My experience was completely different from what those high ratings might lead you to expect. BEWARE: Undisclosed Aftermarket Screen, Bait-and-Switch Experience, and Zero Accountability I paid for a screen repair at this third-party phone repair vendor inside Walmart without being told beforehand that an aftermarket screen would be installed. After the repair, my phone's display was extremely blurry and caused discomfort to my eyes. I paid to have my phone repaired, yet the screen I received made it difficult and uncomfortable to use. When I raised the issue, the technician apologized and explained that only aftermarket screens were available. He then told me he could order and install a better screen for another $100. His other suggestion was for me to find another repair shop, obtain a quote, and bring it back so he could use that quote to install a better screen. Let that sink in. I had already paid for a repair, yet I was expected to research other shops and negotiate just to get an adequate screen. Why wasn't the screen quality disclosed before the repair? Why was I quoted without being clearly informed of what I was actually getting? Customers deserve to make that decision BEFORE the work is done. The lack of professionalism didn't stop there. I was promised my phone would be ready by 2:00 p.m. and that I'd receive a text message. No text ever came. At 5:00 p.m., I called myself and was casually told my phone was ready. I had to chase them down for information instead of receiving the promised notification. When I sought help, customer service gave me the runaround, explaining that Walmart couldn't help because the shop is a third-party vendor. The business operates inside Walmart, but when something goes wrong, you're left trying to figure everything out yourself. The biggest issue isn't simply that I'm unhappy. It's that I wasn't informed about the screen being installed, received a blurry display that causes eye discomfort, was asked to pay another $100 for a better option, and then struggled to find anyone willing to help resolve the situation. MY ADVICE: Get every detail about the screen, its quality, and the price in writing BEFORE agreeing to any repair. Don't assume you'll receive the quality you expect, and don't assume you'll get meaningful support if something goes wrong. I paid for a repair and expected transparency, a usable phone, and accountability. Instead, I got a poor-quality screen and the responsibility of trying to fix the situation myself. She was very Frank and said that she didn't know if it could be fixed but if I was willing, she would try. I went to get my tablet which i was charged like 165$ and it was cash since she charges card a 3.7% fee .
