I highly recommend this place. It's a great place to go in the cold to feel like you are somewhere warm! Parking is street parking or in the back for all of the businesses in this area. The staff is friendly and the only thing I would say that is negative is service is a bit slow. Just go with island time. I definitely recommend dinner, brunch, or just going for drinks at the bar. My favorite drink is the rum old fashioned (Campesino) and my wife's favorite is the El Puerto.

Plenty of parking and easy to find. I went there for a work event. The food was really good. We had soft shell and fried puff shell, seasoned chicken or beef tacos. Yellow rice and refried beans. Chips and traditional fixings. The people were very nice. Heard it was family owned. The mixologist really knew her drinks and how they were created. She gave a good suggestion. Pretty drink. Didn't taste like what I thought, but that's ok. Definitely has a Caribbean vibe to it. Straws like chairs, wood tables and lots of greenery. The TV was in Spanish and the music R&B. They covered everything! Lol.

Marnas was lovely! I enjoyed the fun, tropical yet cozy atmosphere. Our server explained the happy hour menu and gave some recommendations. We tried the calamari, ceviche peruano, mussels, and arroz con camerones. My favorites were the calamari and mussels. Will be back to try drinks and dessert!

Some of the best food I've had in a while! I had the chicken empanadas, tostada, and platano Maduro. The proteins in each were sooo flavorful and everything was fresh. The cocktails are large. I spent $100 on a date night where we tried a few things, including drinks and dessert. The vibe was so cute - like a tiki bar! My only qualm was their menu denoted a seafood allergy notice for a steak dish I really wanted to try. The staff wasn't sure why - they looked into it and said it was due to the rice, which didn't make sense because other dishes had rice too and no denotion. I do have a shellfish allergy - this was mostly sad because I wanted to try those dishes, and wish the staff was a little clearer. They were friendly though! Overall would come back!

Love the arroz con heuvo. So delicious! And the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Super cute ambiance that definitely transports you out of MN to a relaxing, tropical island. We also loved the open kitchen concept. Started off with the seared scallops, which were good, but the scallops were tiny. Why not go with larger scallops and bump up the price? I selected the El Dorado and was just a little miffed that the coconut habanero rice didn't have more flavor. The star of the show was my husband's Casado, which he was kind enough to share with me when he noticed I wasn't eating my meal with gusto (we swapped plates halfway through). Also, the La Pina drink was visually appealing, but I wouldn't consider it worth ordering again. While we did love the ambiance and appreciated the culinary vacation, the only real downside was our server, Victoria. She seemed like she'd rather be anywhere else than at work, and didn't check in to inquire as to how we liked our food or see if we wanted any other beverages. We'd planned to order dessert but got so tired of waiting that we paid as soon as we could and grabbed some elsewhere on the way back to our hotel.

Great presentation on the dishes, tasty, fresh ingredients in a cute stylish space. Friendly staff. Street parking or free parking lots down the block.

Marnas has been on my list to go to for a while and I was not disappointed! The ambiance makes me feel like I'm somewhere tropical and the food and drinks were not only delicious, but beautiful as well. We ordered per the recommendations from our server and everything was great! The lavender coconut margarita was the prettiest purple color and so refreshing and our meals were packed with flavor. I would love to come back to try more!

This area is becoming the hidden gem of eateries. I love trying out new foods, especially Latin - this is Costa Rican influence dishes. There's 2 rooms to the restaurant, one is the bar and the other is the bigger dining room. They also have a big patio area too. Service was great, they gave us recommendations to order. My friend had the cocktail in a real pineapple. I had to order tres leche first because we always get so full and no room for dessert. Food was flavorful and fresh.

Randomly came to Marna's for dinner with my fiancé one night and we ended up LOVING it! Everything from the drinks to the food was so fresh and full of flavor. Our server was really helpful in giving recommendations since we weren't sure what everything was the on the menu and we loved what she told us to try! There is plenty of seating inside and we can't wait to come back in the warmer months to enjoy food and drinks on the patio. The ambience is so cute inside too, perfect for a date night or dinner with friends!

A couple things, there's a parking lot, and there's three entrances that makes it confusing as hell. The entrances take you to what feels like three different spaces that are all part of the restaurant. However, only the street facing entrance takes you to the host stand, all entrances are open but you're only suppose to go to the front...think of it as a maze activity before dinner. There's the main dining area, a "lounge" area that looks more like a restaurant than a lounge, and a cute outdoor space that makes you feel like you're at a beach resort. We sat outside. For food: Vigoron, yes, gimme more. Crispy, crunchy pork belly thats also so juicy and succulent. The slaw was great and you get yuca frites with the pink sauce that has Big Mac sauce vibes, but better. Chicken Casado: Meh, chicken was cooked well, it was seasoned-ish, but the dish overall was missing fireworks. Needed a punch of flavor, could have used a hot sauce...or the pink sauce. Mahi mahi ceviche: Yup, get it. You have the bright lime flavors and tender mahi mahi, it was refreshing and so light you may as well not count the calories. Yuca Frites: Perfect, I'd take yuca frites over French fries anyday. Gauc was gauc. I'd skip. Dessert, the churros, a bit too doughy for my liking and it had zero flavor. The coconut ice cream, however, was divine. It had so much coconut flakes that it was cake like. I'd like a carton of the coconut ice cream. Service was friendly, but painfully slow. We arrived at 4pm, hardly anyone else dining that early, yet it took 2 hours for us to finish our meals. Our drinks took forever, food was pretty quick, but everything thing else was snail like. We had to go find our server to pay it was taking so long. Overall, I'd come back for sure, but I guess I'll plan for 3 hours next time :/

The food was really flavorful and delicious for the appetizer I got seared scallops, which came with roasted poblano orange sauce, sweet potato purée and roasted corn. For my entree I ordered the gallo pinto it has Rice and bean blend served with sweet fried plantains, sour cream, sunny side up egg, guacamole and a tortilla aliñada I added some carnitas for some extra protein. For my drink I ordered a mimosa flight and La Pina which had rum haven coconut water rum, coconut cream, lime, and pineapple juice

This place is suppose to be a costa rican restaurant which it has some hint in there but its more so american. The service is good although I was set in the empty part of the restaurant. Could have set me at the bar so I can get some content. The food was good but it wasnt like Costa Rican good more american good. The mimosa flight could have been better they use a non sweet champagne its that strong dry one which overpowers the flavors they have for the mimosas. Try them out!

Harry is a friendly elderly man from Trinidad and Tobago. He is apparently very well known in Minnesota, particularly for his curries which I will be sure to try the next time I'm in state. Personally, I'm never able to resist jerk chicken and so upon sitting down, I promptly placed my order for jerk chicken and plantains. Unfortunately he was out of Caribbean punch but he made me a mixture of sorrel and ginger beer that was pretty good although a bit sweet for me. When my jerk chicken arrived at my table, I was in awe of the sheer amount of food I had unknowingly ordered (and very glad I hadn't ended up ordering the curry as well as one person) and of the smell. It was so hot it was smoking and I could immediately smell the flavors were legit and the chicken would be spicy. This jerk chicken was spicy in a way that sneaks up on you. I was surprised to feel my eyes watering! One of the other patrons was coughing from the spice of his meal so if you're not used to spicy food, definitely order a glass of milk in advance! The plantains were perfectly ripe, sweet and well cooked, just like I would make for myself! Harry was very kind and sweet and kept coming up to my table as well as his tables of regulars to chat and exchange stories. I'm not always the most chatty but I didn't feel uncomfortable speaking with Harry. Overall, I enjoyed my time and my meal at Harry Singh's and will be happy to return the next time I'm in the city
