This update is needed since the customer service team recently reached out to me. I was brutally honest in my first review. I also firmly believe management could see a serious issues with how the business was operating when I was going in previously. The staff and management seem to have completely overhauled this place for the better. I see customers other than myself there that are happy at this location. Don't believe the hype about ideal image laser hair removal Clinics. When I first signed up with them, they told me that any touchups I need would be $50 for face and neck so when I called to set up my appointment to get a touchup they told me it was $70 so I had an appointment today at 3 PM so I get a call this morning telling me that the price went up to $269 further touchups that is not what I was told when I first started getting my treatments. So don't believe the hype when they tell you that their prices don't go up it will remain the same. I am very disappointed with this company. read more

Visited on 06/07/2022 Upon entry their was 1 sole person on the phone at front desk. She didn't bother to look up and acknowledge me all the minutes while waiting. A gentleman (the cap discriminator ) came from the office behind front desk and asked whose next? *WARNING 1* I informed him of my imprompt visit along with the services I wanted, cheeks and, smile lines filler. He stated that the woman on the line would be able to get me set with a cost when she was done. *WARNING 2* While waiting and noticing the woman is finally off the phone and engaging with the cap discriminator and another female about a guy's comment of negative service. *WARNING 3* After their meeting of the negative minds she ask how she could finally help me. THE CUSTOMER COMES FIRST!!! *WARNING 4* She and I go back and forth on the cost and promotion until finally settling on a comparable cost. After getting nurse virtual cleared she set me up with the cap discriminator. While in the room only with him he states his name, Cory and he will be my nurse. He began a series of questions and informed me to remove my baseball cap with attitude. Informing him I would turn the lid around. Nope, he stated I had to take it off. WHAT THE CLUCKS!!! ABORTED... Had contacted them two months ago in regards to a couple of questions. I explained that I work nights at a hospital so phone calls would be touch and go as I'm asleep during the day. Even still I'd wake up to call after call. This to me seemed more like a commission based job and like they were trying hard to get their sales numbers up so I opted out and decided not to use their services. I can't speak to the actual services they provide but their professionalism is severely lacking. The pictures provided are an email I received today. I wasn't going to write a review or say anything but this in addition to the previous impersonal and pushy sales tactics are enough for me. Actually Zero Star Recommendation- For starters - making an appt is a nightmare with Ideal Image. I purchased an injectables and filler package beforehand- What should have taken 1 appt took 4 "because scheduling didn't schedule enough time" or "didn't schedule the correct procedure" not to mention my 4th appt was cancelled day of - after moving my own schedule around to make the appt. One staff member asked me "do you know if they used the pink top or the purple top last time" before injecting my face bc otherwise she was going to have to look it up. Then proceeded to tell me that they were compatible products just different vendors.... Depending on location the staff is more or less unprofessional (including dirty, chipped polish fingernails- which were touching my face) but more importantly it's very clear there is significant scheduling issues which need to be addressed. I wasted months trying to move my schedule around and be seen to complete an injections package I bought only to be rescheduled twice, cancelled once and made to come back multiple times because the appt wasn't allotted adequate time. Not to mention I was trying to have this done before vacation- which actually took me over two months and the injections weren't done before my vacation and they weren't even completed before the following month before a second vacation. Extremely disappointed with BBL face procedure with Ideal Image. I went there for face dark spots treatment and did not achieve any results, i don't think the workers in there are trained enough to help achieve good results. I've seen good results at other facilities with this treatment. I initially came in just to get more information about laser hair removal but after speaking to the sales rep I was told that 99% of the hair to be gone after treatment and if I needed to come back for follow up treatments I would receive them at a discount. I felt confident and believed that I was told but it was all just a show. The last 18 months I paid over 3k for a laser hair removal (Brazilian) and didn't receive the results I expected or discussed. Of course, I know everyone's body grows hair differently and will have different results but for the amount you pay and prior consultations there shouldn't be that much of a discrepancy at the end. I made sure to bring up concerns the last 2/3 treatments that I'd believed more hair would be gone, however, one nurse took note of it and the last nurse during my treatment pretty much told me that they never guarantee 100% results are between 90-99%. She completely dismissed what I said and showed no empathy for my disappointment, tried to corrected me on a conversation I had with the sales rep which she wasn't even present for. She didn't even try to offer a solution or someone to talk to until after the session when she told me about the follow up sessions. I told her I wouldn't come back for follow up sessions and that I'd most likely go somewhere else which I did! The amount I paid I could've had triple the amount of sessions at my current place (SEV laser), better customer service and more than likely received the results I wanted and expected. Overall customer service was mediocre, expect to get someone new pretty much each treatment, the "discounted" follow ups they offer aren't really a discount. They just allow you to pick a specific area and charge you what they charge for that area instead of making you have a whole session paying the whole price. GO TO SEV LASER!!! read more

After finishing my two year treatment I noticed my hair is fully growing back. I was told that since my treatment is over I need to pay each time if the hair is not fully gone. I am super irritated because after 2 years this hair should be gone and it's not. It's fully coming back. I have spent a lot of money at this location for other services and including laser hair. Very disappointed, I even notated at my last treatment that the hair was still fully coming back to the nurse practitioner performing the laser treatment. I am outraged at the amount of money I spent and lack of results. I also was burned during a session with black and purple all over the treated area once I got home. I called to get some information about laser hair removal and ended up in some high-pressure sales pitch for an overpriced package that was supposedly "75% off", and the person I talked to tried to get me to fill out a credit application right then and there. She got very pushy when I said I needed to think about it, I felt like I was buying a car. I talked to some other reputable med spas in the area and found that the prices I was given by Ideal Image were way overpriced! And the other spas did not try to pressure me into buying a package and also informed me that I might want to wait until after summer, as you need to limit sun exposure with laser hair removal, something Ideal Image did not tell me - they were just worried about making a sale! If you are looking for a med spa in Dallas, I highly recommend OVME. They are great and all their prices are much more reasonable than Ideal Image without any "specials" or memberships. read more

I called to see what can be done, and they want $95 for each "touch up" session. After I've already paid thousands initially. Haven't done my treatments yet but their staff was super professional and very friendly. It is expensive (very expensive) but I've seen my friends results and they are A+. If you get results faster than the 9 treatments you pay for apparently you can use that as a credit to other services- which I like. All their laser techs are full NURSES which is likely is a reason for how expensive it is. Most other places do not have full nurses. Parking behind wasn't bad early on weekends but I could see it being an issue during peak retail shopping times. read more

I want to shout out Chastity at the West Village location for working so hard to get me rescheduled when I couldn't come in due to a bad cold. This company is a scam body and cool sculpting is a scam! They just want your money DO NOT trust them! Their "doctors" cleared me for this but now that I've spoken to my actual doctor he said I should not have been cleared for the service... they just wanted my money! Also I've called three separate times asking them not to charge a specific card of mine and Kendra the area manager purposefully lied to me saying they wouldn't and has done it three different times now giving me overdraft fees on that account. Ideal Image is such a rip off!! First, I have multiple friends that have used Ideal Image and recommended it to me BUT they all admit they are paying way to much. I encourage people to go shop around before you go in there. And the woman you meet for the consultation at Ideal Image pressures you to buy their "discounted" packages. I wanted to get my full bikini done and it would cost me with a special discounted price $1700. This includes nine sessions- So I asked her what if I do not need all nine do I get a discount? The response then you do not use them. WTF?! I am going to pay for sessions I may not need? How does that make sense. Right after I walked out, I called multiple places (12 others actually) who would offer the same thing for less than a $1000. At Ideal you have to pay $45 for numbing cream. Other places you don't have to pay for the numbing cream. Also they say "we are the only company that will give you added insurance after your 9 sessions and you only have to pay $65 if any of your hairs ever come back." Most other places have the same deal. I have done a few sessions somewhere else they did not rip me off and I love the results (and so does my boyfriend) plus they are doing other parts of my body for free! All in all, I encourage people to shop around and don't get sold on their phony bull shit. :) read more

I've never tried laser hair removal but I've been doing alot of research to decide where I #1 trust my body to be lasered & #2 somewhere I can afford. Ideal Image seemed competent and knowledgeable. I had a very nice consultant (Viviana). She was kind to address all of my questions at the appointment. But... They sold 9 treatment packages. Most of my research says the average is 4-7 treatments for an area. I wouldn't want to pay for unneeded sessions. I plan to do it right and do as many as it takes but I don't want to pay all this cash up front for services I might or might not even need. Also, there was an extra "discount" at the actual consult. I felt so pressured to buy that I didn't voice my opinion that the already 45% discounted rate was over 40% MORE than what I guessed it would cost. Why wouldn't I want to go several places and compare doctors, facilities, costs? Afterall it is a MEDICAL treatment. I'm not just going to the first surgeon I meet and say, "You're so nice, you can do my quadruple bypass." Ergo- I have chosen to keep them as an option for the future if I can score some extra cash, but I'm continuing to research in interview (go to consults) for several other places. read more

Didnt finish my package at this location It was so very painful even with the numbing cream And I just found out they had an extra strength numbing cream now that Im not wanting to go back Very expensive even with what they called a special offer Also this location has a habit of cancelling appointments on the same day which is a big problem because you have to put the numbing cream on in advance up to an hour before your treatment. This company promotes cool sculpting, claims to be giving a major discount, and DOES NOT disclose how difficult it is to get an appointment. They use pressure tactics when selling to get someone signed up, not giving enough time to read the items they want initials on, and when confronted at corporate level, they said they had 60 days to be able to schedule for any of their services. Eventually, the sales woman admitted the 60 days is not in writing. They could not get me in until I filed a complaint and escalated getting out of the agreement. The rep DID NOT disclose the wait period to get in, DID NOT allow ample time to read their policies before requiring initials, etc. stating I'd have enough time to look over the program. When called after filling a complaint and escalating it to leave the program, the rep suddenly had an appointment. However, I couldn't go in because I made plans. They did not disclose there could be a waiting list. The corporate rep argued and wouldn't let me speak. This company is expensive, grossly over sold per their ability to schedule appointments, and unprofessionally tried to cover their tracks. Beware of Ideal Image Spas. Their Dallas, TX area spas are in Plano, Garlands, Colleyville, and For Worth. read more

I started getting laser hair removal treatments here back in February on my underarms and Brazilian. Everyone has always been great but Today I had my second treatment with one of the nurses, Princess. She was so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. She made nice conversation that helped keep my mind off what was happening, which was nice. Maybe it was my imagination but I swear my treatment was less painful with her. I did a lot of thinking before I walked into Ideal Image for coolscupting. I lost over a hundred pounds and I couldn't seem to get rid of the pouch around my middle, no matter what I tried. I run 40 miles a week on average and I lift 5 days a week. I felt like I should look better. I looked at medical options and liked the idea of something non-invasive. I walked into the office and everyone is very nice. The receptionist brought me to Nick, who swore up and down that I was the "PERFECT candidate" for coolsculpting. I wasn't looking to lose weight, just an inch or two off my middle and maybe jump start my way into a smaller body fat percentage. I'm active and eat right. This was confirmed by a nice technician who marked me up like a sorority girl during Hell Week. So, with a little bit of thought, I agreed to the $6K plus price tag and scheduled my appointment. They warned me it would be uncomfortable during the process. They were right. They warned me there would be a few odd weeks of numb + pain. They were mostly right. It was several weeks of an odd numb that resulted in discomfort when something pressed against the area (like a belt buckle or button to a pair of pants). The pain faded about four weeks later, the numbness stuck around until almost two months later. They warned me swelling would occur. Also correct. The swelling was immediate and resulted in an extra two inches around my middle that hasn't gone away, 90 days later. My trainer measures me with calipers and there's been no change in my body fat percentage and no significant change to my weight since the treatment. I was the PERFECT candidate and my results were negative, suggesting the treatment works on a inconsistent basis at best, and is a sham at worst. When I called to cancel my follow up, they were nice. A manager called me and agreed to refund me the cost of the two cycles I had remaining in my package, although I haven't seen that processed yet. Based on other reviews, I'll believe it when I see it. Apparently, in this case my "ideal image" was a combination of 2 inches of extra waist line, $6000 bucks I won't get back, and feeling like a fool. P.T. Barnum did say there's a sucker born every minute. Update: I thought I'd done this already but my outstanding balance was credited for two cycles within a few weeks of my original post date. read more

Love this place!! I'm in the process of doing laser hair removal on my legs & armpits and I've had nothing but a great experience. It is painful but that is to be expected. Other than that, the staff has been wonderful and so kind. Leslie is my favorite nurse here and I highly recommend her. She knows so much and is so accommodating plus she has 20 years of experience! This place is indeed the shadiest business I have ever came across. I was to get a treatment in July-August for my wedding and was told the price was going to be 169 per month with all the discounts she gave me. Boom first I was never scheduled after being told I would have an appointment in two day, they tried to schedule me a whole month after my wedding for an area I did not select. They raised the price to 324.00 per and I was completely just blown away. I informed them that the service was not needed they proceed to tell me I can get my arms or legs done ... I was not interested in anything they were offering so I refused. I get a call after I canceled the service and was told I can't cancel so they tried to steal the money from my account by asking my bank for another price other than the price I blocked them from taking. It worked so my bank paid them and later refunded me after learning of their scam. I noticed recently that my bank reversed the credit to my account, after investing we discovered they informed my bank that they refunded me (lies) my bank looked into in and determined they lied again. I get a call today from a credit card company who says they are trying to collect a debit from me for a credit card I never used or possessed. The company then goes on to tell me that they paid IDEAL IMAGE $2000 and that I need to contact them and have them return the money since I never received any services. This company is legit a piece of crap and be careful because I now have to pay for a lawyer to start proceedings. read more

William is single-handedly carrying the customer service of this office. Technicians are great, but operationally, there are some glaring issues. When I've called frustrated regarding those issues, William has always handled my needs quickly, with respect and with a politeness not found in most places these days. Hats off to this dude. Whatever he's being paid, double it. The techs are thorough, sympathetic, and efficient. But, 3 stars for the upper management for disorganization -- nothing seems to be streamlined in this place and it affects the customers (who are paying an ass-ton for treatments). read more

Customer service at this location flat out STINKS. I live 1/2 mile away from the Uptown Dallas location and even work in downtown Dallas but the chances I visit this location EVER again is 0%. I came here 8 years ago for my 6 initial treatments and now I am using my lifetime maintenance touch ups and I am happily driving to Plano location for these. The customer service, experience, knowledge and friendliness of Plano location is a 180 degree difference. Excuse after excuse, forgotten returned phone calls, new management, new employees, nurse/ doctor numbing cream sign off took over a week, receptionist needs a training course on her job and what customer service is. This is a long review but I had to get it off my chest and let everyone known my view on Ideal Image. They don't deserve a star! I'd like to share with you my experience with Ideal Image. I first heard about it from my sister who uses them in another state. When I asked cost she couldn't let me know because fortunately for her she's in a business where she endorses the product. My teenage daughter then told me that she heard it being endorsed on one of our local radio stations. So my first step was to call and schedule an appointment for a consultation. In my initial contact I asked if they could give me a ballpark of what the cost might be. I'm thinking I don't want to even waste my time or theirs if it's something I can't afford. They were no help with that info and said I'd have to go in for consultation to get that information. Okay, no problemo! So I take the time during my lunch yesterday to go over to Uptown for appointment. They were very nice when I arrived and quick to see me. A light bulb should have went off in my head when another lady that was there before me was discussing how should would receive her "invoices" and mailing in her payment(s). I didn't think anything of it. So the consultant takes me into one back room to show me where procedure(s) would be done and to discuss areas I'd like to focus on. After our discussion we go into another room... She shows me pics of different areas and does more explaining on procedure. She then gives me an application to fill out with all of my info and medical history and tells me while I do that she'll start plugging in numbers. So I then ask "is my head going to explode once you give me those numbers?" Her response is "well just know that you will be hairless for 50 years". While I'm completing paperwork I ask "Are there any promotions or any type of discounts you offer?" She replies "oh, so I take it they didn't tell you about the 50% off discount during the consultation?" and of course I let her know they did not. So she then hits me with the whammy! The options are a payments ranging from $200(+/-) - $400(+/-) for 36 months, 24 months or 48 months with the no interest on the 24 or 48 month plans. I'm like "WHOA this is a car payment...I'm going to need some time to think about this." And please note...these are the payments AFTER the 50% off for signing up during your consultation WHICH I knew nothing about. So I continue to stare at the paper trying to make sense of these numbers and she proceeds to ask "would you like to see if you qualify for the interest free rate now?" So I then let her know how I wasn't prepared for these numbers and definitely not prepared to commit to something like this. I scheduled this appointment to get questions answered...I thought it was "a consultation". So as I gather me things and we say our good-bye's I lean over to pick up the handwritten paper she wrote the options out on and she then says "you can't take the paper with you". I'm like "what?" She explains that if I take the paper with me without signing up I can come back in and say these are numbers that were quoted to me during my consultation. At that point I get out of there as fast as I can! When I get in my car I think...I can't wait to call my sister and let her know to be THANKFUL she's endorsing the product and then think why I hear SO MANY advertisements/endorsements on the radio! I then think to myself, clearly if I didn't sign up for the service at that time I would not be receiving the 50% off consultation promo so there could be no actual harm done with them letting me take the paper. But the harm in it is that I was not actually able to leave and think about making the investment with them. I then thought I should have been petty because they now have all my information...I forgot to take my application with me! read more
