I would recommend avoiding this place because I had a very negative experience with the spa's owner Debora. After contacting them to ask about a service, Debora reached out to me telling me it would be X price for a certain number of treatments. I was interested in moving forward and started setting up a consultation. While I was making the consultation, a separate email came a couple days later, also from Debra, responding to my inquiry with a completely different price (almost 50% more expensive!). I tried to clarify that I would be willing to pay the first price, but not the second one, and asked if that was ok. This is when things got weird - when I brought up the two separate quotes, instead of apologizing Debra got defensive and refused to answer which price she would actually charge. She said I would just have to wait and see about the price until I came in for the consultation. Her responses seemed very rude and condescending to me. For example, when I asked why the price changed she responded "Our promotions change from month to month and quotes can be valid for two weeks". Since it was still less than a week since I was sent the first price, I tried asking whether the first price would still be valid if I came and paid for it within two weeks. But she refused to answer - I asked directly "could the price be different depending on whether I come in before the 2 week period?" and "is there still a possibility of getting the first price if the consultation goes well, or are you only offering the second price now?" She flat out refused to answer these questions and just said I would need to come in to find out (without any clarity on whether I should come in within the two weeks.) As someone with a busy schedule, I don't want to come in for an appointment if she is no longer considering the originally quoted price. Why waste everyone's time? Obviously things can change during the consult, but no other medispa has ever had an issue discussing their specials and base prices with me. I found this entire exchange super frustrating and I don't understand Debra's motivations unless she is trying to pressure me into paying more than I'm willing to, or just intentionally being rude and defensive about her mistake of sending two separate prices. I feel that she has wasted my time by telling me different things and making this simple discussion needlessly complicated. I can't imagine what she would be like to deal with if an actual issue came up! NuMe has offered the same service at the lower price quoted from Debra, so I will be going there. It was very easy to discuss this same information with them. It's a shame about Debra's poor customer service because I was looking forward to trying this place. read more

I noticed that many of Deb's clients continue to give her 1 star reviews. Her total rating on Realself is 1.0 stars. After injecting my face with substances that were of unknown origin she refused to provide me with my medical records, and wrote me a horrid email demanding I remove my honest reviews of my experience with her to get $2500 back from the total of $5000 that she charged me for some poorly administered substances which gave me a terrible infection (I was on antibiotics for the infection an extended period of time). It seems that Deb Tri never changes as she's doing what she's always done when someone has a bad outcome - she denies knowing the patient, or she blames the patient for her inferior work. I ended up getting unknown facial fillers (remember she has refused to give me my medical records, and she never told me what she injected into my face). I ended up getting cellulitis from her injections, and became very ill from the infection. You can see pictures of my face, and Deb's email response to me (on Realself); hence, she can't deny that she doesn't know me, or that I'm to blame for the cellulitis that I got from her injections. Please think very carefully before letting this woman use anything on your face. read more

AMAZING JOB!! Lips+cheeks :) I came in less than 2 weeks ago for Juvederm, I made my appointment earlier that same day and was able to come in (I love that considering booking things like this can be a hassle and booking is never so quick and easy) that was the first great part, second, when I came in I had mentioned wanting to know more about Hyaluronic Acid fillers (considering it's already naturally occurring in skin so it looks more natural and moves more naturally and makes you look hydrated!) So, she went over all the details and showed me all the different kinds of fillers and how they feel and which has the best staying power, I first was considering Voluma and Volbella, but after describing my needs she told me more in detail about Restylane and how it might be a better fit, she even pulled up a study from other doctors doing a comparison in the lifting power of Juvederm Voluma vs. Restylane Lyft and we found that Restylane was the better option for me, also I was thinking to get Volbella in my lips (I had gotten Juvederm lip filler 6 months prior to this appointment but they had almost completely worn off) But as we went over that as well, I told her that although I did like the Juvederm I had gotten before at a different clinic, it did not come out as I expected and my lips were kind of fishy/long and not enough in the middle top lip to lift it and make it puffy as I wanted, she told me if I got the same filler as before, I may have the same result meaning it would likely wear out just as fast, so she recommended Restylane Silk, and after I saw my cheeks were lovely I was happy to take her next recommendation! She told me how I should try more to lift my cheeks instead of adding filler to my nasolabial folds so it would lift and give me a better proportioned face (She was absolutely right!) it did lift my lines quite a bit, though my cheeks don't look hugely different, it was only 1 mL, for real cheek enhancement people tend to get much more than 1 vial, but this worked great for lifting those lines that bother me and giving me a better upside down triangle proportioned face! I think I look much more symmetrical and feminine now :) Also, the last clinic I went to I brought pictures of the kind of lips I wanted, and this time with Debra I didn't even need to I just described what I wanted them to look like and she made them PERFECT without even a photo, she did such a great job and I love how my face looks so much and also really appreciated her knowledge and that she cared that I got the result that I wanted, actually her recommendations were even less expensive than the choices I was originally interested in! Love that she was most set in getting me the best result, she even signed me up to get promotions for fillers and let me use one on my second one, overall A++ experience, love my new bouncy face and will definitely be coming back when I'm needing touch-ups or any other skincare needs :) read more

No fine print, no exceptions, no exclusions or requirements. But then when I go to make appointment there are all of the sudden all of these. Whether I'm there for a facial or a laser treatment or just stopping by to purchase products, everyone is friendly and professional. I recently had a Clear and Brilliant treatment with Deb. I've never had such great results! I've done IPL, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels, all to varying results--but nothing like microneedling with the plasma mask. I went to see Deb initially for a consult; I waited some time before seeing her for a laser treatment. The treatment itself was painful, there was no numbing cream provided and my skin stayed red for some time. I saw little improvement in the area where I had the treatment. About a month later, I got multiple calls and I was given sales pitches for more treatments. The calls where when I was at work and I started to feel like I was getting a lot of calls. When I did follow-up I expressed that I wasn't happy with the result and the owner of the spa Deb insisted that there was a difference with the photos she took. Needless to say, I didn't return back. Hello I was recently at your establishment and this place sort of gave me the creeps I felt so uncomfortable I had purchased 20 units of Botox and She kept insisting I needed more. She pinched my face so hard to the point that she left red marks on my face. At one point she poked me with the needle twice and even muttered Oops. She kept asking if I had any friends or coworkers I could recommend. Afterwards I was bruised noticeably where I had to use make up which I don't normally wear to cover it up I got calls afterwards and the medical assistant kept pressuring me for a rewards card. Please do yourself a favor and please research someone who is board certified. read more

I initially went to Deb Tri (the owner) for Botox and filler and had no problems. But while there I learned about a treatment called Fractora that could help eliminate lines around the mouth area. I decided to try it after talking with Deb. The cost was $600. To make a long story short, THE TREATMENT PERMANENTLY SCARED MY FACE! Luckily I only had the area around my mouth done. I have many scars - some are recessed (like acne scars, but larger, and there are spots where there is loss of pigment (hypopigmentation) and darker spots (hyperpigmentation). Deb never said "I'm sorry", she didn't offer to refund my money. She acted like she didn't care. Needless to say, I no longer go to Simplicity Medspa. I talked to a lawyer, but it's difficult, if not impossible, to get medical professionals to testify against each other and you have to prove negligence. I recommend The Larrabee Center on First Hill in Seattle. I have had about 6 Dermapin treatments to help reduce the scaring ($100 each). They are wonderful! DO NOT GO TO SIMPLICITY MEDSPA! read more

4/11/2015 Problems with Product/Service Complaint I came in to see Debra Tri at her Medspa after watching her perform this procedure called the Vampire lift. I was very impressed scheduled an appointment. I asked questions about it and felt comfortable with her. After having it done I see that I wasted my $2500 on this procedure. Deb gave me some... free little samples of some expired products to lighten my brown spots. After going back for my pictures to compare I did not see any change. I felt that although she claims she saw something I didnt say a thing not even a minor or suttle change. I felt everytime she showed me my before and after pictures she wanted me to agree with her and say yes I see something. I talked with a respectable Plastic Surgeon who is board certified about this and he stated any respectable Dr would refund you or try and work something out with you to accomodate you. I stated she's not a doctor she's a ARNP. I did express my feelings to Deb and she stated that if she gets some samples of a product or whatever to see if it would make a difference to my brownspots but that never happened.I feel that was just talk to comfort me but she never followed up with that. I feel that all she wanted was my money and me leaving and looking like a fool. I talk to another Plastic Surgeon in Bellevue and he stated that it's a rip off to take your money. Although she was ncie to me I cannot help but feel its a deceptive ploy to get ones money and try and make you believe you see a difference or change. I went to her hoping she could assist me and believed this would help my browns spots but i feel it was just a lie. I just want my money back. I went back today to have pictures done and had an opportunity to see before and after shots side by side. I'm a new convert and will be returning for regular services. It may not feel like a super indulgent spa treatment but pics don't lie and my skin is much more clear, even and lifted. Eye bags have improved, eye wrinkles are almost gone and naso labial folds are improved. I recently had a IPL service from Deb at MedSpa, I wished i had read the reviews, it would have deterred me from using her services. The initial service was adequate, however the IPL service created more damage and worst results on my face, ended up with LARGE dark spots on my entire face, very visible. Her assistance took pictures and asked that i return a week later to meet with Deb. The meeting was ghastly, she was unprofessional, rude to her assistant, accusatory, huffed and puffed, rolling her eyes, as she scolded me. NO apology, no concern, just simply let me write a prescription to help fade away the dark spots. Buyers be aware of her shady practices and professionalism. She sold me a buy one get one, never got the get one. The damage she did to my face, will now be more costly as i will need to see a dermatologist/plastic surgeon. read more

Probably the best IPL treatment I have ever had. All of my red broken capillaries are gone and the brown spots (which I didn't have very many) are also gone. I hate those age spots.
