I've had several laser hair removal treatments (I'm one of the lucky people with extremely stubborn hairs and a lot of them). I haven't had to do any touch ups and it's been over 8 years since I've finished treatments. I've been receiving tattoo removal treatments for a couple of years now (not nearly as consistently as I should though)! The two that she has been treating have faded considerably. Both were very old and very dark and I didn't have much hope that they would lighten very much. Boy was I wrong. They have faded so much that some of the line work has disappeared completely. Initially I went into it just hoping that she could lighten them up enough to have coverup pieces done over them. At this rate, they might actually be completely removed! Amazing. Today I just received my first IPL session to correct redness and some melasma. I expected it to be uncomfortable (it was not at all). She prepared me that it may feel like a minor sunburn afterwards and I may notice some redness and swelling. It's been several hours and I haven't experienced any of those things. Siobhan is basically magical at what she does. All of these treatments are an investment for sure, but laser treatments are definitely not where you want to skimp. To my dismay, I learned this clinic attempted to charge me an $85 cancellation fee for not following through with their "treatment" (extremely predatory practice, especially since I said I'd contact my dermatologist for medical advice before moving forward with any treatments). Seattle Aesthetic Laser is trying to falsely claim I "cancelled" my appointment, or didn't show up, when nothing could be further from the truth. I engaged in extensive consultative dialogue with the provider spanning the course of DAYS. The only way I could get out of the cancellation fee is by agreeing to a different form of treatment their clinic offers (surprise, surprise). Obviously, I told my card issuer to reject the charge as fraudulent, but on principle, a respectable clinic would never treat patients this way or try this scam.

I get a little miffed when I read through reviews and see things that I think are just plain silly. I apologize if this is long winded. Like people leaving reviews when they state they never had a service and chose to leave before even completing a consult??? Wha??? I frequent a lot of restaurants, shops, and spas. I take research and info out there very seriously. What I am looking for in a reviews, are facts and the quality of the service. I did a TON of research before deciding on Ideal Image for my treatments. What I keep seeing as I read reviews, are opinions and assumptions and not a lot of facts by people who didn't even purchase here. Here are things that I found important after consulting many professionals and several hair removal consults: -The laser and type of tech - They use medical laser, not an IPL or Diode. 5 minutes of research online will tell you that a medspa running cheap deals on an IPL can not produce the same long term results as the medical laser used at Ideal. You get exactly what you pay for! I was happy to pay a little more for the best technology on the market and to only have nurses and nurse practitioners completing treatments on me. -Hair type and color- No laser in the world can treat light or fine/soft hair. Laser only works on dark hair with thick texture. Expecting all of your hair on your body to be 100% gone is unrealistic. My goal was to remove the horrible irritation and ingrowns that I used to get with shaving and waxing. I have mostly dark hair, a few light, and used to get hives when I would shave my legs and bikini. After my first treatment, so much coarse hair was removed that I was able to shave comfortably again for the first time in YEARS. It took about 8 weeks for any hair to start coming in again, but then it was time for my next treatment. After the second one, I really only had to touch up a few spots with a razor right before the treatments, per the nurses instructions. I have to say that laser hair removal saved my life. I used to be in tears at the discomfort I experienced from the shaving process. The biggest thing for me was what they call their Lifetime Membership. I was impressed that they were the only company that offered a written agreement to me to back up their work. That sends a clear message to me if a company were not willing to back up their work. I did 5 consults and not a single other place had as much knowledge on the science of hair and skin as Ideal had. I found their consultant to be pleasant and helpful. I had some financing concerns and they were able to help me figure out a plan around them. I'm now 7 treatments in and can say that I am at almost complete removal. I have good expectations of the little blonde hairs and can say that I would recommend this clinic to everyone. On a side note, I just tried Botox for the first time here and I really love it! I'm a big baby when it comes to needles and was really nervous. The nurse practitioner talked me through it and I've been really happy since not having that deep wrinkle in the middle of my forehead! :) read more

I was a little skeptical after reading other reviews, however, I was really impressed with my experience here. The staff was easy to deal with, friendly, and very professional. I went in for a brazilian hair removal and felt so well taken care of that was thrilled that this is where I decided to go. Yes, it hurts, but it's suppose to, and it hurts MUCH less then waxing. I never felt rushed, was comfortable enough to ask any weird question that popped into my head, and they were very thorough. It is on the expensive side of laser treatments, but it uses a more effective technology than the standard IPL lasers. The laser has to be administered by a registered nurse, and as a result the administering staff was super knowledgeable. I would rather spend more initially than have to repeatedly buy more follow ups because the hair was never fully eradicated. I would recommend this facility to those who are looking for more effective results than you can get with laser systems available through groupon deals. But like most things, be prepared to pay for a different level of quality. read more

Ideal is a complete and total rip off. I can't believe it's even legal for them to be in business. Cool sculpting did not work for me at all. I don't believe there's any evidence of how it even is supposed to work. Where does the fat go? I was getting fillers there and happy with that. But then they started trying to upsell me and tell me they couldn't do certain procedures with the fillers that they had already done in the past. In the end they let the last syringe of my fillers expire and wanted me to spend another thousand dollars. What a rip off! They should be shut down. read more

During that…read moretime, I spent thousands of dollars on services, paid for my treatments, and even referred three new clients because I genuinely believed in the practice. Unfortunately, my experience over the past year completely changed my opinion. During one Botox appointment, I was treated by an injector named Matt instead of my usual injector, Layla. The results were unacceptable. My smile became noticeably crooked, and the tendons in my neck protruded whenever I smiled. When I brought these concerns to the owner's attention, I felt they were dismissed. Rather than acknowledging that the injection/injector technique may have contributed to the outcome, I was told I might simply need a different product, such as Dysport. My concerns about the quality of the injection/injector itself were NEVER meaningfully addressed. After that experience, I made it clear that I only wanted Layla to perform my injections because she consistently provided excellent results. Shortly afterward, Layla left the practice. Before she left, I had prepaid $1,000 to bank future Botox treatments. Once she was no longer with the practice, I requested a refund because I no longer felt confident receiving injections from the remaining injector based on my previous experience. My refund request was denied due to the practice's no-refund policy. While they did offer to let me use the credit toward other services such as facials, that was not what I had purchased the credit for, nor did it address the reason I wanted the refund in the first place--I no longer trusted the injector who would be performing my Botox. What disappointed me most was not simply the policy itself, but the unwillingness to work with a loyal client of 10 years. I believed my long history with the practice, my referrals, and the amount I had spent there would have warranted some flexibility or a customer-focused solution. Instead, I felt the relationship I had built over a decade was valued less than enforcing a $1,000 policy. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe prospective clients should know that if your preferred provider leaves and you lose confidence in the remaining staff, you may still be locked into prepaid services with no option for a refund. That experience has permanently changed my opinion of this practice. I have found a different Medi spa and caution prospective customers of Kucumber to be aware that management does not value your relationship if situations go awry. Financial gain is paramount to them coupled w cash flow issues.

I came in for simple fillers and explicitly told the receptionist my absolute maximum budget was $2,000.The moment they found out I had a CareCredit card, everything changed. While the injector was actively preparing the products, the receptionist started rapidly spitting out numbers, packages, and information. It happened so fast in a high-pressure environment that I was in total shock and couldn't process what was happening. At checkout, they told me my total was $8,000. I was young, shy, and so overwhelmed that I froze and didn't know how to speak up.To make it worse, because of the massive unexpected balance, I couldn't pay it off before the CareCredit promotional period ended. Even though I never missed a single monthly payment, the deferred interest tacked on an extra $4,000. A routine $2,000 visit cost me $12,000 in total. They completely took advantage of me, and it looks like their high-pressure sales tactics haven't changed. Please be incredibly careful coming here, especially if you have financing.

Terrible! I went to…read morethis place for a Sofwave treatment last Thursday. First, doctor Jiang quoted me $2,100 without ever telling me that doing just the face costs less than face plus neck. The nurse later asked me, "Do you want full face, or face and neck?" That's when I found out there was a price difference -- something the doctor did not explain to me. I only wanted my face done. I asked the nurse, and she honestly told me yes, the price would be lower without the neck. She was truthful. The doctor was not. Here's the thing: I didn't say anything at the time because I didn't want the nurse to get in trouble with her boss for telling me the truth. I stayed silent out of kindness -- to protect an honest employee. And I ended up paying whatever the doctor asked me. But after I left, I felt being deceived, this is not acceptable. And it gets worse. During the actual treatment -- while the doctor was holding the device on my face -- she was on WeChat, talking to her staff. She was literally multitasking while performing an important procedure on my face. This is beyond unprofessional. It's disrespectful, careless, and frankly, I have never seen any doctor work like this anywhere. Ever.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PACKAGE OR TREATMENT FROM LASERAWAY…read more I purchased a package for hair removal of 3 areas during the Winter of 2025. This included a down payment and recurring monthly payments. I was able to receive a total of only two services over the span of eight months. Every time I tried to schedule an appointment, I received a notification the day before or a few days prior that my appointment was canceled due to "unforeseen circumstances." This happened SEVERAL times. I filed a dispute with the finance company and I was told I'd been denied. When I called LaserAway because I thought I should just keep trying to get an appointment booked, I was told I had no treatments left and that I'd been refunded! I've received no refund, and am told by the finance company I was only given a partial reduction. So I have 1) Not been given a refund 2) Paid $1.7k+ for just two treatments and 3) I cannot even receive the services I'm paying for. Please save yourself and go somewhere else

Went for free consultation to explore options for facial hair laser. Before I could even talk with…read moresomeone I had to fill out a form re history and vital statistics. Then was subjected to a sales presentation. Before being given the pricing, I was asked to fill out a financing form which included social security number address and all identity info. I declined the form and was told if I signed up today and today only I would have 70% off. No pressure marketing ? I think not. Leaves me wondering what the quality of the care is? There was no explanation of who and what qualifications the laser partitioner holds. Also, they do not offer lidocaine numbing cream!!! You know why? It takes minimum 10 minutes to be effective! And they don't want to budget this time. --- run away far away

I've been a patient here for ten years or thereabouts. I think the maximum time I have seen the…read moresame doctor more than once before they left the practice, I saw them twice. I was supposed to have an appointment today but realized this morning that I hadn't gotten any confirmation from them, so I called to make sure I was still on the schedule before heading over. They told me "my" doctor, a person I had not met before, had left the practice and they would not have the capacity to reschedule me. They offered to give me the number of another clinic that they're offloading patients to. They claimed I should have received a letter and a text that my appointment was cancelled. I never got a letter, and when I went back and looked, the text I received did not actually indicate to me that the person leaving the practice was my doctor. It just said that a doctor was leaving the practice and IF you happened to have an upcoming appointment with that doctor, you should call to reschedule. Needless to say, the writing has been on the wall for awhile that this is not a clinic with a future for the kind of derms patient I am (maybe, as another review surmises, they are going 100% cosmetic which means less annoyance with insurance and more money per visit), and I guess I'm glad to have had them force me out as a patient so I can find a doctor who I will actually recognize from year to year. But man, what an unprofessional way to go about it with a pretty long term patient.

I've been going to Lake Washington Dermatology for about the last 5-6 years and have been a patient…read moreof Dr. Kim's for most of that time. I have had truly nothing but great experiences with her and her office and would highly recommend her as a provider! I have been dealing with idiopathic urticaria (spontaneous hives) since 2009 and have seen many doctors and specialists who have never been able to find a solution. Then, a few years ago, I started having cold-induced hives as well, making it impossible for me to go out in the winter without breaking out in hives or even handle cold glasses and objects for too long. After no luck with increased antihistamine use, Dr. Kim prescribed me Xolair, which has been used experimentally for hives. It took a few weeks of her petitioning my insurance for use, but she got approval. Her and her team handled all of the back and forth and kept me updated throughout the process, and since I got on the medication, I have had no to minimal hive breakouts since. Then again this past year, when my employer-provided insurance changed, Dr. Kim and her team have continued to battle approvals for me and help me obtain samples while we sorting things out with insurance denials. Yvonne, a medical assistant on her team, has been extremely helpful and responsive, battling this for months now and keeping me informed and medicated in the meantime. Dr. Kim is the only person who has ever been able to help me with this condition, and her and her whole team have been nothing but professional, helpful and caring throughout my time as her patient.

My experience with Sono Bello started with the consultation visit. While I feel the staff was very…read morepleasant and professional, I was given some incorrect information. With the type of procedure I was having, I asked specifically if I had the procedure on Friday, will I be able to return to work on Tuesday? I was informed that I will have no problem returning to work. This answer led to my decision to go ahead with the procedure and schedule as quick as possible. I had the procedure. However, I was not well enough to return to work, but due to me not taking the appropriate time off work, I was forced to return or get written up. I had the procedure on Friday and returned on Tuesday. Fast forward to the consult with the nurse (same visit). They informed me it could take 3-6 months before I recover to 100%, but agreed I will be able to return to work after 3-4 days. When i returned to work, I was in no shape to perform the necessary duties and I thank God I have great coworkers because they did not hesitate to help me wherever needed. Not only that, when I went back for my 6 month follow up and informed them I was still having issues, the nurse then tells me, "Oh it can take up to a year for you to be at 100%. I am 1 month shy of it being 1 year for me and I am still having issues with my nerves not being at 100% capacity. I was also told that I will see the Physician at my 6 month appointment (last appointment before being released from care) but never saw her at that appointment. I only saw here during the consultation appointment and the day of the procedure. I advise anyone who is looking for any type of cosmetic surgery to be 100% certain it is something you want to do because the outcome just may not be what you are looking for.

Sorry for the long post .... I did not have the best experience at all. I drove 3 hours (plus 2…read moreother trips) to have lipo on my legs and stomach and Abex with skin removal. I was told I would need 3 days recovery and be back to work. I was warned that my skin was not very elastic but never expected what I got. When I got there they gave me the 'cocktail' and I felt very relaxed but awake. They took me in and started numbing the area. Not at all painful. Then with a very long cannula started to aggressively poke and prod inside my abdomen etc to put in what I assume was numbing fluid. I can't even explain how aggressively. After an hour or so of this he started removing fat. I watched the fat removal process. Oddly satisfying. But then they gave me 'a little something more' because apparently I said I was feeling things. This completely knocked me out. I was in a 5 hour procedure then I rode home with my daughter never waking. I was mumbling at times and completely drugged up. When I got home it took 3 guys to help me in the house(I only weigh 145 lbs) as I still was not at all with it. I could not support myself on my legs. After having help going to the bathroom, I was put in bed. Never waking till morning. Recovery was hard. I couldn't stand up straight for a week and even then was somewhat painful. I have a high pain tolerance. After 6 weeks I felt like it was going good. I'm now 9 months out and my stomach is flatter but lumpy and the skin is still loose. My thighs are also smaller but I now have hanging skin and dimples where the cannulas entered. My cellulite is worse now because of the lack of fat to fill it out I guess. The worst part is the Dr told me my thighs might not be perfect but they should look better then totally sold me on the more expensive and in depth procedure to 'pull everything up and tight'. And now I have to live with the significant payout for minimal results. I had no idea how hard it would be or exactly what I was getting into. They were vague and overpromised. I cannot stress enough to know exactly what you're in for. Then I asked if there is follow up tightening of skin or anything. Well of course there is.... At even more cost. Thanks but no thanks. I would not recommend any of it.
