I have been to every coffee roaster between downtown and Carlsbad and this one is my favorite. Particularly because they make the best lattes. Perfect milk, perfect house made syrups and a great balance of expresso. This is a simple shop with a few tables, not much of a lounging place but the coffee is worth it. Friendly and quick service. I had the iced Sweet Latte and my husband got the nitro coffee. Both drinks were great; simple and just tasted good. We like checking out and supporting local coffee spots so we also bought a bag of whole beans to grind and brew at home. They roast their own beans in the back and although they have only been at this location a year and a half, they've been in the coffee game for years originally from the East Coast. They also have some branded merch for sale along with a few pastries and some refrigerated canned drinks. We'll definitely be back soon! read more

The double shot of espresso helped fuel me for the morning and their house made vanilla was excellent. The light blue and white color theme is pretty! the cashier was super sweet and recommended the vanilla latte which seems to be one of the more popular items here so I decided to give that one a try. It had a really nice aroma and coffee flavor, and I could tell that it was not watered down or had excessive amounts of ice which I appreciated. I also asked about matcha and the server said they are looking at potential options, so that's exciting since I'm more of a matcha person I'll definitely be back to try something else next time! read more

Located next door to Five Guys is this simple yet high quality coffee roaster here in Poway! They roast their own beans and also source from all over. The flavors are bold, sweet, exotic and has a rich balance. I got the vanilla latte and it's the best vanilla latte I've had! You could do a blind test and could taste the bold espresso shots and lavender fragrant. It also had the perfect amount of sweetness that wasn't overly sweet and I drank it so fast that kept me on alert all day! Will definitely come back to try the Mayan mocha and draft latte! read more

Simple, quick, and deliciously made coffee from 7am-2pm daily. Extra flavors are vanilla, chocolate ganach, dairy free chocolate, and mayan. Their specialty dairy free mocha is amazing iced, even if you aren't lactose intolerant or dairy restricted. I really appreciate the ambiance/look of the bar. This place is truly a professional and nice indie coffee shop you should try. They treat coffee seriously and make them with heart. I had a oat milk spicy chai latte, it was amazing!! It was spicy but not the spicy sauce type, but the spice which could warm up your body with cayenne pepper and ginger. I recommend this for a chilly day. My husband also liked his drink. I was the only customer in store and soon as I said "I'll have an iced vanilla latte", he quickly put my order in and flips the iPad screen for me to pay without a word. My husband and I are big coffee lovers and always looking for new and local roasters to support, so I wanted to get my husband some unground beans. I met Paul (who was super nice and helpful) and asked him for his suggestion. My husband wanted a lighter roast with fruity nodes and he recommended the Wahundura Factory which was spot on! My husband brewed some this morning and he was impressed! Although Poway isn't near us, we will definitely be coming back to get some awesome coffee!
