Solid quality and taste. Service was great, smooth and efficient. Value is ok. Only take out available.

I came here cause I saw mango habanero sauce for chicken wings and was sold right away. The people here are friendly and have some great food suggestions. They are a small place and great to go to. They do have a few seats outside on the sidewalk, but more are to come. They are quick when they make your food, and it tastes amazing.

Pepper Steak Cheesesteak was delicious, just needs more cheese and mayo.

Good food, good service, in a To-go ambiance perfectly describes IB. The service was good. I ordered three pepper steak sandwiches with the works. All were made delicious. However, next time I have to make sure there's cheese and extra mayo. I could not taste the cheese. When I eat a cheesesteak, I definitely need to taste the cheese. Other than that, the ingredients were fresh, the bread was soft, and the sandwich hit the spot. I will definitely be back again.

I showed up hungry and got handed a cheesesteak so big it could probably double as a pillow. This juicy, melty, glorious mess had me wondering if I should eat it... or just carry it around like a trophy (I was able to eat half of my half and still have some left to brag about!) Bonus points for the staff -- super friendly and helped with recommendations without feeling like an upsale. If you want a meal that's doubles as a workout, IB's is your spot. Just grab napkins... lots of napkins.

A bit on the pricey side but overall very tasty. I think if I go back I'll tell them to put everything to the side so my sandwich isn't soggy. Also with them not having any type of seating, you have to walk to find a place to sit and enjoy your food. Oh, I absolutely loved the garlic fries. And if you're sharing, the LRG is ALOT to eat. It was 2 of us and we barely ate half.

Great spot! Came a little before noon on a Thursday and was worried I'd hit a but lunch rush but it wasn't busy at all. There was a guy getting a sandwich ahead of me and then it was my turn. The sandwich was fantastic as usual. Large portions and a big hit with friends. Parking is tough but usually you can find a spot somewhere along the block

Downtown Berkeley has so many great food options that you really can't go wrong. IB's came highly recommended by a friend, and it didn't disappoint. While the sandwiches may seem pricey, the portion sizes make up for it -- the large can easily feed 2-3 people. For my first visit, I tried the garlic steak cheesesteak (regular size). The flavors were good, but I thought there was a bit too much honey garlic sauce, making the sandwich a little too sweet for my taste. That said, it still came together nicely. Next time, I'd probably go for a more savory or traditional option. Parking can be challenging since the area is always busy with foot traffic. We luckily got a spot a couple blocks away and had a pickup order ready to-go to eat in the alley a few restaurants down.

Omg!!! Coming home from the Oakland zoo and we were told about this little hole in the wall Philly spot. I am so glad we decided on stopping by. It was the best Philly cheese steak I have ever had!! We got the regular with mushrooms and peppers. So much flavor. Every bite I took I was like hell yes. This is just a small counter so no inside or outside seating but we just ate it standing outside

Writing this literally minutes after devouring this gas sandwich. At first, I was a little skeptical about the $16 price tag for a regular, but the second they handed it to me and I felt the weight, I was like, "oh yeah, this is worth it." First impressions: it's in a nice part of Berkeley, super close to campus. The place has a clean, minimalist aesthetic, and very tidy inside. No seating though, so definitely more of a grab-and-go spot. I got the spicy steak regular, and the guy making it clearly knew what he was doing. I overheard him talking about his technique, love when people actually care about what they're making. Adds a little extra something, lol. As soon as I opened it up, I was hit with the cheesiest, most packed steak sandwich. Absolutely delicious. If you're on the fence about the spicy option, it's kind of like the spicy sauce from Dyar (not overpowering, just the right kick). Next time I'll probably ask for fewer jalapeños, but other than that? Perfect. Super filling, super satisfying, and the service was clean and responsive. Definitely coming back.

This place is located next to Berkeley campus and conveniently opens late (12 AM or 2 AM). Wanted a place to eat before going to the Greek Theater. Ambiance: The place feels like a very open space, the doors are wide open. There isn't a place to eat indoors so do find a spot outside to eat, there is an area nearby for outdoor seating. Service: The staff was very chill and nice. The vibes were good IB's Original $14 (3/5): I ordered everything on it, but it tasted very bland. I can barely taste the sauces or cheese; it tastes very much like meat and lettuce. The regular size is huge enough to share amongst two people. Garlic house cut fries $5 (4/5): This was good and tasted better than the sandwich. It was crispy but did sog after a bit of time. This only had minced garlic on fries so don't expect it to taste of buttery garlic with cheese shreds. Eating it with ranch did enhance it Sweet chili wings $8 (4/5): Ironically enough this tasted a whole lot better than the sandwich. It was crispy and juicy. The flavor was good and not overwhelming. $8 to feed me with 5 wings would be enough to keep me full. I think this would be a great late-night place for drunk food, maybe I didn't get the right cheesesteak however pretty satisfied with everything else but the sandwich. Ordered a combo along with the wings and it came down to about $30 so it's kinda pricey.

Delicious authentic Philly cheesesteak sandwiches! Lots of creative options. Everything we tried was good. My favorite was the Classic Philly cheesesteak. We also got the garlic steak, surf and turf, onion rings, and tater tots Service was quick. No seating but we didn't have to wait long Decor was cute and emphasized their east coast inspo/roots

Was too hungry for a presentation picture but it was really good, cured my chili cheese craving fast service, I went later in the evening, & there is no seating! All to-go

    Nick C.

Great late night food spot in Berkeley near campus. The Mushroom Cheesesteak was so flavorful and hit the spot. The menu overall is quite large too, so definitely give it a proper look before ordering--I was reading so many delicious things I wanted to try the next time I was there! Note, the wait can be quite long here and there is no dedicated seating/table area, so just keep that in mind if you are in a rush. Overall, IB's is a good spot!

We also both got plain fries, which were somehow greasy and dry at the same time, and instantly turned stale as they cooled down. We really hoped for this place because it's conveniently located, and all the other decent burger spots nearby have closed, but sadly we won't be giving 310 Eatery a third try.

Berkeley Social Club, finally made it after hearing about the Millionaire's Bacon for what feels…read morelike years. Worth the hype, no question. Thick cut, candied with the brown sugar and chili, hits sweet then heat right after, had to order a second side for the table cuz one wasnt gonna cut it. Got the bulgogi scramble too, the marinated ribeye in there has this sweetness that plays well against the egg, potatoes on the side were seasoned proper not just an afterthought. Place is loud, like really loud, no carpet no dampening so by the time you leave your basically yelling at your own table. Worth it tho honestly, gives it this fun chaotic energy. Service kept moving the whole time, water got refilled without me even asking which never happens anymore. Patio in the back is a nice touch if you can snag it, a little calmer back there. Sign in on a tablet for the wait, we got lucky with timing but ive heard horror stories on weekends so get there early if you can. 5 stars, korean western mashup that actually works and isnt just a gimmick. Bacon alone is worth the trip

My GF and I stopped in unexpected as we were meeting friends at a nearby hookah lounge. I wanted to…read moretry something new in an area I don't come to often that was close to our destination. I am glad I took a chance on this place because the whole experience was great. I called a couple hours before and was able to reserve a table for 2. Being unfamiliar with the area I didn't anticipate parking being hard to find, but after circling the block once, we found a spot. We were greeted warmly by staff and quickly seated. The decor was nice; great ambiance; large bar with a lot of tv's (perfect for watching the last game of the NBA finals, as the Knicks won). We both ordered the raspberry lemonade. I have been a huge fan of fresh handmade lemonade lately and it did not disappoint. Fresh, tart and sweet. A little too tart for my GF's taste, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. Appetizers were the Millionaire's Bacon and Cheesy Gyoza. The bacon was soooo good. 2 perfectly cooked pieces of thick cut bacon with its sweet, sticky coating that was well balanced and not too sweet. Cheese and Gyoza with bell pepper is a combination I didn't know I needed. It was a pairing that was full of flavor and left us saying "OMG, WHAT THE". Great start for the meal. The Club Moco was calling my name, and I'm glad I answered back. Every element of the dish was cooked perfectly. The gravy was full of flavor and made the dish. Everything together was so complimentary and made every bite so enjoyable. My GF ordered the G.I. Fried Rice. The table side presentation was really cool as it came plated on a cast iron plate and the egg that's usually scrambled and mixed in the rice, was poured around the plated rice allowing you to scramble and mix however you like. I only had a couple bites and can say that I would be happy to order that dish as my main course next time. The mix of the rice, more candied bacon, spam and kimchi was full of flavor. I have never heard of this restaurant and am thankful to Yelp for helping me to look up places so easily where I was visiting. The only thing that surprised me is that I thought that place should have been packed. Service was great, ambiance was great, food was great and the NBA finals was on. I imaging this would be a great place to watch World Cup matches. Highly recommended! Go check it out!
