This used to be the premier place on the Northside of Indy to buy flooring, but that doesnt apply anymore. Our salesperson was just ok. I made an appointment with the salesperson directly, but they acted like they didnt know I was coming when I got there. They proceeded to walk around with coffee in their hand and weren't very helpful with picking samples. Fast forward to the install - the carpet installers had to call their supervisor to our home because they didnt know how to install it in a certain area. What??? This was a simple replacement. We ended up putting in a tack strip vs the installers doing it. They laid the carpet out in our dirty driveway. What would they have done if it was raining? They then walked all over it in our dirty driveway with their dirty shoes on. When they left, there were carpet pieces all over the driveway, they barely vacuumed what they put down, and someone urinated all over my bathroom floor! I would not use ICC again. We could not have made this any easier - we removed furniture, carpet, pad, etc but they acted like they had zero clue about anything. Also would not use our salesperson again since they didnt seem to know what they were doing, and they cut us off repeatedly when talking. read more

We moved into our new build home in 2021. We had to have our floors replaced in 2023 to no fault of our own and now a year and a half later are having the same issues. They sent a 3rd party out to evaluate how bad they were- the recommendation is that the floors needed replaced. [[HIGHLIGHT]]That was over 2 months ago, we have not received a call or an update on the floors and what the plan is moving forward.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall would avoid ever using this company and would caution anyone looking for new flooring. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Terrible - don't go there. Had to keep telling them what we wanted. On our vanity, one piece was broken, the rest was wrong. They charged us to remove stuff that we needed, then we had to build the missing pieces. Looks like we will be missing our main bathroom for an extra month. read more

A representative came to measure and I never heard back from him. We went through our contractor who also uses ICC. We waited 2 weeks for delivery and today they delivered the wrong product. It wasn't even close. So now we wait 2 more weeks with plywood floors and all our furniture stuffed into the kitchen. Interestingly, the exact same thing happened to a co-worker and I just figured it was a rare mistake. read more

In a day where Amazon, Zappos and Nordstrom are the benchmarks for customer service, I cannot fathom how ICC can operate with so little attention to customers. They were the flooring contractor in our new Pulte home. It has been a horrific experience dealing with Steve at ICC. The original carpet was not installed correctly - not cut to the correct room dimensions. ICC has sent several different subs to address warranty claims. None have fixed the problems, and we continue to find areas that are improperly cut, have tack strips exposed, etc. The subs who do arrive are seldom on time and almost always rushed to get to the next job. In fact, a few have made comments that they know the work they are doing is not correct, but it is all they are being paid to do. Their customer service is terrible. My mother used them and it took almost a year to get her kitchen done. She had so many issues with cabinets that she had to settle for her current layout. When it came to getting the countertops in, her stone was sold to someone else. The next one broke during installation. She had to settle for the one she has now. They offered no compensation for their mistakes or lost work time waiting on their contractors to show up. Don't use them! read more

I was not happy with my experience getting my carpets stretched. The servicemen showed up to my house 3 hours early, while I was at work, at left without calling. When I called the company to see if they could do the job during the scheduled time, they said they couldn't. When they finally came out to do the job, the work was okay, but they did not clean up after themselves. They left tiny nails and tacks all over my house, and they knew I had a crawling baby! a very frustrating process with this company. the showroom experience is not friendly. i found a sales person who gave me the figures, but when i went to reach her via phone or email she never got back w me. ever. i was given a new salesperson who got me scheduled quickly. i made the mistake of leaving during service. the crew let me know when they were finished, when i got home i was missing a transition strip and there was old carpet and wood pieces left everywhere. i informed my sales person and she arranged for a crew to come back out over a week later. i had paid for my furniture to be moved for me, and my dressers were put back backwards (drawers against wall). lastly i have had a professional cleaner come out three times since the project, and they have confirmed that the vinyl laminate flooring has sticky material from the shoes of the crew that will likely never come up. i had a really bad feeling when i originally walked into the unfriendly showroom and i certain have my regrets. read more

Salesman came out to measure on October 19 -by November 18 I still haven't received a quote and I'm moving on to another company. Spoke to a manager about three weeks after the guy came out to measure and he said that's totally unacceptable and he will get back to me -never heard from him again either. When I called tonight to find out why I haven't received the quote yet I was told my sales person is now on vacation. a nice guy named Taylor tried to help me out and said he would come start the process over again but at this point it's just a little too late there are many flooring options out there to choose from so I'm going to try another company. read more

I am done with this company. Dave Little was supposed to be at our home 1 hour ago to measure an area that needs 8-10 tiles. Before Dave, I was working with Angie Allen. I was trying to match tile in our Master Bath. For over a year I called and emailed her on the status of the tile and received responses very rarely. Finally I have the tile. Unfortunately, I could not get her to set up an installation appointment. Frustrated with the unprofessional work ethic she has, I spoke with a gentleman named Dave Little. He assured me that a installation appointment would be set up. I was supposed to receive an estimate of cost over a week ago. Never got it or a phone call about it. Now, he is a no show. We had vinyl plank flooring put in our finished basement last Fall and they did such a great job that we recently decided to have hardwood flooring installed in our master bedroom. (It was something we had been thinking about for quite awhile.) Enrico and co-worker came last Friday and within a little over half a day they took out the old carpet and installed the wood floor, having to move some bedroom furniture around as they were doing it. We are very pleased with the work, and the price was comparable to other quotes we got. Thanks to project manager Paul Howcott for guiding us through the projects. I talked to the man that came to measure the floors 2 weeks after he measured and he could not set a date for a further 2 weeks to do the job. We set a time of 9-10:30 am two weeks out for the work to be done. I called them back on the day of the install at 10:45 to see what was going on and they could not even locate the worker that was supposed to do the install. so it took 2 weeks to hear back, 2 weeks before they could come out and now they are over an hour late with no idea where the installer is even at or what he is doing. How did they make it right. They said sorry. I would save my money or spend it else where. read more

I would not even give them "1" star. Worst customer service ever. They don't care about customer service and will tell you anything thing just to make a sale so they can make commission - Four weeks is really 4 months they have no idea what they are doing . Ordered tile off showroom and looks nothing like what we ordered. Deb Arvin will then tell you they did a nice job laying the floor and offer no restitution and basically shrug their shoulders and say sorry your are stuck with it! How they get a good rating on Better Business is beyond me. They have literally screwed up every job they have done for us, carpeting, tile and laminate. I should have done a review before we ever did business with them. Hopefully someone will read the reviews on this website before they ever do business with this company.
