I want to take the time to write in and let you know about an exceptional employee you have working in your Call center, JEFF! I called in to find out information about buying a Gift Certificate and I got Jeff on the phone, and he nicely explained all of my options and he Knew exactly what came with what package. JEFF was friendly, personable and calm while I took the time to decide what I wanted to purchase. Jeff should be commended for having such excellent Customer Service and for knowing the products you offer. Thank you so much for having such qualified people working your phones, makes purchasing very easy.

Took my two younger kids to experience it. The last time I was here was to have my two youngest (6 & 7 at the time) to experience it as well. They are now early adults. Yanni was our instructor and he was fabulous..Precise instructions, friendly and attentive. The transparent walls of the wind tunnel are worn. It looks like a mixture of finger prints on the outside from spectator kids and shoe scuffs from the inside. I assume it's the same glass from my first time here. I wish they could replace it for better viewing and clearer video content from the outside. But it is what it is and overall the experience was great. My kids loved it. Yanni delivered a fabulous time for my kids. He was friendly, funny and gave clear instructions. The wind tunnel walls were worn and I assume it's from the first time the establishment opened. It was hard to see inside and take clear video from the outside. But overall it was great and I'm glad the kids had a great time so I bought them ifly tshirts. I also bought the return ifly package that was explained we couldn't get after that day. It would have to be purchased before leaving to get the discounted price. The price was a steal and I couldn't resist. The kids were raving about it and already asking "when are we coming back". If you're looking for something different to do that's fun consider ifly. Also you have to book online. Look for promotional rates if you can.

My seven year old had been dying to go indoor skydiving and since we were in the area visiting family I figured why not. I booked his flights online using the iFLY website. When we arrived, the front desk clerk was extremely congenial and made us feel welcomed. I wish I had caught my son's flight instructors name because he was very sweet to my nervous little boy. Two flights later and I left with a super happy kid and some awesome pictures. Please pass on our thanks to the staff working at 12:00 pm on 4/4. They were awesome!

My 7 year old daughter saw some movie where a kid mentioned wanting to go indoor skydiving. She doesn't even know what skydiving is but I looked into it. Sure enough iFly was close enough so in lieu of a party with the whole grade I gave her the option to have a smaller party with a few friends to go here. We got a party bus and they were belting Taylor Swift. We arrived and I left iFly takeover. I was shocked at how fearless these 6-8 year olds were! They all had SO much fun that kids who came are already talking about doing completely copycat birthday parties this year. The guy at the front desk that day was AWESOME. The booking was messed up and we didn't have the party room and pizza in our package. But he gave us the room And we just ordered in pizza. He also helped us with the photos and videos once we got home. 10/10

I bought the Black Friday Deal for 10 Flight Package Normally it's: $499.99 Online Sale Price: $275 1 $165.55 $165.55 High Flight 5 $9.99 $49.95 *** High Flight: Photo Voucher 5 $3.95 $19.75 Video Voucher 5 $7.95 $39.75 You really only need one good photo and video, yet they bundle them with the Black Friday package. It would be simpler to offer the deal for $165 alone. If you enjoy it and are comfortable with a solo 10-minute flight, you can opt for the 10-flight package at $165 for returning flyers. This offer is only available after you complete your initial flight, encouraging repeat visits. Tip: If you're interested in more flying time, indicate your interest by pointing to the sign. If there's availability, you can extend your flight time for an additional $20.00 per minute. Be sure to compare these rates with those listed online before finalizing your purchase. Note 1 flight equals one minute.

One of my little's enjoying his thrill

What a great experience for kids and adults alike. It's not for the weak or faint of heart, but if you like a fast thrill, this is the place. The main downside for me is the short time of the thrill, I could have purchased more, but I had my 3 nieces and nephew and the cost adds up. The whole crew was super friendly, approachable and accommodating, especially to the little that was apprehensive and had limitations on how high she wanted to go and for them to not let go of her at all! They chat and engage with everyone as if they've known you for years! The smiles on my nieces and nephews faces were u forgettable and have made memories of a lifetime for them (they are only 12 and 9). Lastly, in addition to purchase if more time, I could have paid for the "gear upgrade" which was a helmet that had a face shield instead of a helmet and plastic goggles but opted not to as I already paid for the upgrade to go higher with the dive guide at $20 per person. The regular helmet and goggles worked just fine for the minute they were in there. Overall, great place to experience as a family or give as a gift!

    Nope.

I came here with my friend and we literally booked a spontaneous skydive appointment. The nerves were definitely skyrocketing but I'm so glad I had a really good tandem partner that I could rely on. The front desk lady Paige was super chill, very nice, and she gladly took some pictures of us after our dive. If you come, make sure you bring a good jacket/hoodie with you or else it does get pretty cold all the way up in the air. You're going to put all your stuff away in a locker until after you land back on ground. I can honestly say that the scariest thing about this jump is probably once the door opens, but after that it feels like bliss as you're being carried by the wind. I thought I was gonna get that stomach drop feeling, but I didn't feel it at all which was weird! You literally don't feel the nerves as you're freefalling and it was amazing with the views. All I could focus on was trying to look okay for the camera aha Huuuuge shoutout to my tandem partner Petro Portela!!! He made me feel so comfortable from the flight up and to my jump down. And thank you for keeping me safe. That was wild and crazy fun. especially with the canopy spins in the air! Definitely a 10/10 experience in a lifetime and I would totally do that again in the future.

Can finally check off skydiving from my bucket list!…read more My friends and I came here twice but were only able to skydive once. The first time we came was when there was a fire incident (not their fault), causing the airport to be shutdown. Thankfully, we were able to jump the second time we came. Upon arriving, you are required to fill out a waiver and watch a video about safety and onboarding. If you are over 200 lbs, be prepared to pay $1 per lb. The first time we came, the person helping us said that we could decide to purchase the photos/videos after recording them, since we were unsure whether we wanted them. The second time we came, they didn't allow us to do that and made us pay upfront. When we came to skydive, they were quite behind schedule. Our reservation was at 12 pm, but we didn't start until 1 pm. They can only bring up 2 people at a time due to the size of the plane, so if you're coming with a large group, expect to go in pairs. Each pair took around 30-45 minutes; we finished all our jumps around 2:45 pm. The skydiving experience itself was AMAZING! My instructor was Gus, who was super chill and explained to me all the instructions. I loved his enthusiasm and he made me feel so calm yet excited to jump. Greg is the other instructor, and he is also very detailed in his explanations. The plane ride up was smooth, although it's a bit tight and there are no seats. You get a nice view of the city and north bay once you're up in the air. You climb up to around 9000 in altitude, before the first person goes in their tandem skydive. At the end of your skydive, you get a certificate. If you want to get a skydiving license, you have to dive 25 times, and this counts as one of the dives. If this is your first time skydiving, I'd encourage you to get the video/photos to look back on. The whole thing goes by so fast. The video was a bit cringe to film and watch back, but I don't have any regrets getting it. It is $100 if you want either video or photos or $140 for both. The photos are just stills from the video, so it's bit pricey to pay an extra $40 on top for both. Overall, I had a fun time skydiving with Skydive Golden Gate. The instructors and staff were great, and the whole experience was thrilling and certainly gave me an adrenaline rush. The main downsides were the delays in schedule and the pricing for photos/videos. That being said though, I would still come back here and jump again!

There were 2 other attendees other than my boyfriend and myself, so our class was a total of 4 people, all of us beginners. One person had taken classes before, but was doing more lessons in order to get his hang 1 license. Mike starts the class by introducing himself and teaching us some safety lessons. We put together the hang glide together as a group, and he teaches us the different parts of the hang glide and how they work together. Then, we roll the glider up a small hill and he gives us some pointers on how to approach the lesson and what to do what we start running and once the glider starts taking off! The lesson was from about 8am to noon. Mike REALLY works for the money he makes during these lessons - he is running up and down the hill, and coordinating to make sure that everyone gets plenty of time on the hang glide. His passion for this sport is palpable, and it's clear he is friends with all the other folks at the area / park that morning who are regular hang gliders. This is a really fun activity to do on a weekend morning, not to mention the VIEWS are amazing. Attaching some photos as proof! When you first walk in, the staff warmly greets you and you go through a quick 2 min debrief with some jokes before heading on the plane. They give you plenty of opportunities to take pics before, during and after the flight. Although the seaplane tour we went in says 60min, it was a little over an hour and I enjoyed every bit of it. The pilot was pretty knowledgeable on certain landmarks and locations. The views were amazing, and being in such an intimate plane was truly a different experience - I was finally in the plane instead of being a pedestrian looking up at one. Weather really matters - so plan accordingly. Our day was so clear the pilot claimed you were able to see Lake Tahoe and Truckee's snow capped mountains! My one complaint was that the headphone instructions weren't super clear, so I couldn't talk to my partner verbally.
