We had a party of 18 celebrating graduation and our service and food was outstanding! Chicken and waffles 9/10 Steak and eggs 9/10 Scrambled eggs with turkey sausage and hashbrowns 8/10 Skillet 9/10 Expresso cappuccino was outstanding 10/10 Blueberry cheesecake, pancake pancakes 7/10 way too much blueberries and cream cheese. The ratio of pancake to the blueberries and cream cheese did not match. Our waiter was absolutely amazing. He took care of our every needs, including those that were being very particular. I asked for sourdough bread and they actually had it! The ambience was modern upscale and they had this amazing experience where they brought over edible bubbles to the table very charming and interesting twist - the waiter would shoot the bubbles up in the air from a machine and then you'd have to catch them in your mouth. Overall great experience, excellent food, and not heavy on the wallet. If I were in town again, I definitely would make a pitstop at Egg Republic.

Spicy Bloody Mary

Visited on a Sunday morning, we tried to use the on line wait list but it wasn't taking names at the time. When we arrived we were quoted a 20 min wait for a table for 2 with 7 parties in front of us and we ended up being seated after about 15 minutes. Ordered a spicy Bloody Mary and it was just meh, not very spicy at all. The fig omelet was very good, very fluffy with havarti cheese, scallions, and honey, topped with prosciutto, and fig jam. The fig jam added a very nice sweetness to the omelette. The traditional egg breakfast was nothing special, eggs were a little dense, and hash browns had no distinct flavor. Food came quickly once ordered but the service was a little slow although that could have been to it being a very busy time.

The Corned Beef Hash was homemade and nice, but I wish it also included some onions and peppers to kick it up a notch.

Good breakfast. There is always a wait to be seated, even on a Monday. Don't let them fool you and claim that you'll be seated soon. You'll wait at least 25 minutes on a good day, and up to an hour on a busy day. One of the biggest problems is that they don't have any 2-top tables. So you have one or two people sitting at 4-top tables. The Corned Beef Hash was homemade and nice, but I wish it also included some onions and peppers to kick it up a notch. The pancakes were average. Next time I'll try a different egg dish and I'll try the waffles as they looked pretty good as a trio of small discs. My wife loved the Chilaquiles. However she noted that unlike the menu description, it actually came with green sauce and chunks of chicken. The coffee was average. They have a fun robot that brings the food to the tables.

Classic Eggs Benedict with Hash Browns

We were warmly welcomed by our server, Savanah R. She continued to stop by to check in on us throughout our breakfast. The food we received was both very beautifully presented and more importantly quite delicious. My wife had the Classic Eggs Benedict with Hash Browns. I ordered the Southern Platter; a wonderful meal containing fried potatoes, green peppers, onions topped with two biscuits and gravy, and eggs of your choice. I chose scrambled. When you do stop by for breakfast or brunch watch for the robot delivering to the larger tables. It's quite amusing.

This place is awesome for your breakfast needs, great food, friendly employees and affordable too. This place gets super busy so come in as early as you can to avoid waiting.

Annoyingly delusional prices but egg inflation or something, Egg Republic? More like Egg Axis! Oh well, the thumping music called us to the bar, as there wasn't anywhere else to sit and a twenty minutes wait for regular tables. My friend and I tried to order beverages but fourteen big ones for a mimosa? No wonder Illinois legalized that plant stuff! I'd need medication dropping thirty bucks just for a couple bubbly flutes. Again oh well, the trance tunes played on and he went for the French omelet and me the shrimp and grits. This place hustles something fierce. None stop action and piles of bar beverages moving all directions, they could sponsor some food banks just with a live feed of the barista. Our entrees showed up as full eye candy, look at those photos, as men do we both went quiet to savor. It's all the right stuff. Of course way small for these prices, don't forget that obnoxious Bloomington twelve percent restaurant tax. I'm glad I live in Indiana, until I save up for round two that is!

Lavender mimosa, green juice, and coffee

Charming modern farmhouse aesthetic - light wood, black and white accents. There are sound dampening features which is great! The servers are friendly and energetic. The food - lavender mimosa is delicious, crisp and refreshing. Green juice is fresh and bright. The bacon adds s crispy and flavorful element. my sister had a skillet that did not look greasy, but did evoke moans of joy. I had avocado toast and it was good n only complaint was that the whites of the poached eggs were not set. Would definitely return to this restaurant.

Egg Republic was very impressive. Great food, service, and cute spot overall. Tried: Republic Combo with Caramel Pecan French Toast, caramel macchiato Loved: the combo, and the French toast especially. The caramel pecans on the French toast made it a great dish The food was served almost instantly. It was quiet and early in the morning, but service was fantastic. Super modern decor for the ideal "picture perfect" brunch spot Liked: The caramel macchiato flavor Disliked: The caramel macchiato mug was only half full which felt incomplete and not worth the price

Chicken Fried Bacon (it comes with four pieces but one got grabbed before I took the shot)

I always enjoy a cheap, greasy-spoon diner breakfast, but there's something special about taking breakfast to the next level. That's what you get at Egg Republic - a high-end, amazing breakfast. There are great house specials, including shakshuka, chilaquiles, and avocado toast. They also have a full range of basic egg breakfasts, omelets, skillets, pancakes, etc. We started with the Chicken Fried Bacon - breaded and fried bacon covered with sausage gravy and chives. Wow! I've never had anything like it, and it rocked! For my main course, I got the Shrimp and Grits - rich and decadent but topped with wonderful sauteed vegetables that balanced it out. My friend got The Clover skillet, which was full of chunks of the most tender and flavorful corned beef. Service was friendly with regular coffee refills, and the place was comfortable for eating and talking. I'll be back.

And to the egg republic... for which it stands... Tim picked this place out for our day in Bloomington. Admittedly, I haven't kept up with new places in Bloomington and never heard of this place. But it struck Tim's fancy so that's where we headed and what a pick it was. Walking in, the place seemed very upscale and modern. It has that open air seating area where it gets a bit loud when it's fairly busy. That's a bit of a problem Tim and I had while sitting there, talking and trying to order food. Tim got one of the specials listed on a sign by the door and I got the s'mores pancakes. Looking around, I think I was in for a pleasant surprise as everyone's food looked delicious and plentiful. When our food finally came out, I was glad I didn't order any sides due to the sheer size of the pancakes. It was almost as large as the place and there were three of them. A gentleman at the table next to us looked over and asked, "Are you going to eat ALL that food?!" to which I replied, "Well, I am sure going to try". In contrast to whatever Tim ordered (some kind of breakfast sandwich), I had enough food for a day and a half. The pancakes didn't come with any syrup and after a few bites without it, I knew I would have to ask for some. His meal in comparison looked like a side next to my pancakes. I am guessing syrup isn't usually served with this specific dish as the waiter didn't seem perplexed that the syrup was missing. As good as the pancakes were, there needed to be more than the chocolate drizzle to moisten them up. Once the syrup was added, I went to town until the halfway point when my stomach tapped out. It was just so good and so filling but more than I could put down which is rare since I usually can clear my plate without a struggle. I knew continuing would be dancing with the devil as we still have a full day of traveling around and I didn't want to be miserable for that. The pancakes were only $10, which is a hell of a deal for how big they were. Tim's sandwich was only $12. For how upscale and fancy the place feels, the food is very affordable and reasonable. I will definitely be spreading the word about this place to anyone I know who visits Bloomington and needs recommendations. I was still full from my meal by the time we got done exploring and headed back home. Can't beat that for $10.
