    Kevin's Kombo

Kevins Kombo was a delicious sandwich. hefty, juicy, great flavor. Spendy at $27 with tip and chips were just Dutch crunch but sandwich left a great impression and I'd come back. Came right before lunch time on a Thursday, quick enough with friendly server.

Consistently great food and service! Friday...Lent... time for their "Friday Fish and Chips Special". Outstanding fresh fried cod with amazing Cole Slaw, I got extra as an opted out of the fries! Service as usual was great!

Came here Sunday. The place wasnt overly busy before noon but it started to pick up. Server very friendly and attentive and the ambiance was nice. Food was very very good. 2 of our party had the fish sandwich and the filet was huge. They liked it a lot. I ordered a fried bologna sandwich and potato salad. The sandwich rocked but the potato salad was bland as bland can be. They have a nice deli and baked breads. We will be back again soon!

The perfect place for nostalgia! I'm originally from the North Shore Suburbs of Chicago, where I can find a Deli everywhere - ever since moving here I've been wanting to find the perfect spot and this is it! My boyfriend and I came here on a rainy morning to grab some breakfast, and try their matzoh ball soup. All of it was delicious! The soup was warm and flavorful, the matzoh ball a little dense for my taste but everyone has their preferences. We got a Veggie omelet and the breakfast sammy. We both loved our food and was served a large plate! Only note was that both dishes needed salt, but we added that ourselves. My favorite part of this spot is the deli - since it was right before Passover I was able to get some KforP treats that were delicious. Highly recommend their Passover brownies - like fudge! We also tried a bagel and a B&W Cookie from the counter. The bagel is NY style with a hard skin and a chewy inside. The cookie was my favorite, like the ones I always got as a kid! I will definitely be back here.

    Crossroads Pastrami on Pumpernickel

I'm missing pastrami grinders from California so this is my first stop in finding the best possible substitute in the Twin Cities. This is is 6 on a scale from 1-10 compared to what I was hoping for. This has been one of my wife's favorite places that we haven't been to in many years because we live so far away. For the sandwich to get a 10 from me it needs to be served on a hoagie/sub bun with yellow wax peppers on the side. Mustard, shredded lettuce and dill pickles never hurt either. The pastrami itself was most with just the right amount of fat. The next time I'll probably just buy the pastrami at their deli and DIY the sandwich at. home.

Food was decent and service was good, but it all felt overpriced. The menu didn't particularly feature much in the way of Jewish fare.

I've tried their cheddar jalapeño pretzel, which was really flavorful and delicious. I personally would've loved a little more salt or spice, but it was still very good. The staff is always incredibly friendly and genuinely loves to chat, which is one of my favorite things about coming to a local bakery. I recently got the chance to try their raspberry cupcake, and it was amazing. It tasted so fresh and moist, and the flavor was spot on without being overly sweet. I'm already planning a return visit to try another cupcake flavor soon. The inside is just as charming as the food, with cute signs throughout and a couple of small tables where you can sit and enjoy your coffee and treats. Overall, it's a great spot to stop by whether you're grabbing something to go or hanging out for a bit.

It's difficult to see the screen unless you're standing right by the cashier, so I ended up looking at the menu online while waiting to order. I attended solo but luckily really liked the group I was assigned to. We wanted everyone to work on things they enjoy and allowed everyone to try some parts of the important tasks (making pasta and pastry dough). Your enjoyment might really depend on what your group is like. You can buy wine and beer to drink while you take the class, and those were reasonably priced I thought! $9 for a glass of wine and I think $8 for beer. The class was chaotic since we were making three courses and things needed to be done at different times, but the chaos felt like how it really is in a kitchen making multi course menus, so that didn't bother me! The assistants were great and helped us stay on track and helped if we were struggling with anything. I can't say I learned much from the class (which is why I only gave 4 stars), but I sure had a lot of fun!
