The food is incredible, and the staff (I believe our server was Jose) was so friendly, making the whole dining experience even better. The tiramisu was hands down the best I've ever had!

I Ricchi--4 out of 5 stars. The ambiance was beautiful and the service is A1. From the moment you walk in, everyone is every attentive. The staff is always checking to make sure you are satisfied and they do it with a smile. The food was decent also. I started with the calamari--very fresh pieces. I also had some kind of shrimp scampi. Our server told us it was specially made for Restaurant Week. The breadcrumbs were an unique addition to the plate, but overall it was decent, just needed a little more sauce. My friend had the Eggplant parm, which she enjoyed, but she mentioned she wished it was crispier eggplant! Overall, I would come back to try more items on their regular menu. Plus you can't beat excellent service--it will always having to coming back!

I do not know where to begin. The authenticity of the Tuscan cuisine is beyond reproach. Chris Ricchi has created a lasting experience for diners. We toured Italy through the menu and had one amazing dish after another. The food was amazing, the service was astounding, and the whole experience was exactly what we wanted. Exceptional quality with an exceptional dining experience. This is a MUST for DC!!!!!

My friend and I decided to check out this restaurant for dinner on a Saturday night. I arrived early and decided to have a drink at the bar while I waited for her. Eric was the bartender and was very personable. We exchanged small talk until my friend arrived and then decided to make our way over to the table. We purchased a Groupon deal which included dinner (an appetizer, an entree and a dessert) and 1 glass of wine per person. We opted for 6 different items so we can sample and share. Our server was Carlos and he was extremely helpful in explaining the different menu items. I was actually too full to finish my entree and dessert so I opted to bring them both home. Overall it was a good experience. I definitely plan to come back. My only confusion was when I was given a bill for $11 which appeared to be a fee for using the Groupon which I had already purchased and paid for in full. I will be following up with them in regards to this.

Beautiful evening on the piazza at Ristorante iRicchi in our Nation's Capital.

IRicchi, without a doubt, is the most authentic Italian restaurant outside of Italy. Truly, when I dine here I feel like I'm in Tuscany, except without the long flight and jet lag. Attended the Annual Cena Bianca dinner on the piazza, which had not been held since Covid struck. 140 diners, all dressed in white, ushered in summer under twinkling lights and twinkling stars, long white tables, white flowers, everything white. We began with cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres as the Tommy Ruggieri trio played and passersby looked over smiling at the spectacle just off a busy street in downtown Washington, D.C. The food was fabulous, all served family style among communal seating with new friends who all had something in common: love for authentic Italian cuisine, prepared by a chef owner who earned her stripes in Washington years ago and has commanded her own slice of Washington for 30 years. Christianne Ricchi has earned her loyal following, and it was on stage, front and center, Tuesday night. Pasta, shrimp, pork, chicken, and salads that screamed for second helpings, there was something for everyone, and finished off with a delightfully light summer's dessert of panna cotta with a fresh blackberry salsa. A veritable explosion on your palate, the taste buds awakened from the slumber of winter!

We we sat down the waitress was very friendly and welcoming. She knew alot about the menu items and such. As soon as she handed me the wine menu and saw Chianti as one of the wines, I didnt hesitate to get a bottle for the table (I love Chianti with a story behind it). We ordered the Creamy Burrata, with Grilled Bread and four cheese sauce and the calamari for the appitizers. All of the appetizers were amazing and Im a sucker for grilled crushy bread. For the main course i ordered the Trout Piccata. The fish was cooked to perfection and the veggies were well seasoned. My friends ordered the chicken piccata, Caruso Alfredo and baked Cavatelli. Everything was good. Next up we ordered the butterfinger sundae, Nutella cannoli and tiramisu. The sundae base is chocolate ice cream. If you are fan of chocolate ice cream you will love the sundae. Overall great experience and I will definitely return!

As well, I wish I could remember the gentlemen's name, but he took care of us with great recommendations and patience while we were overly conversational! Excellent cocktails and a small-ish, but high quality wine list made the drinking aspect in this really ambient corner restaurant perfect for birthday vibes. Cannot say enough about the perfectly cooked pastas. but the veal Francaise was the real star! Chicken parm was very good but a little overhyped, though the red sauce on everything was AMAZING. Made the side pastas as good as the entrees. Our tomato salad dressing was so good that even the cucumbers (which I do not like) shines. The garlic bread was kicked up with the cheese sauce and the calamari shone bright with the addition of the aioli. Everything was top-notch. Good value for the amount of food we ordered and the desserts were fantastic - including the creme brulee on the house for here birthday. First class dining experience. Grazie mile!

Found it to be a bit louder than I would've liked but I think it was because of the spacing between tables. Came toward the end of the night and got seated and welcomed right away. I ordered the polpette, meatballs to start. They were quite tasty, but the sauce was a bit watery. Think that's just because the meatballs themselves were pretty juicy. Heard the focaccia was a hit, so asked for some of that. I was told they didn't have any left. Which was weird, because then another server came and asked if I wanted bread. I'm glad I said yes because the focaccia is very fresh and was a great addition to the meal. For my main, I ordered the vodka pasta, which was very flavorful and very saucy. I love a good, thick vodka sauce and that's what you'll get here. The one part of the pasta I didn't really enjoy was the chicken inside the pasta. I think I would've preferred a grilled chicken option instead of the chicken that comes in the pasta. That being said, this place is a gem. The prices are great and the portions are hearty. The pasta is thick, you're really coming here for fresh noodles and ingredients. If you want to top your meal off just right, you'll get the chocolate lava cake. Very delicious! Service was good and staff was very attentive!

To my surprise, they brought the cake out with lit candles and everyone sung Happy Birthday to me. They even cut and served the cake to us. Keep in mind, there was not a charge on the bill for this either. It truly made my birthday even more special. Grazie Nonna, you don't understand how happy you made me feel that day. I insisted on going in here because they just look like they have good wine. Correct. They did. A great selection of respectable European varietals. We noshed a bit but didn't eat a meal, but I can tell you that the wines would pair incredibly with their menu. We ordered the olive bowl and grilled octopus-- which was made to perfection, btw. Really brought the wine to life. The space omg THAT SPACE! Beautiful, breathable, eclectic and yet wholly European lakeside chateau vibes. We sat at the bar but there was also a huge dining room, a wide green room (glass ceiling so it gave major outdoor vibes without actually being outside, and even a (roomy) private dining room on a mezzanine level that overlooks the dining and bar area. As mentioned, the staff were our favorite part. Special shoutout to Oja (spelling? I don't like to be overly critical of food, as I quite honestly eat everything, but I felt a bit disappointed with dinner. However, the cheesecake was delicious. The service was great. The standout in the Neri were the shellfish for me. Even though they were small bits, the pieces tasted fresh. In the Gnocchi, the saltiness of the prosciutto, though not overwhelming, paired well with the basil sauce. I finished a little more than half of each plate before boxing it up for a small lunch the next day. The service was great and the tall ceiling and windowed dining room provided a nice atmosphere.
