Stopped her for breakfast dinner with my daughter and grandson. The service was poor. She acted like she didn't want to serve us at all even though there was only 5 customers in the place. She was slow and gave us the wrong bill. The place looked worn down and outdated. My food was cold and the fruit was not fresh. I will not be coming back.

Even as an 'adult' I still love the flavored syrups on every table!

Their are a couple primary reasons I still dig IHOPs all these years later. The first reason greets you at every table - the flavored syrups. Loved'em as a kid and still look forward to the options to this day. Another reason is the crepes and while I worship the classic Swedish crepes, I've recently discovered the Classic Breakfast Crepe - with eggs, ham and bacon stuffed in and atop a couple smothered crepes! I have to gig them in one regard. I'm OK with people besides my server assisting where it makes sense. I'm OK with manager-types hovering about for 'quality control'. I'm even OK paying the bill at the table. But for God's sake, scrap the digital program that turns tables blinking red when you dally too long, forcing the server to come collect like an embarrassed grim reaper. The good outweighs the bad, especially when you factor In your personal pot of coffee instead of just a cup and what is usually consistent food and service...it's not quite Cracker Barrel, but, it's warm, it's clean and unless you are out in the interstates, it's usually closer.

The only thing I positive that I can say is that my server was nice. The other reviews are pretty much on point. Also, the food was cold.

We had to ask for extra sauce, and they were missing the sour cream that was shown in the menu picture. The portions were also very small for the price. The service was extremely slow. It took about 15 minutes before our server came to take our drink orders, and our food took a long time to arrive. We also had issues with a coupon that wouldn't scan. The server had to get the manager, who said she couldn't honor it because it was " old and too big of a discount" even though it was on the app and only offered us $2 off instead. We also had a $5 gift card that was forgotten when the bill was brought out, and we had to ask for the manager again to have it corrected. Overall, this was a frustrating experience with slow service, disappointing food, and unnecessary issues at checkout. Unfortunately, this visit did not live up to the experiences we've had here in the past. And people came in way after us and left way before us so we don't know why they were not taking care of our table.

It was fine, though the cocktail sauce could have used a little more horseradish. The basket of warm bread and whipped butter was great. And The salads were excellent (we went for a standard greens salad and a Caesar salad). For the main dish, we each ordered a bacon wrapped filet, medium rare, with Brussels sprouts. The filets were prepared as directed, but seemed dry, tough and flavorless. Disappointed. But worse was the Brussels sprouts (one of our favorites). The sprouts were hard, woefully undercooked and crunchy. Not in a good way. The flavor was lost in the rough texture. Very disappointed. The staff seemed a little flustered too. Brought a side a sautéed onions when we'd ordered mushrooms. Too bad, as we had enjoyed our pasta meals before and had expected a steakhouse to perform better.

We're pretty familiar with what they used to, and are trying, to be and while we have come to expect lofty goals, it seems like the longer in the tooth this place gets, the more they lose focus. Our most recent Valentines visit reinforced this with some disappointing bar service and a 'special featured' appetizer that took our disappointment to the next level. I get that on a busy night like Valentines, stuff happens, but in this case it was still relatively early (5:30 pm) and they had more than enough employees, it's just that those workers constantly stepped on each other, ignored customers for lengthy stretches, and missed a few details that used to come naturally at this place. Combine that with food delivery confusion and a complete fail on the supposed special feature of "sealed scallops with risotto" app and it left us feeling unfulfilled on what should have been a romantic visit. The next time they offer the scallop app, we strongly suggest they actually do more than wave one side of the scallop over a lukewarm-warm pan (nothing that resembles a 'sear') and figure a way to cut the greasiness of the garlic rice dollops without covering everything in pea tendrils such that you don't notice the lack of sear marks and oily pooling. We give the place three stars based on the still modern and comfortable decor, nice ambiance, robust cocktail & beer selection and the execution of the Tuna Tartare - still one of the lady's favorite bites in town. Perhaps it's just a management/training issue, but it touches both the kitchen and the floor and will hopefully be addressed before our next visit.

We had a reservation so we were seated promptly at a large table in its own little alcove in the back. While the place was busy, we could chat comfortably with one another and felt adequately separate from other tables. The menu has a bit of everything, so everyone should be able to find something they like on it. We started with cocktails, mozzarella sticks, and pretzel bites. The cocktails were good but I could've used less sweetness in mine. The mozzarella sticks and pretzels bites were standard, which means they were great as usual. For a group of 5 of us, an order of each was enough to hold us over until the main meal. I personally got the fish sandwich for my dinner with fries. The fish was great and large enough that it hung over the sides of the bun. My only complaint about the sandwich was the lack of tartar sauce on it. The cook must have just added the smallest dash, as the only sign it was there was a little spot of discoloration on the bun. The fish was good but the sandwich would have been better with more moisture from that tartar. The fries it came with were standard shoe string fries. Nothing special but hit the spot all the same. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their meals as well and we left comfortably full with no leftovers. Overall the meal came at a good pace, the atmosphere was nice, and the prices were reasonably. If in town again we would come back here.
