I scheduled my appointment 3 times, and 2 out of the 3 times I showed up, they said I don't have my appointment that day but the following week. I can see how I could make a mistake and add an appointment to my calendar on the wrong date 1x time, but not 2x times. Something is going on with their scheduling software, but they blame me and don't want to take any responsibility. I keep rushing from work to get to my appointment, and now 2x, they said it's on a different date. I'm not crazy! I book appointments all the time, and this is the only company that keeps scheduling my appointment on the wrong date. I decided to cancel my appointment and asked for a refund, but the manager said she could give me a store credit but not a refund. Why would I want store credit when I was willing to pay for my appointment and canceled it because they kept scheduling it on the wrong date? I need a refund because their software is broken, and I'm not wasting my time driving to their clinic AGAIN so they can tell me it's on the wrong date. They need to fix their scheduling software and learn to take responsibility for their mistakes. Horrible customer service! read more

I really love this place. The staff are always friendly and take time to listen to your "thought process" with explanations. The chemical and laser peels are fantastic. They run specials throughout the year and they are great deals. I bundled on multiple procedures that last throughout the whole year. No complaints and highly recommend. If I can give this place a ZERO star, I would! Not sure where to start, but please make sure that you are informed about the nonrefundable policy even if you cancel their services within the 24 hours of booking the service. They failed to informed me about the nonrefundable charge over the phone. They charged me the full amount immediately after getting off the phone with them and wasn't able to refund me at all. Their customer service is horrible. Overpriced! They still email me everyday of their PDF service agreement even though i have cancelled them within 24 hours. These emails will be going into the junk box!! Do your research and make sure everything is all informed to you prior in booking the service. I was able to dispute this charge and received my full $$ through my credit card service. thank goodness! read more

I rarely write reviews. I was bombarded with review requests from the establishing, so thought to put the review here as well. I wanted to love them. I tried the discounted facial to do extractions. I mentioned that I bruise easily. The technician did not open my pores properly. Then she worked me over, leaving a 3/4 inch diameter open wound on my face that took a week to heal. during our session, the technician quoted a $250 treatment that was doubled when I arrived. After discussion- at the time of my treatment upon learning that the price doubled, they reduced the price to $410. I politely excused myself. I was quite disappointed two times. I purchased a package and was charged the incorrect amount in early September of 2017. They overcharged me by $200. I called and asked to have my account credited. Samantha from the Bellevue location. Samantha told me they were sorry I was overcharged me but could not give me the $200 credit?! She offered to give me more services instead. Not only is this illegal because they overcharged me and I did not sign the receipt for $3490 since it was suppose to be $3290. I was told by my credit card company, Kucumber Skin lounge has the ability to credit my account and I could dispute the entire charge since I hadn't even used any of the package I purchased nor had I signed the contract since the amount was incorrect. Samantha lied! I tried to handle the situation with their regional manager. Dimitri insisted she would credit my account. She never did! I called her on October 26th and she said she thought it had been done. According to my credit card they never credited me! Dimitri said she would take care of it and call me back the next day. She never took care of it and she never called back. She was extremely rude and unapologetic... I'm disputing the entire charge because, "how can I possibly trust them with my face if they're not honest. I can't trust them at all with doing the photo facial and laser treatments that were part of the package." Going into khcumber lounge is like throwing a big chunk of your money away. I was given inaccurate consultations and therefore I went in and purchased a package that is supposedly not enough of treatments. Then when I complained they said "she is not an aesthetician and is not as informed about procedures" well this unfortunate fact wasted my money and time and they wouldn't take responsibility for it. Also the procedure that I did get was very incomplete which is resulting prominent marks on my skin. I explained all that and they refused to help and do anything about it without further charging me. I asked to speak with a manager by calling multiple times over the past week and nobody ever contacted me. Seems to me as they avoiding to let the supervisors/owners know they mistreat people. I don't recommend this place as they are not only dishonest for the purpose of making sales, they are also very unresponsive as far as anything that goes wrong. I am always treated so wonderfully when I come into Kucumber. This is a luxury and it feels luxurious. It is immaculate and well designed to feel like a high end spa. I am aware that they will always make suggestions for treatments or products but I don't feel any sense of the "hard sell". Mary is a fabulous esthetician and felt very taken care of under her skilled hands. Yes, it is expensive, yes, I could buy a designer handbag for the same price but when choosing where to spend my luxury $$$ I am confident that my skin will be in style a lot longer than the bag. As a black woman I am always self conscious at an all white facility but the facility looked cute so I signed up for treatment. I am an international conflict analysts and after a couple of treatments at the bellevue location a war broke out in my home country Ethiopia, I had to travel to Sudan to help refugees coming in from Tigray ( where my family is from). This whole thing has been so traumatic and the way these people have responded infuriated me. It may be displaced anger so you be the judge. I asked to cancel the treatment plan and get a refund considering I am in a war zone with a possibility of me losing my life! but I was denied. I then asked for the store credit to be used to get sunscreens to have my ex send it to me in Khartoum also denied I guess cuz it has been over two weeks and I still haven't heard back. I feel petty leaving this review using a unhcr wifi connection but I'm just tired of white people stealing money from us for not doing anything, using systems like 'polices' to reenforce their white privilege.
