I generally don't waste my time writing reviews however I tried calling to schedule a follow up for my hair removal visits that are done every 6-8 weeks and was told my contract expired. During the past year as a healthcare provider I have been stuck working 7 days a week nonstop. Obviously during that time the last thing on my mind was self care. Point of review is to say $3000 later and only had about 6 visit if my total agreed upon visits. Don't do it go elsewhere. read more

I was supposed to have an appointment today. It was scheduled back in July. I didn't receive a call, email or text message to confirm the appointment. I called yesterday to inquire about the appointment and no one answered. I get there today and the girl at the front desk wasn't helpful. Saying the appointment was auto canceled by the system because it wasn't confirmed. I never received anything to confirm. She was like I can get you rescheduled. For another day though. No thanks. I won't visit this location again. read more

I am finally ready to review this place. I know the reviews already up are terrible which surprises me considering my own experiences. I did a lot of researching places for my laser hair needs. I found a lot of salons had poor machines and bad reviews so was wary of them. Then I found Ideal Image online and decided to try a free consultation. The consultant my fiancee and I met with was very nice. She was comfortable explaining the process, addressing concerns, and discussing cost. She showed no desire to shame me about my hair consciousness. She also did not do any fat shaming which I admit I was worried about considering I would be baring intimate parts of myself if I came here. Overall I found her pleasant to be around. She even discussed some areas my fiancee was interested in getting laser for and informed him his skin and hair type were not compatible. Whoa! It was nice not to try an sell him on something that wouldn't have worked well. The prices are high. I expected this though and found them fair for what you get, which is results! Results are what you care about when you come here and they have great results. I noticed an impressive decrease in hair density after just my first treatment which I estimated at about a 20% decrease in overall hair. I am on cloud nine about this and have continued to have great losses as I go through my package sessions. Each time I have gone in I have worked with the same woman for my treatments. She is funny and friendly. She spends the time chatting pleasantly, cracking jokes with me, and communicating about how I am doing. The amount of discomfort you experience will vary widely on hair density and area. I have one area worked on that hurts like the dickens and other that I barely notice getting lasered. It is not quite as bad as waxing which I have done before. If it hurts too much take the topical cream they can prescribe. I don't know if it works as I just grin and work through the discomfort. I do say try them though if you want real results. These people are pros. They are fast, friendly, and courteous. read more

I heard raving reviews about the Coolsculpting service Ideal Image offered, so I thought it would be the perfect way to finally do something nice for myself. Instead, I spent several thousands of dollars that was a complete waste. I waited months for the transformation and was very disappointed to see no results whatsoever. Also, when I had my initial consultation call, the sales girl never asked, but instead told me she was adding on an 'after treatment' application product to my bill and it would be shipped to me. I asked my nurse practitioner about it and she said that the staff had not received any information about it whatsoever and had no idea what it even was. I believe the product was over $100 and it's sitting untouched because they don't communicate with their staff. I wouldn't have added it to my order if I was given a choice. The only reason this has one star is because of the outstanding service from the RN that I worked with each time. She had the most amazing bedside manner and knowledge on the coolsculpting process itself. read more

A disclaimer: I haven't got to the procedures step here, but I'd like to share my experience with the sales. I started with a consultation which I cancelled after reading multiple negative reviews that seemed concerning to me. After that I received multiple sales calls and emails. I unsubscribed from everything and for a bit I didn't hear back from Ideal image. But then I got more emails from a different sales rep, and I decided to give it a try. After explicitly saying that I was interested in the price range before spending my time on coming in for a consultation, I got several more sales pitch emails in response with no price details. I marked Ideal Image as spam and unsubscribed. 3 weeks later I'm getting another email from a different Ideal Image email suggesting I come and have a free consultation. read more

I admit that I look at other's reviews when I look seriously at a product or service. If you do the same, take this review to heart. I am a woman in my late 50's who has had extra tummy fat despite TONS of exercise. The fat pattern is hereditary, and it has driven me NUTS. I walked into Ideal Image and truly look a leap of faith, literally having tried EVERYTHING else. I had given up hope by this point but thought just maybe.... Imagine my absolute shock and thrill when, 2 months after cool sculpting, I could actually feel the muscle in my stomach. The fat layer was GONE. I could actually see my belly button in the mirror. I am one of the most honest people you will every read a review from; highly educated; known at work for "telling it like it is." Ideal Image did what I have wished for, for YEARS. read more

Save yourself the money and do not get any procedures done here. I had a somewhat good experience getting laser hair removal and thought that cool sculpting would work like the staff said it would, but the only thing I received from them is a never ending hole burning through my wallet. I paid a lot of money getting the cool sculpting procedure done but in the end, it didn't alter my body at all. All they said was I'm sorry, it may not work for everyone. read more

I went and had BBL for my brown spots on my face. I have hated them so much. The staff was so professional and welcoming. It can be daunting to go under a laser and the girls were so reassuring they made the experience much easier. And my brown spots are going away with each treatments. Love this place! read more

OMG， I have to leave a review! I spent 2000+ last thanksgiving for BBL and filler. It is May 2021 I still have not finished the three sessions of BBL! And they told me they were booked until July. When I asked about filler, they said the clinic that can do filler was closed. If you can not provide service why sell them. I really should read the reviews here first! read more

Do not contact this place for even a quote! I sent an email through their website inquiring about the cost of a service. This was yesterday evening after 6pm. Within a minute I received a text and phone call from Madison at Ideal Image with questions along the lines of a sales pitch. After the text and phone call that evening, I also received an email from Madison. I did not respond. Today I received a phone call and email from Madison with the start of "I'm sorry to bother you" and then proceeded to continue her sales pitch. I told her to stop harassing me and this type of behavior is unprofessional. Do not go here. In fact, don't even contact them. You'll be harassed like I was! read more

I was pleased with the ease of booking my complimentary consultation & my initial impression of the office. However, I was a bit unnerved that the rep I spoke to, stated she would have gotten me in to have the service done right after my consultation. (The nurse was not in the office that morning.) I had not planned nor did I have time for anything other than the consult. I'm glad I obtained a second opinion with another medispa & could review their recommendations before booking an appointment. This review is based on the free consultation I booked. I decided to have services performed elsewhere. read more

Update: I still have not heard back from Ideal Image, nor have I heard back from their customer service (who's email they provided me in response to my original post). I am pleased with my laser hair removal experience. Their persistent contacting in the initial contact was a little bit aggressive, but I am glad I took the leap. I get the YAG laser because I have a tan skin color, I am of southeast Asian descent. After the first treatment all of my treated hair fell out, as they said it would, and grew back thin a month later. The first nurse missed some hair in the folds of my skin in my private regions. So I resolved to mention it in my next session. For the second treatment, the nurse I saw was extremely thorough. Her name is Amber. She is great. read more

I have had two laser hair removal experiences prior to this, and one where the target area was my face. That experience resulted in increased growth and it was very disheartening and upsetting, as I'm sure anyone can imagine. So it was with a tentative heart that I pursued laser at Ideal Image... and I am so so glad I took the plunge. After the very first treatment, I saw more reduction than I saw in over a year at my previous location. I'm now four treatments in and my hair growth is minimal and so much more fine than it was before. It feels ridiculous to say, but my quality of life has improved and I truly couldn't be happier. read more

I couldn't finish my treatments due to having to fly out to Las Vegas. They said to call a number (they commented on my previous review) but more than 3 times no one picked up or has called back. They also tell you to pay upfront because SOMEHOW you save 6k... which is absolutely ridiculous. I'm definitely NOT happy about the money wasted. They sold me on false advertising and then laughed on the phone when I said that I now have to go to Vegas to get my treatments. Amber laughed and said "ah just make a trip out of it" like everyone has the luxury to go on a Vegas trip every month because she convinced us to pay for a whole package of treatments based on lies. read more

I would give this place a zero star rating if I could. I wish there was another option that read "this place stinks" Alright, so let me tell you my story, given the fact that I have NEVER complained about a business, nada. Well, there's a first time for everything, am I right? I called Ideal Image to schedule an appointment after getting vaccinated, being that I felt safer. The receptionist lady who answered the line asked if I had some kind of reason why I hadn't gotten treatment for so long...as if the pandemic never happened. I gave her the obvious reason and she then tells me "well you hadn't gone for a couple months before the pandemic started." I explained to her that I tried to book an appointment with them, but that they were booked. She then tells me "we were booked? That's strange, we're never booked" as if I was lying. Again, I found myself having to explain the situation to her after being insulted. I told her that I work during the week and the only day that I am available is on Saturdays - no joke, I would have to call in multiple times to beg for an appointment because they were ALWAYS booked on Saturdays. I had grown accustomed to Ideal Image's abuse. Even with little to no hope, I would contact Ideal Image and a receptionist would tell me to call back again in a few days to try again." My favorite response was, "Maybe there will be a cancellation, who knows, you might get lucky, I'd keep checking in." -lucky to get an appointment for treatment that I already paid for?! How did I put up with all of this?! you might ask. Well, that part's on me. I never complain or give bad reviews because I worked in the customer service industry for so long, and as I've been told, I can be too understanding of other people and tend put their needs before mine. Well, not today Satan, not today. Anyway, back to the topic. My appointments were always too far apart because Ideal Image couldn't seem to fit all of their clients into their schedule. If I had to miss an appointment, I'd have to wait another 8 weeks before getting another treatment. I got 5 treatments total in a span of over a year when i should've been done with treatments by then. I paid for the total treatment, that is 9, which means that I had 4 remaining, not to mention the "lifetime guarantee of always being able to return if you require more treatment" that they jazz you up with when they're selling you. ALL LIES I also ended up paying more than what I had been informed of because interest started accumulating immediately with the credit option that they offer so I had to find a way to fork out $3,000. I believe I ended up paying at least 3,500 in the end, i didn't even bother to do the math because that would literally just break me. Now here comes the good. After having to explain that we were in the middle of a pandemic and about their scheduling issue, the receptionist had the audacity to tell me that they couldn't see me anymore due to the fact that I hadn't gone for so long and that there had been another gap period of not getting treatment beforehand - which is the most irrational idea, like. "Well, it wasn't an issue before so we saw you again, but we just decided that it is an issue." At this point, I didn't want to let out my frustration on the girl so I asked If i could speak to a manage and, well, surprise, surprise, you've guessed it, no manager. Why I even uttered another word after that, I don't know. The ideal Image receptionist ignored me to to the point where I had to ask if she was still on the line because I would ask a question and she wouldn't respond. Finally, with no reassurance, she told me she'd take it to management and that they'd be calling me back within two weeks. I waited 4 weeks then 6 and then decided, it wasn't worth my time and effort if they weren't going to help. Well, I can't seem to forgive and forget. It's like a bad stain that won't rub off. All I can do is inform you. I know that my friends and family will not be stepping foot into that place after hearing my experience. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. read more

I went to Ideal Image 3 years ago. First let me say, I would wax then shave and still have stubbly legs by the end of the night. I had 6 treatments. the first was horrible I had itching and redness. The second was more painful and they stayed pretty painful. By the time I was in for the 4th I had very little hair. I have not shaved in over 2 years. I have smooth great legs. I have one hair on my left leg, I can feel a little fuzz on the back of my legs and the areas that were very thick hair. I need to get a touch up but I am not bothered by this so I have not returned. The touch up would be free according to my contract with them Pros: hair is gone, The person who helped me get set up was really great. Abby? Cons: it cost a lot but I love not having to shave. Mixed reviews on the person giving me the treatment. I did end up ordering anesthesia cream and was able to tolerate the treatment, otherwise I could not. I have dark black hair and brown skin. No issues with lazer causing discoloration as happens to dark skin. I did have some scars from the reaction but they completely resolved. read more

Sadly, my experience has come to this. For years I have been wanting laser hair removal. It finally felt like the time, and I wanted to do it with this company because they appeared to be the most professional. I had a great consult on zoom with someone and said I would let her know via email within 24 hours. Shortly after, I emailed her and said I'd like to go ahead, adding a question about the treatment. I never heard back. I emailed 3 times with no response, so today, decided to call. I was on hold for an hour before hanging up because I felt ignored. To spend so much on something for myself is a big deal, and this experience made me feel like just a number. I will be looking for this service elsewhere unless someone from the company can make me feel otherwise. read more

This is only a review of laser hair removal, not the staff or service. I paid $1K for upper lip hair removal and have been going at regular intervals for over a year. It has not been effective at all. I'm a "Fitzgerald" meaning light skin and dark hair and have worn sunscreen as directed. It's as if I never had anything done at all so I'm now looking into electrolycis. A very unfortunate waste of time and money. read more

Exploitative business practice- my purpose behind writing this review is so that others know exactly what to expect when going in for a consultation so that you are prepared to make the best decision for yourself. I did not receive services with this company, my experience was only limited to the consultation. You NEED to go into this meeting as if you were entering a car dealership. This is not a meeting about a cosmetic medical procedure, this is a sales transaction. The person you meet with will find things in common with you and offer you discounts based on these superficial "connections" you may have (for example- I was told "because of our connection, I took off another $250... still unsure? What about if it was $350?") They grossly inflate their prices and then offer 70% discounts off of those prices. I am fortunate that I both work in sales (and was able to recognize the salesman techniques being used), and that I had done thorough research before the meeting. Ladies (and gentlemen)- laser hair removal does not, I repeat DOES NOT cost $12,000. Competitive pricing for the procedure in Seattle, depending on the area, is around $800- 2,000 per region, obviously with variations for different sizes of the area, etc. Even after their "discount" the pricing they offer is still 2-3x what is competitive. There are certainly perks to choosing to work with a large corporation, and they do offer a lifetime guarantee, but I am of the opinion that this is not a situation where you "get what you pay for" and are therefore better off spending more money just because there is a more expensive option. Reviews for this company as well as smaller, local companies, are pretty much the same for both short term and longitudinal results. It works for some people, less so for others. In addition, the New York Times did two exposés on this company in 2014 and 2015 that indicated they lock women into contracts and do not let them out even for serious medical complications. The situation after the aforementioned incident in particular was resolved, but my experience indicated to me that the practice of locking women into contracts prematurely has not changed. You WILL be pressured into signing a contract on the spot in your consultation. Please do your research, be prepared to negotiate costs, and do not be afraid to walk away if the meeting doesn't feel right. Remember- they need you more than you need them, and your best tool in any sales negotiation is to say "thanks but no thanks." All the employees I met were perfectly lovely and everyone was doing their job, and for this reason I purposefully did not name anyone I interacted with. My issue arises with the way the company conducts their business. This is a MEDICAL procedure, and people do not come into these meetings expecting to have to advocate for themselves to avoid being taken advantage of. I hope this review can help you all avoid making a big financial decision prematurely. read more

DO NOT FINANCE WITH THEM IF YOU CAN AVOID IT. They were not transparent about the fact that after the promotional period ends on your account, any interest accrued during that time is dumped into your account and you are responsible to pay it. I was just charged an additional $1300 in interest because I didn't pay off my balance within the promotional window. Regarding the treatments themselves, my experience with the staff was mostly positive. Aside from the fact that they're rarely on time and you should budget an extra 15 minutes to wait, the staff was always friendly and helpful. I'm thrilled with the results and would highly recommend, assuming you can avoid financing, you can pay it off within the promotional window, or they've changed their model. It's my own fault for not reading the fine print, but when I was dubious of zero interest and probed into what the catch was, they assured me it was zero interest period as long as I kept up with the designated monthly payment (which I almost always exceeded). I'm so disappointed. read more

I'm only giving this review one star because the tool won't let me give the zero stars, which is what they deserve. I regret using their services and will never ever...and I mean ever give them any more of my money. My belief is that they are dishonest and deliberately use tactics to ensure that you don't get all of the services you paid for within the contract time. I bought a laser hair removal package from them. With that, you get a set amount of time to get it done. After that set amount of time, you have to pay a discounted rate if you need more work or touch ups. My experience was that as I got close to the end of my time, appointments somehow were lost, not confirmed or just cancelled. This happened to me 3 times - one I showed up for my appointment and it wasn't in their system, so I had to reschedule for a later time. When that time came close, I called to confirm my appointment so I didn't drive in if it wasn't real. Magically, they didn't have my appointment in the system. And then, surprise, surprise, they didn't have any more appointments within my contracted time and I'd have to start paying. Nope...their tactics didn't work on me. They will not get any more of my money than they have already taken and didn't earn. Now I have to pay someone else to finish the job. Ideal Image - no need to reply to this post telling me to call customer service so you can make it right. I've already done that and you didn't make it right. read more

Haven't had a problem here until the last session, it was a different nurse practitioner who i had never had before. Long story shore she was talking so much that she missed spots because a couple days after the session I noticed some hairs growing which was not normal because I usually don't see them until a week before my next session (I've had 6 treatments now). I did not spend over 2000$ to have a patchy hair. It looks like a checkers board as if she went over the red squares and left the black. Extremely disappointed read more

I NEED TO RANT‼‼‼ THIS IS FOR YOU IdealImage Medical Spa So I have some scars on my face I've been dealing with for years that I was excited to get rid of. I did a consultation (via zoom, I assumed because of covid). Well today was supposed to be my first appointment. I walk in and they assumed I'm their for a consultation because they can't treat me pregnant. Of course I'm confused because that's not what I was told. I said no? I came in the other day to pay because I wasn't allowed to schedule until I paid in full and that I already did my consultation. I was aware me being pregnant might be an issue but the person who I was consulting with said it was okay because it was just my face. I can do one appointment and then my other two after the baby. Of course I assume the person consulting me is a licensed profession giving the fact he's giving me medical advice not only about which procedure I should do but saying it's safe for my baby. So I'm in disbelief when the front desk people at Ideal Image tell me what notes he put down. Which were the EXACT OPPOSITE of what I was told and what came out of my mouth. And that's when I learned my consult was only a sales rep! Literally just after my money and not the best interest for my skin. Because the doctor at the facilty said I show signs of Melasma (scars mirroring each other) and that they wouldn't even be able to perform the laser treatment if that's the case. Which is what I paid for. AND they tell me they don't do refunds! I'm beyond pissed. I was lied to and robbed. Ideal Image I'm a mother about to give birth and you thought money was more important than actually helping someone who was excited to have clear skin after dealing with scars for almost 10 years. Worst company to work with. I brought a package and was booked 6 weeks out but I was excited. A few days later a medical issues come up and needed to cancel no problem with that but It would also be 2 years or so tell I could us the product and I'm not sure if at the time I will want to have the same treatment done so I have been trying to get a refund of 700-800 worth of product. I sadly miss one call and then called for two weeks straight with no returned call from Danielle. Gave up calling for a few days cause I'm so up set. Just want my money back and the $250 I paid for a year membership which promised me so much and has caused me nothing but stress and anxiety about when I'll get my money back. This is going to be a long one. When I first contacted this company in the early parts of this year, I should have known better right off the bat. They were quite aggressive about wanting me to purchase their services THAT day, promising deals that were "one day only". I should have said no, but I didn't. Foolishly, I set up a payment plan with them without signing a document with the price listed on it. They had given me a price, verbally, which I would later find out to have been blatantly false. When we had set up a payment plan verbally, we had agreed on a price, and when I received my first bill, the price was nearly double. And I want to clarify some things here. For starters, the actual initial price that I agreed on (the one that they doubled) was excessively high for laser hair removal. If you are reading this and looking for an actually affordable laser hair removal service in the Seattle area, look up "Blue Haven Medical Spa". They charge 125 per session, where they can do your entire face. This place wanted far more to do just my neck and jaws. The prices are abhorrent, and ridiculous. Their claim that the high prices are justified because they have a "lifetime guarantee" is absolutely fabricated. Laser hair removal typically takes 6 to 8 sessions to fully do. Given the prices of the place I am currently going to, that is, at most, a grand. This place wanted over a grand JUST for my neck and jaw. There is no "advanced technology" that can justify this. This is a scam company, through and through. They knew I was trans, and desperately wanted laser hair removal, and they took advantage of that. They got me to sign documents based on a verbally agreed upon price, and then did me over when it turned out to be much higher. Then, when I went to cancel and/or get a refund, they demanded a doctor's note to even consider cancelling it. When I went and ACTUALLY GOT that doctor's note, they STILL refused to cancel it. When I moved up to Seattle I was in a bad financial position, and these people screwed me over while I was down. Even know, months later, my credit score is horrible, from this singular event that took place months ago. I am in a better financial position now, but for me, it is now about principal. They manipulated me and blatantly lied to me, even when I was clearly in such a poor position. This company has been the absolute bane of my existence for nearly a year now. I will never understand how companies like this are allowed to exist. I will never understand how what they did to me was legal in any way, shape or form. I am still going to try and settle this with my lawyers, but they have made it so excruciating to deal with that I truly have no sympathy left for them. I have been unable to move into my own apartment SOLEY because of this company, and NOBODY else. I cannot put into words how much this company has hurt me. But now you, dear reader, can get a vague understanding, and hopefully realize you should not use this company. Read their reviews across ALL sites, not just Google. They are NOT good. I am, by far, not the only person they have hurt. read more

Do NOT go here! I am a laser hair removal fan and throughout the years have been to many different places. Ideal Image is by far the most expensive but I went with them thinking I was paying for good quality and great service, I was very wrong. I was just about to finish my last treatment, so as someone who has gone through the process at Ideal Image here are a few things I've noticed. 1. If I ever needed to call to schedule it took about 20 minutes on hold just to get through. 2. If I ever did need to reschedule an appointment they said they were booked up for 2-3 months before the next appointment, yet every time I walk in there is never anyone else there and about 2-3 staff is just sitting behind the desk talking. 3. My biggest issue is that they now are " more strict" with thier policy and at my last appointment I was not allowed to get the treatment because I was told any time spent outside, or even in my car, over 20 minutes was too much sun exposure. So am I expected to put on sun screen as I drive to work every day??? She literally would not let me get my treatment done. I understand they are trying to cover their butt so if I get a burn they do not get in trouble, but they make it impossible for me to have my treatment. I can't tell you how many time I have been there and I've seen other people have to reschedule for that reason. So I pay all this money and then they won't let me have my laser treatments. As I've done research I have also noticed Ideal Image as a whole on Yelp has received horrible reviews. Let that be enough of a sign. Don't waste your money. read more

Ideal image is a large corporation in which no - one is accountable for customer service. The corporate office is in the East Coast and they use this excuse to ignoring customers. My experience with them has been an ongoing saga in which they have failed to provide services in a timely manner. I purchased a package in November and was not able to make an appointment until February which is a much longer time-line than promised. I waited patiently until February and then this appointment was cancelled the day prior due to Covid. When I have attempted to cancel the contract and receive a refund, I have gotten the run-around from Sonnie, Jessica, and Courtney. This company has acted in bad faith and I no longer trust them to touch my face with a laser. I have requested to be contacted by corporate. They promised this would occur within 48 hours. That was a couple of weeks ago. At this point talking to someone will not matter. A refund is the only contact, I would ever choose to have with this company again. I recommend that any potential customers avoid this company. I feel swindled. See previous reviews of previous recent problems and broken promises. read more

This review is about the consultation and not treatment. I came in here for a consult. They spent 20 minutes with me to discuss what I wanted done and then eventually told me how much it would cost. $10k to laser my back. Let that sink in. Maybe I'm a chimp. If so, fine. But, they were running a special for 60% off. So they quoted me at $4,500 after discount. What a deal! In Los Angeles, I can get the same treatment for less than $1000. I have no idea why they are so damn expensive here, but I can assure you I'm not going to forego a motorcycle or a trip to Japan for a lasered back. More annoying, however, is their super shady sales tactics. They made me sit through a mini lecture about hair before examining me. And then they pitched the limited time sale. It felt like a pressure tactic. Perhaps you'll have more faith in these clowns that I do. Just be prepared. 9h, and they can finance you for this. Seriously. Cause you'll be buying something equivalent to a car. read more

Visited the place for a "complementary" consultation. I know that in hair removal the only important thing is the machines the place use, in this case not the really new and efficient ones. But the "quality" of their representative that I met was so embarrassing that I chose to leave the place and never look back. read more
