that would make a customer feel like they were appreciated for coming in. From the time we walked in to the time she showed us to our table, I said "thank you so much" three times and not once was even acknowledged or replied back with a "you're welcome". She should really find something else to do if she's not going to be a "host". Serving people should be the greatest pleasure we have when engaging with those we don't know. Patrick on the other hand was truly awesome. Friendly, smiling, engaged in conversation prior to taking our order and just seemed happy to talk to us. We told him we were from Nevada and were only there because of a recommendation from a couple in an elevator! He thought that was just awesome. Food arrived and everything was really good. The hash browns were WAY overcooked, almost burnt, but that was the only negative thing to say about the food. It was otherwise delicious! I would strongly suggest this place for breakfast.
