I love having these guys as support. Setting up new laptops with your specific company information and systems is easy and worry free. I have not had an issue getting someone on the phone when I need something urgently, and everyone is always nice to talk to. They even try to help when you have unique IT related questions or need unique software requirements in order to do your work more efficiently. For example, I was in need of a specific pdf software that had more specificity when it came to converting excel documents to PDF. They went out of their way in order to accommodate me and took it upon themselves to continue to research options for me. They also make sure that all of our computers are backup up regularly so if there are any issues, we are able to securely obtain our data. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for IT support for small to large size companies. read more

Ignition is the best IT firm I have ever worked with in my 10+ year career. As a director of an environmental non profit, we needed to have tech support but could not afford a package with all the "bells and whistles." Noam and his team worked with us to find an appropriate package with a great level of service. The onboarding process was fast and efficient (even despite the IT mess our last provider left us with) and Noam and his team are quick to respond to every email, service request and frantic phone call they have received from us.  Everyone we have worked with (Mitch, Cyan, Ella, Matt, SJ) has been extremely friendly and knowledgeable.  They have helped us with larger projects like bringing our server onto the cloud (because its no longer 1994) as well as smaller projects like making sure our computers are up to date. Not everyone at our organization is particularly tech savy and they have spent countless hours working with my team members to talk them through simple processes. As a small, cost conscious non profit we love that Ignition checks in with us as the price for a project rises and is efficient as possible while still providing excellent service. I worked with Noam and his team at Ignition in a previous job so when I became CEO of my current organization and realized we needed improved IT support I knew just who to reach out to. And I am glad I did! Ignition provides just the support we needed. They make sure all of our computers (or our fleet as they like to call it) are running properly and also monitor our applications, subscriptions, and troubleshoot all sorts of issues. We have had a few tech crises that they have handled with speed and ease. In light of the COVID-19 crisis, they helped our team swiftly transition to remote work and worked with us to make sure our bills were manageable. I lead a dual role in my position at http://bentlyholdings.com, http://bentlyreserve.com and http://kamalaspa.com - I'm the Art Director and the IT Director. This puts my consultants in the unusual circumstance of having to be 1) technically sound and 2) socially adept: so it says a lot that MacCentric has been our exclusive IT consultancy company. I've had the luxury of watching Noam, the founder of MacCentric, grow from a one many show to the president of a small business, and although the growth has been significant, the character has stayed the same. Professionally, he's the only consultant, in any aspect of our business, where I know I can rely on in a pinch. I've migrated our mac servers from Panther through Leopard, and each time I'm pulling my hair out in the migration of 300+ heavy imap users, Noam has either stayed with me for the almost weekend long extravaganza, or bailed me out when I've been the only person available at the office on a weekend early morning disaster. When I go on vacation, I call on MacCentric to be on 24 hours a day in case of need... and the poor team has had to go through with it, but they've done so with flying colors. When I've had multi-million dollar buildouts that required a second opinion in technicals, I've called MacCentric to give me their thoughts. In short, I've used them from small projects such as imac repairs, to large server rebuilds, to debates on IT-long-term plan-of-attacks. 4 years later, even after all those hours of work and documentation and everything else that comes with the IT industry, what I find even more impressive is that I now consider Noam a close, personal friend. How many executives get lucky enough to find a company that they trust as if they were their own employees, and yet still invite them to Holiday Dinner not to talk shop, but to talk life? MacCentric is one of those rare companies that seems NOT built off financial throes, but built off personality. We use MacCentric for work and it's been the best IT service I've ever used. I manage an office of about 25 people and Dina has always been incredibly responsive and patient no matter how many times I have to ask her how to reset the router or fix keychain issues. They're fantastic both remotely and on-site, and I really appreciate the tiered response approach - if things are actively on fire I've never had to wait to talk to somebody, but if it's just a password reset or something it's never taken more than a half hour or so to get a response. Can't recommend them enough! read more

I run a small business with multiple computers, laptops, Ipads, etc. Noam came in and actually spoke at a level I could understand (which usually doesn't happen with computer guys). He had the tools he needed to evaluate the health of my system and by the time he left we had a definitive action plan. I can't ask for more than that!! This is an update of my previous review. In light of more recent experience, I'm upgrading MacCentric to 3 stars. In all fairness, I'd rate the more recent experiences as 4 stars, but the comments from my earlier review were accurate as of that time, so 3 stars overall seems fair. Focusing on the recent experiences, and starting with the positive, MacCentric has been very responsive in working with me on two issues that proved very stubborn to solve. Michael Bricker worked with me to solve both issues, and he was focused, diligent and good-natured throughout what turned out to be a longer process than either one of us anticipated. Let me hasten to add that I am not blaming Michael or MacCentric for the length of time it took -- I believe it was largely due either to some quirk of my Windows 10 laptop, or else a cross-platform issue between it and our Mac server. My only quibble is that it appears to me that Michael - and MacCentric in general - have more in-depth knowledge of the Mac OS than they do of Windows, and Windows 10 in particular. I understand that they are, as the name says, Mac-centric, but their website says "we do Windows," so it seems fair to expect an equal level of expertise on both platforms. read more

Our small non-profit has been using MacCentric since 2006, when they helped us set up Parallels on our Macs so that we could access Windows for certain programs. They really know their stuff! They respond quickly when you put in a request, and can work remotely on our machines when needed. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that we've had a few times in the past when follow-up after the main work was done was not thorough. Really, I would give them 4.75 stars if that was an option. I highly recommend them. Oh, and Noam has a wonderful sense of humor as well, and is always a pleasure to hear from. read more
