Burger, corn dog, pork cutlet sandwich, soup, rings.
Barb B.

The jalapeño burger is probably the best burger I've had and that includes sit down restaurants. On our last visit the soup was very salty, however this time it was perfect! The pork cutlet sandwich tasted fine but was very dry and completely fell apart, needs some sort of condiment included. Rings were awesome, the girls (pups) loved the corn dog ( it was pretty tasty), will definitely be back again and again .

Chicken tenders & strawberry shake

There's not a ton of Drive-in experiences in Mn as it's freezing cold half of the year. It's cool to catch one when you can. My mom likes the burgers here however I don't eat beef so my options were limited. I ended up getting chicken tenders & a strawberry shake. The chicken tenders weren't great. I feel like they make the bbq sauce in house? It was very watery and had a sweet apple flavor to it, I didn't really like it. The shake was really good though. The food came out fairly quick. We were able to get in & out. Not too much interaction with staff as they just take the order over intercom & deliver the food to your car.

Walleye fish dinner. What a joke only 2 pieces of fish nuggets. More like mini fish egg rolls. Very disappointed.

I expected more for $13. Very disappointed. I wanted to try fish dinner. More like fish snack. Not even a full size piece of fish. What a joke.

An old school drive-in serving exactly what you expect. They're top notch a frying and griddling bread

The Jalapeno popper burger is so good! It's nice and season and has just enjoy spice. The fries also are good. Has a nice crunch. It's a drive up, they come out to your car. I did realize you can go inside too. The service is great and food is prepared fresh.

The building looks a little rough but don't let that scare you away, it's part of the charm. You can order and eat in your car or they have picnic tables too. Burgers were fresh and cooked well served on a soft but toasted bun. Good size serving of onion rings that weren't greasy. Thick, chocolaty malt. Prices similar to any other fast food but I don't feel gross after eating. Service was quick and friendly. The place was busy so service with a smile was noticed.

Pregnancy cravings for fried food and didn't want typical fast food. I didn't get a picture of my burger but it was basic like other reviewers said. No seasoning to the meat. Onion rings was highlight. Husband said chili dog was subpar. Def one suffer for me. Good place if you like unseasoned fried food. I also felt cost was high

Finally made it to Wagners and so happy we did! This is a small, old school drive in where you push the button to order from your car and the deliver right to you. No car trays so plan on eating right from your dash or your laps. The food was great! We got two cheeseburgers, a mushroom Swiss, large fry, side if onion rings and a chili fry. Burgers were cooked well and the mushroom Swiss had a ton of mushrooms. Fries and onion rings perfectly crispy. The crisp fries helped keep the chili fries from getting too soggy as well. Traffic was consistent on a Saturday mid day but not packed and everyone could find a spot. Service was nice and food was delivered quickly. Only recommendation would be to order extra ketchup packets as we only got 4 with our order. A great choice for a fast and fun bite on the go!

Looking for something a little more fun or classic than your typical fast food drive through? Head to Wagners for a delicious burger/sandwich and order via the retro drive up. Service was super fast and friendly. Music was great too (oh wait - that was all me behind the car playlist).

Ask the Community - Wagner's Drive-In

Can you go in, or will they bag take out? I love the food, but not crazy about drive-in dining during some of our seasons here or with certain vehicles.

Actually, they now bag the food, so you can do take out, eat in your car, eat at one of their picnic tables, or eat inside (the have a small dining room).

Every time I…read morewalk in, everything looks fresh, clean, and beautifully displayed--it's honestly hard to choose just one thing. The pastries are consistently soft, flavorful, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciate. Their cakes are also top-tier--light, fresh, and perfect for any occasion. The drinks are just as good. Whether it's coffee or something more specialty, everything tastes well-made and balanced. Service has always been friendly and efficient, even when it gets busy. What really stands out is the consistency--you know exactly what you're going to get every time, and it never disappoints. Great place to grab a quick bite, meet with friends, or just treat yourself. Highly recommend.

When you first walk in grab a tray to your right and some paper squares to pick up items. There are pastries both forward to the left as well as to the right. Also don't miss the cakes to the left of the check out counter. My favorite thing to grab is the fruit tart! I usually pick up a coffee to eat with my pastry. In terms of service I do say the staff is busy and does not interact as much as I like but the food makes up for it. The atmosphere inside does vary. As it is a busy coffee shop on weekends but week days and early morning weekends is a quiet place to have a coffee and read the paper.

We had the whole space to ourselves, as the café was empty. Everyone was taking their orders to go. It's the best old-fashioned doughnut I've ever had, and my mother-in-law said her apple fritter was delicious. Both of my kids chose the Oreo specialty donuts, and neither of them could finish because they were on the very sweet side. But they had leftovers for after school! Despite the demand and weekend rush for these donuts, there are always plenty of options for everyone, whether you're a fan of classic, no-frills options or dessert-style, specialty creations. I love that they offer appetizing vegan and gluten-free options! My kids were absolutely over the moon for these treats, and even I--someone who doesn't usually go wild for donuts--couldn't help but appreciate the freshness of the dough and the perfect glaze on the jelly-filled varieties I tried. The jelly hit the sweet-and-tart balance just right, making each bite delightfully satisfying. The shop itself is cozy and inviting, with plenty of indoor seating if you want to enjoy your donuts on-site. It's the kind of place where you can linger, sip your coffee, and savor each bite without feeling rushed. Uffda Donuts makes it easy to see why they've got a loyal following: quality, care, and a little bit of magic in every donut. Go early, go hungry, and prepare to leave with a smile (and maybe a sugar rush).
