Date of visit: November 24, 2025 I was shocked when I found out that we were able to find a restaurant to house a party of 27 for my Gramma's 92nd birthday, and at IHOP no less! There was a bit of a cluster trying to book it, when my aunt called she was told no and then they called her back and told her yes, so we were unsure if it was actually going to happen, but it did! While the venue was large enough (they had us in the IHOP breakfast area that was not in use otherwise), they did nothing to tidy it up, with tables and chairs haphazardly strewn about and stacks of menus sitting in piles with rags. First time at this new location, I think it's been opened about 2 1/2 months. This restaurant is combined with an Applebees and you can order off either menu. I recognized our waitress right away from the IHOP on Miller Parkway, She was always my favorite there. First time we went there they had no pancakes for the entire day. They sat us down without telling us and then after waiting 20 minutes for a server we tried to order and then she informed us that they didn't have pancakes because someone made the batter wrong. Why wouldn't you tell everyone that before you sat them. You're literally the International House of Pancakes and you had no pancakes! Today we decided to try them again and were disappointed yet again. They didn't bother to shovel their handicap parking spots and it's been well over a week since it last snowed! I had to drop my son off in front and then drive around to find a normal spot. And then my chocolate chip pancakes were missing the chocolate batter. They tried to tell me they don't do that anymore and that it's because they're teamed up with Applebees but it literally says on their menu chocolate batter pancakes. I would rather drive thirty minutes out of my way to go to the Delafield IHOP than to this one ever again! read more

Ihop is now ihop/applebees. They remodeled and opened earlier this week. Menu is a combination of ihop and applebees. Order anything. Open till midnight. Located in the Holiday Inn on Moorland road just south of Brookfield Square. Eviana was an amazing host - perky, cheerful, high energy, great smile, beautiful uoung woman. Young men - shes single and would be a great catch! Treat her right cause shes not settling for just anyone. Server Desnae was great. Only been there a week but shes got this job totally under control. Food was great. Took some pics but food was partially eaten before i remembered to take pics. Drinks were fabulous (full bar) Had dinner for dinner tonight. Often when im at ihop i have breakfast for dinner. The tomato basil soup is delicious. Yes i drizzled some soup on the mashed potatoes. I never write reviews but this one I had too. I was debating if to order my usual club sandwich w delicious ranch from Dennys it was kind of far from where I work decide to go With ihop in moorland. Very disappointed $2 charge for ranch dressing that's sucked. The fries are hard rock no seasoning. The sandwich little to no meat with ton of yellow cheese greasy. Well I just threw 18$ in the trash and staying hungry until I get off of work. Most of the restaurant near me already know me I buy at 4 time a week. That's why I hate trying new places. While passing through Brookfield, WI, I stayed at the Holiday Inn and visited the adjacent Applebee's/IHOP for dinner and then breakfast the next morning. Both experiences were well worth the effort (which was no more than a few steps from the lobby of the hotel). I enjoyed a fresh, crisp salad with a tasty breadstick for dinner and a spicy poblano omelette with FRESH fruit for breakfast. Absolutely no complaints on the freshness, presentation or taste of the food. My only disappointment was the coffee. Although it was hot and plentiful, it wasn't the most pleasant flavored coffee I prefer. I doctored it with the vanilla creamer and sweetener so I could get my fix and wake up. My servers were amicable, polite and helpful, visiting my table to ask if I needed anything and how I was doing just the right amount of times. The restaurant was just the right amount of lively; not too noisy but well populated. And there were several TVs on all sides of the bar for viewing multiple kinds of sports. I recommend this Applebee's/IHOP for convenience and a good meal. read more

We just wanted a good old-fashioned American breakfast and we certainly found it this morning. What a pleasant surprise as we were greeted promptly served quickly and efficiently. Food was cold and tasteless. The syrup tasted watered down. The waitress was sweet but after we received our food we didn't see her until she removed dishes. The restaurant was pretty empty but we did watch the staff huddled around the kitchen entrance. I ordered toast which arrived cold and dry. The butter was in a tiny container frozen and not enough to butter one slice by two. I ate slice with jelly not butter. My wife said her pancakes were tasty but cold. I would understand that if restaurant was busy but it was rather empty. Hire a manager. read more

They have trouble finding reliable staff, but the prices and the portions are unbeatable and their kitchen is great. Don't bother coming in if Tammy isn't working. She's the best server I've ever had the blessing of encountering. Full service bar and good old Tammy makes a drink exactly how you want it. read more

When I arrived thought that this isn't good when a whole restaurant is empty and it's attached to a hotel The one entree that I tried was 4 out of 5 stars since the mashed potatoes tasted different in my opinion The service was questionable since I was the only person in the restaurant. I insisted that I wanted a Salisbury steak and I even pointed it out on the menu but for some odd reason the wait staff kept insisting that I wanted the sirloin steak tips instead I have reason to believe that this wait staff couldn't or didn't understand the English language in its entirety on the tablet that was in use. But finally I was able to get my order placed and arrived in a timely manner I'll give location another chance in hopes of better service from the wait staff. read more

I came here with my fiance and son. We were greeted quickly and sat pretty quickly as well. We waited about 5 minutes for someone to come over and see if we were ready to order drinks while we looked over the menu. When our waitress came over, we placed our drink and food order at the same time. It took about 5 minutes to place the order because she was new and didn't know the system on her tablet / ipad very well and was having difficulty entering everything. Please understand we had NO ISSUE with her being new but if she was that unfamiliar with the system, it may have been wiser to have someone with her who could help her when she got stuck - especially since it wasn't busy (we were 1 of 3 tables) so 1 of the other employees should have / could have helped her. After we ordered, It was about another 10 minutes before we got our drinks (nothing alcoholic so it shouldn't have talken as long) and yet another 20 minutes before the food was brought out. When it was brought out, we noticed it was room temperature meaning it had been sitting for a while. We would have said soemthing to the waitress but she didn't come back around so we just ate the food as it was. We didn't see our waitress again until after we had been done eating for about 10 mintues and we let her know we were ready for the check. It was another 15 minutes before she brought the check over. Overall, service was slow (not completely in fault of our waitress), food was mediocre in terms of hot and how it tasted. Probably will be back but not for quite a while. read more

Really nice looking restaurant. It's conveniently located within the IHG Brookfield Milwaukee Hotel (working on rebranding as a Holiday Inn). This is the first IHOP I've seen that has a bar, which makes sense being a hotel restaurant. I had a mimosa with breakfast which was a nice touch. The restaurant was clean and bright. The food and service were both good. I'd definitely eat there again if in the area, especially if I'm staying at the hotel. read more

My wife and I went for an early dinner at 5:30 and had to leave after waiting 15 minutes for water. Several staff were "working" but once we were seated no one can back. Really bummed. service and food was awful. my husband and I arrived at 6:15 pm. there was no hostess at their post. there were no waitstaff or bus person or bartender at the bar. there were no customers except one elderly couple waiting for their bill. we seated ourselves. we waited about 10 minute before our waiter appeared from a back room. we were given menus and my husband ordered beer, he waited 40 minutes for the beer and when the beer arrived the waiter said, Sorry for the wait but the bartender is really really busy, um the bartender was NEVER behind the bar even for the beer. not sure where the beer came from but certainly not from that bar. it wasn't until the beer arrived tht out server too out order. I was starving. I order the BLT with onion rings, my husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger with french fries. our food arrived 35 minutes later, our server disappeared immediately after delivering our food. we weren't given any eating utensils nor napkins. my husbands BACON cheeseburger had NO bacon on it and the burger was hammered, my BLT was served on miniature baby size toasted bread, (smaller than a Mc'D' regular bun but square). my BLT had 1 strip of bacon broken in half with 1/2 strip on each side of the sandwich. my onion rings were fried all clumped together so that I had to pry them apart to eat them. keep in mind I had no napkin to wipe my greasy fingers on either. I had one slice of a green tomato and one leaf of winter soggy lettuce. again...still no waitstaff in this room. we ate the food because we were starving after a long afternoon Xmas shopping. when we were all done eating our waiter magically apeared and asked how everything wa. I told him all of the above. He then went and got us utensils nd. stack of napkins. better late than never I guess. he said," sorry, the cook is being really weird today". it's clear the staff is too busy socializing in the back room instead of serving the customer. in all it took us 1 hour and 17 minutes to get a beer and a quick bite of food. the service nd the food were equally horrible. id give them a minus 5 stars if I could. we won't be back!! read more
