In the end, even though another company had the wood flooring that we wanted we asked Brown to order the material so that they could do the project. The crew that did the work was on time each day and very professional. They stripped and stained one room and professionally installed new hardwoods in two other rooms. Two months after the project has been completed, we have been admiring the work and showing it off to friends. Other quotes included a needless sub floor to get the new floor even with the existing tile in other parts. The Brown crew leveled the joints at no additional cost and the floor joint was perfectly level. we are so happy we went with someone that obviously knew the business and had the right crew that knew how to get the job done right the first time in the stated time. It took less than two week for us to receive the materials. The staff placed the flooring, quarter round, and transition pieces in our vehicle. I am glad that we purchased from Blakley's. They not only gave us better customer service, but also a better price than Prosource, the store from which we were originally going to purchase our flooring. They were wrong. David's sanders have vacuums and we had very little dust. Plus they were proactive and taped plastic on doorways and kitchen cabinets as well. They showed up on the days and times they said they would which is a huge deal these days. They were punctual, clean and organized. They paid attention to a lot of details. The original floors were a light maple and we wanted three rooms to be restained to match our darker dining room floors and David did a great job! We are very pleased with the results. This place is professional, reasonable, honest, and fair. They are a pleasure to deal with. Lowes, Home Depot, and Menards contract out...for the same price or more and same or less quality carpet. Then on top of that it can take 3 weeks for a special order carpet. And who knows who is coming to do the job. Here I found what I wanted 8lb padding with plastic guard and soft carpets you want to sleep on. It took 7 days to deliver and was put in as soon as they could. If it wasn't for the darn holiday weekend and a prior appt. I could've had it done the day after delivery. The guy who owns it, puts down your carpet. It's like he backs up what he does. I like that in a business. On a side note, this is a truly ran family business. The installer is the owner. The guy who measures is his dad. The sales person, is literally everyone's grandma. So paying them made me feel good. How's that for service. They made me feel good while parting with my hard earned money. Do not go to Floors to Go. I can't vouch for their work. But I can vouch for the way they tried to be slick about charging me more money for my carpet by over estimating square footage, charging me for every little thing (removal, hauling, moving furniture, special staircase) and refusing to itemize what I was paying for. Install crew arrived at 10AM and they were out the door by 4:30PM. Project was our upstairs, about 1100 sq ft, 4 bedrooms and our stairs.

The only contact from Adam was a phone call that the subcontractor made to Adam on installation day, after my entire floor was pulled out to notify Adam that the Flooring he had ordered was not the correct thickness and there is a problem, The floors Adam ordered are too thin! The subcontractor handed me the phone and Adam said to me "He made a mistake, He should have took the time to come into my home and measure my current floor thickness. Adam told me he will split the cost of his mistake with me $2000. I was forced to pay an additional $1000 for his mistake!!This is not a manufacturers defect! Within a month of installation multiple strands from the carpet began to appear which qualified for a full refund based off the amount of degree of involvement. Despite this, Full Circle deferred the decision on whether or not to refund us to the carpet manufacturer who then promptly stated that the stranding/looping was "normal" and did not qualify for a refund or replacement. On the positive side, they also installed LVP in our basement which did bubbled up in several spots. The company was attentive and corrected the areas that were involved.
