This was my first time getting RF microneedling (Morpheus) and laser resurfacing (Erbium), so I was a bit nervous going in. Well, that didn't last long. Melissa was WONDERFUL! Her warm and nurturing personality put me right at ease. She was so caring and meticulous in preparing my skin for both treatments that I had very little discomfort during the entire process, and my skin healed beautifully. It's only been a couple of weeks, but I already see a huge difference in my 60 YO skin. The texture is smoother, my pore size has diminished, and any hyperpigmentation I had is significantly lighter. I got a facial with dermaplaning from Melissa M, and it was the best facial I have ever had. I've never had dermaplaning before, and even as someone with sensitive skin I was shocked to notice how much brighter and more even my skin was immediately after, and the next day. It was super satisfying to see all the dead skin coming off. I usually have dryness and sometimes redness, and got multiple compliments from strangers that night about how my skin was glowing! I've been a customer of Blue Haven Medical Spa for many years now, going to the Greenlake location for facials, micro dermatology and laser hair removal. When I had the chance to receive a Kybella treatment at their new Ballard location I jumped at the opportunity. I was not disappointed. In Blue Haven tradition, I was greeted warmly in their new second location. The location itself was gorgeous. Conveniently located in the heart of Ballard with ample street parking. The space is nicely decorated and very open and welcoming. I met with Dr. Killey and Stephanie (IG @injectorsteph) and listened as they explained the procedure and what I could expect. They answered all of my questions and we started the procedure. I'm not a huge fan of needles but Stephanie did an amazing job administering the injections. All in all I received 45 injections and honestly only felt about 5 of them, which goes to show what a professional Stephanie is!! I'm so grateful for the great care she took during the procedure. It's been 4 weeks since the procedure and I'm very happy with the results. So much so that I want to book another Kybella treatment soon.
