The raspberry cookie was repeat re eat .... so delish. The pumpkin was smooth and did spread over my tongue like an avalanche of wet light spice. The cinnamon rolls..... they were ok dry, I wish I heated it a little bit. Clean neat presentation of the goods inside the box. We cut them into pieces so we can try every piece. My colleague picked it up so I can not judge the place.

It's a sweet pit stop on early Sunday mornings and we quite enjoy the scones, the Chocolate Babka, and the cinnamon rolls.

The chocolate pinwheel was just okay and a little on the dry side. Parking is a bit limited and there's no seating, so this is more of a grab-and-go spot. It does get busy, but the line moves quickly which is nice. Staff was friendly and efficient. They have a large assortment of coffee and other hot drinks, but the real highlight here is definitely the baked goods. They also offer breakfast items that can be heated, which is great if you want something more filling. The shop itself is really cute with a cozy, charming feel. They also have a small selection of items for sale, which adds a nice touch while you're waiting in line.

Ok brewed and coffee cake, which looks like a bread. Have to try more items when in SLP. Coffee had an amazingly nutty, naughty roasted toasted taste with the ever important after taste. How did I miss this place across from Trader Joe's in the past? Was on the other side of town and checked trusty Yelp for "Coffee Shops Near Me". Gotta go. Getting out of the parking lot was a task. One side is no left turn onto Excelsior Blvd. Try to turn back the other way with cars entering on two sides..yes two sides to enter, only one to exit. Made it, now sipping and driving 8 miles to my next location. Coffee feels good on a bone numbing day.

I attended solo but luckily really liked the group I was assigned to. We wanted everyone to work on things they enjoy and allowed everyone to try some parts of the important tasks (making pasta and pastry dough). Your enjoyment might really depend on what your group is like. You can buy wine and beer to drink while you take the class, and those were reasonably priced I thought! $9 for a glass of wine and I think $8 for beer. The class was chaotic since we were making three courses and things needed to be done at different times, but the chaos felt like how it really is in a kitchen making multi course menus, so that didn't bother me! The assistants were great and helped us stay on track and helped if we were struggling with anything. I can't say I learned much from the class (which is why I only gave 4 stars), but I sure had a lot of fun!

Pure magic. The chocolate almond croissant is next level--flaky, buttery, and packed with rich, decadent flavor. And don't even get me started on the breakfast sandwiches--they're gourmet-level masterpieces. Every bite is perfection. The vibe & service here is warm and inviting, with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries filling the air. Whether you're grabbing a coffee, treating yourself to a pastry, or diving into one of their soups or salads, this place nails it every time. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. Today I tried their Roast Beef on Weck, which is carved roast beef on a type of roll called a Weck (a Kaiser-style roll topped with coarse salt and caraway seeds.). The restaurant was busy, and this is not a trendy place! I'd be surprised if there was anyone in the restaurant who was not of Medicare age (which also describes me; I'm not being ageist, just truthful). This is something that is available for lunch, during the week (not on weekends). Previously, I wanted to order this before. It was at the beginning of the lunch hour, so unfortunately the end pieces were cooked well-done. I asked if they would cut from the center, which is much more rare, but they wouldn't do that. This time, we came later and I could see that the roast beef was gloriously rare, which is what I like. The sandwich was quite enjoyable because it was juicy and flavorful. It comes with a side of cole slaw which is vinegar based (which I liked, but isn't traditional in the Midwest). It's difficult to find good, rare roast been in the Twin Cities, so this was another good find. My wife had the matzo ball soup, which remains high quality. The beef on weck sandwich (with coleslaw) was nearly $20, which is a bit on the expensive side. The service is spotty. It depends upon who is your waitstaff person (I knew it would be slow based on our previous experience with this person).
