I purchased flooring about 3 years ago. They advertise: "You'll love the way your new floor looks, or WE'LL REPLACE IT FREE". What a lie. They blame their installer. Their installer blames the material. The consumer is screwed because the warranty is only a year on the install. My flooring looks terrible and now I have to go buy a whole new floor from another company. What a joke this company is! read more

Once they have your money, they just give you lip service, don't pay attention to your needs and refuse to make things right. Writing "sorry" does NOTHING for your clients! Clients that give you THOUSANDS of dollars. I CANNOT recommend this company. This had nothing to do with measurements and everything to do with communication and your willingness to make amends. You were more concerned with confirming my identity, than making sure you had the proper delivery date and paying attention to your customers needs. Regardless of weather, you NEVER edited the delivery date and I didn't know what was going on! Businesses and workers were scheduled around this! A $1500 delivery charge, which YOU chose the transport company and YOU made the arrangements. I don't want to read or hear anymore excuses. BE VERY CAREFUL with this company! We purchased 33 boxes of flooring, And had 35 unusable pieces. Which should have been enough to complete project I ordered 3 more boxes accounting for the 20% to finish the project and out of the 3 boxes there is 1 usable piece out of the 24 pieces. I contacted Floors to your home. The agreed to send 3 more boxes. Again out of those only 4 usable pieces. We were told they would send 2 more. Then when I called to check in status person stated that the 3 boxes were a Courtesy, and they will not provide any more. We only needed approx 8-10 boards to finish the project and the staff member said that the floor would have imperfections and was just something to walk on. And they would not use resources to send more. We already made 3 trips to Avon at this point, which is approx 50 minutes from our home Why would I spends $1000 for this. Very unsatisfied with response and product. Beware when purchasing. read more

Would not reccomend. We needed an extra 3 boxes of Pergo vinyl floor could not find it locally so we drove 6 hours (round trip) from Downers Grove to pick it up. When contractor went to install the product was defective and cracking and breaking. Asked to return 3 unopend boxes and was told they do not do returns that are less than 4 boxes per store policy. We were never told this. Also. there was a 25% restocking fee and a 3% credit card penalty. Basically held our $275.00 hostage. Do not do business with this company. read more

We moved into a new home and quickly realized our carpeting was soaked with urine due to the elderly man that lived here before us. We had used Floors to Home in Avon a few years ago and did not think twice about where to go to get new carpet installed! Their customer service is second to none and they not only took care of the smell by removing the carpet but they permanently eliminated it by putting Kilz on the floors for us once the old carpet was removed. They knew our situation and were out to measure the carpets in a few days. Adrian and his staff are awesome! read more

We were in the Avon store Wednesday, July 13th and saw some flooring that we liked. When we got there we were the only customers there and the lady there talked with us and answered our questions. After a few minutes another couple came in and we were forgotten. :-) That would have been fine if she would have come back to us after initially talking with them. We found some flooring that we actually wanted to purchase right then. However, like I said we were not a top priority after the other couple came in. We liked the Shenandoah TS3206 and kept waiting for the person to come back to us. We had to interrupt her once to ask one more question and we kept standing by what we wanted to order and she NEVER came back over to us. You would think she would have asked us if we wanted to buy what we were standing next to. We had somewhere to go later and after a total of 30 - 35 minutes we left. We live 1 & 1/2 hours away and since we couldn't get it Wednesday we needed to make another trip to Avon on Friday to get the flooring that we wanted to get 2 days before. After we get in there and tell her (the same lady) that we wanted to purchase our flooring, my husband had to carry the flooring out to the car. We asked if they had a cart...they did have 1 and it already had some other things on it. Now, my husband only had to carry 4 boxes, but in the light of everything else we had to go through it was just one more thing added to our experience. I'm only giving it 3 stars instead of lower because of the flooring and prices. read more

Do not recommend for carpet installation and customer service! Purchased laminate for our master bathroom and our entire downstairs. Personally installed. But, when it came time to replace carpet, we went with the company's installers. We paid for them to move our furniture. However, when they arrived, they called the store to say we had too much furniture and the sales person called us stating they wanted an extra $100. My husband was even there helping and we did not give them more money. Fast forward to just over 2 months after the install and the seam in our 3 bedroom doorway is very obvious! I went into the store 3-27-21 and spoke to Sarah about this issue. She gave me an email address to forward photos of the seam. I did so and was advised that the installers would review and she'd get back to me. On 3-29-21, I received a phone call from Sarah. Advising me that the installers looked at my photos and decided that I have dragged furniture across this. That they will charge me to come out and re-stretch it!!! We haven't moved furniture over this! Our carpet is less than 3 months old, we spent over $6k at the Avon location and this is their response to a warranty installation? We won't be returning and will advise all we know to look elsewhere. read more

The staff was very friendly and helpful to ensure we got the right flooring for our new home. Sarah was very meticulous and attention to detail oriented. She went out of her way to make sure everything was going well. There was a delay in the install process, but that was due to the peel and stick being more difficult than anticipated. The owner provided me with a military discount even though there is not one in place at the moment. The flooring looks amazing and we will be going back when we remodel the upstairs! Opening up a retail store and construction schedules never go the way they are suppose to. Sarah and Buzz were great to work with. They accommodated us with several samples for our design process and once we made our final decision, the price had jumped up, but they held the price from our original conversation. Bruce was great here!!! Was very informative. Came out to our house to measure for our vinyl and carpeting. They had many products to choose from GREAT PRICES!!. We were able to redo ALL of our floors in our WHOLE HOUSE with great durable vinyl and highest quality carpet and pad for under 8k. They installed all of our carpet in 1 day. The vinyl was done on another day by another crew. Both jobs were FANTASTIC!!! But if it wasn't for Bruce and his knowledge of carpets and vinyl flooring and measuring, this wouldn't have been so EASY or BEAUTIFUL!!!! THANK YOU. Babette and Gary read more

These people are very unprofessional. They charged us a non refundable $25.00 to come to our home to measure for carpeting. We received the quote and they changed the measurements from square feet to square yards to confuse us and the quote was for twice the square footage we have and they tried to pass it off as waste. Twice the square footage and twice the cost . We had carpet installed twice before and nobody had anything close to that much waste . Said they would call us back to explain more but never did. They never bothered to pick up their samples. A big waste of time with these people read more
