Tony Strangeway is a terrible salesman. Work with someone else if at all possible…read more When we first contacted the company, he said an estimate would be no problem. He came in and measured, suggested we install over the existing tile, and told me he would have the estimate to me by noon the next day. Noon came, no estimate. Then he said it would be the end of the day. End of the day came, no estimate. Then he said it would be the next day. Next day ended, no estimate. Same the next day. Finally got our estimate. I asked if we could schedule work. He said he was on vacation but would get back to me within a week with a scheduled date. End of the week came, no scheduled date. Then he said he would let me know by Monday. Monday came, no scheduled date. Then he went on about how they can't schedule a solid date because of unforeseen events and because the contractors they use don't actually know when they can do the project until four days prior. But for about three weeks I was told "about two weeks". My daughter and I are disabled. We needed to make sure we were not in the house during installation, which meant I had to request time off work and we had to make plans. Which you obviously can't do if you have no solid date. This went on for weeks with him not being communicative or keeping any of his word, ever. Not one thing he said would happen actually happened. Finally get a date, but I'm told that it's not solid (even though it's literally in the contract). I told him about our unique situation, and his response was, "It really won't be that big of a deal. It should not inconvenience you." Which is not how you respond to a disabled person explaining their disabilities. The day comes. The installer tells us we need to avoid the room (which is our living room) for about three days because of the fumes. I was not told this ahead of time and this is pertinent as it relates directly to our disabilities. I inquired with Tony. His response? "I don't know much about tile installations." I told him this has nothing to do with carpet being installed over tile, it has to do with the adhesive being used. His response? "I know." Then why was the tile comment a relevant response to my concern? Carpet gets installed. Then, one or two days later, it lifts. All the edges came right up. It's as if they cut the carpet in the shape of the room and just set it down. It is not tacked down on any edge. Tony's response? "Oh it's a tile installation. Those are harder." Regardless the carpet should not be lifting. At this point I'd asked to speak with the owner repeatedly and Tony mostly ignored my request. He said he would send someone out that day to fix it. I followed up three hours later. "Oh it won't actually be today, sorry." I'd had it. I told him it needs to be today as this is now a safety issue for my daughter, and I demanded to speak with the owner again (with still no acknowledgment of that request). Installers came late that day. Tony said it would take them an hour. After 2 1/2 hours, it was 10pm and they finally finished. But they openly stated they didn't move the couch or fix the area behind the couch. And the carpet started lifting again the next morning. The owner finally called me. He came and walked the project. He saw the issues. He came and brought someone to fix them himself. They stapled all the edges down. I still had to pay full price for all of this. Cost over $3,000, and that does not feel like a fair price for the quality of work I received. I have no confidence the carpet will stay down over time. Guess we will see. Work with another company. I've done enough home projects and flooring projects to know this is not how it should go on any level.

The store front and showroom may not be as impressive as other stores, but that's his competitive edge and allows him to give better prices. We had some specific concerns and requirements, and the owner genuinely cared about making sure we got exactly what what we wanted/needed. It was installed quickly and carefully. We've had no issues whatsoever after 3 months and are completely satisfied. I give A-1 my highest carpeting recommendation - it's worth the drive to Clermont for sure.

They did the entire upstairs which included the bedrooms, closets and hall. They even touched up the top of the newel post at the top of the stairs. It was worn like the floors and now looks great (pic)! We didn't have them refinish the stairs and you can see how well the floors turned out (pics). We went with the satin finish vs gloss and are happy. Robert and Nick did great work, they were easy to work with and answered all my questions. We have used Pro Sanding twice. The first time they refinished our back room and kitchen. In the…read morekitchen they had to feather in new wood to match the old wood where we had removed a peninsula and the work was beautiful. This past week we had them come in to remove tile from the foyer and replace it with wood and refinish the bamboo flooring we found when removed the vinyl flooring. Carl gave us a fair quote. The new wood arrived and was then Caesar showed up to do the floors. Under the tile he found beautiful parquet flooring that he was able to refinish. Carl requoted us and we oil back the ordered wood without issue. The flooring turned out fantastic. If I had more flooring to refinish I would definitely call Carl again.

The only contact from Adam was a phone call that the subcontractor made to Adam on installation day, after my entire floor was pulled out to notify Adam that the Flooring he had ordered was not the correct thickness and there is a problem, The floors Adam ordered are too thin! The subcontractor handed me the phone and Adam said to me "He made a mistake, He should have took the time to come into my home and measure my current floor thickness. Adam told me he will split the cost of his mistake with me $2000. I was forced to pay an additional $1000 for his mistake!!This is not a manufacturers defect! If I could rate Adam's flooring minus a thousand I would Do Not use Adams Flooring in Carmel.

I was looking to get my main floor redone. It was a combination of faded/worn hardwood and nasty…read morecarpet and I wanted to reolace it with vinyl PVC planks. I contacted them through a Facebook message and set up an appointment with them to install. The quote was relatively easy to get, as they use flat rate pricing, per square foot on the flooring and per foot on baseboards, quarter round and caulking. You will need to provide the flloring, which I kind of prefer for a couple of reasons. First, it gives me a better selection. I am not limited to what brands are sold by the installer. And second, some installers mark up the price. I was free to find marked down and wholesale planks. I ended up getting about 1,000 square feet from Menards. Gordon and Shawn were awesome. Gordon my be young, but is still very knowledgeable about flooring. My floor was not the easiest to install with all the angles, the cabinets and an island mounted on top of the hard word flooring that was being taken out, the baseboards being high, the area where the carpet was not having an quarter round and a couple of spots in the floor being unleveled. He was able to take care of all of those issues an any other one that we came across, which actually surprised me. Gordon and his team are very dedicated to their craft and getting the job done right. There was some quater round that I needed done around a support beam. It was a very small job, about 5 to 6 feet needed to be done. He came out the. next day and took care of it. He has very reasonable pricing and if you can take care of some things on your own, you can save a few bucks. I did the floor removal and disposal myself. However, he does offer those services for those that cannot do it. He also can sub-contract post house clean up services. And it will get messy with all the dust from the sub floor. I had a hole in a wall in my garage and Shawn was able to repair it for me after they had installed the floor. That was an added bonus and I had been waiting to get this hole repaired for months. It was a life saver. Even with all of the aforementioned issues with installing my flooring, it could not have been installed or looked better. I was very pleased with how everything turned out. Gordon is top notch and I will be using his company again to install a new floor on my house's upstairs. I cannot say enough about Gordon and his team. They are honest, hardworking, up front, dedicated, knowledgeable, and courteous. I highly recommend this business for any of your flooring needs.
