I've gone to this salon 5 times, but this time was my last. They typically do a decent job on my nails, but the wait time really varies. I've always booked a appointments before going in, but the two most recent times I had to wait over 1 hour before getting my nails done. To make it worse they left me with the aluminum/nail remover on my fingers during that hour which really hurt my fingers. The second time this happened the lady who did my nails even said she knew I always wait a while, but made no effort to change that which I thought was rude. This most recent time I went in for a regular dip manicure. Usually it takes 40 minutes max, but I was there for 1.5 hours. The lady doing my nails took 2 different phone calls while I was there and cut me while doing that. She cut me a few more times and the nail solution made it sting really bad. She didn't seem to know what she was doing and didn't give me the right shape for the nails. To makes matters worse, they said some rude stuff about me not realizing I'm fluent in Vietnamese. Gave this place many chances, but I won't be coming back.

The fix thank you I beauty lounge!

This place is so kind, professional, clean, and overall one of the best hidden gems in southie! Today was my second time in and I actually went to another place in southie immediately before which BUTCHERED my nails. I was so distraught when I walked in, and the ladies at i beauty lounge immediately made me feel better saying of course we can fix this for you and ran around looking for the colors I was hoping for with a smile on their face. The technician did an amazing job fixing my nails and adding my design. I highly, highly recommend!

Took a long time and my toe was bleeding due to being rushed. Should not accept customers day of if they are going to make them wait.

I accidentally booked an appointment for the same day, just 10 minutes before the appointment time, when I had intended to schedule it for another day. About an hour later, I received an email informing me that I had been charged a $57 no-show fee. The most frustrating part is that it was clearly an honest mistake. Who intentionally books an appointment 10 minutes before it starts and then doesn't show up? The timing alone should have made it obvious that this was an accidental booking error. As soon as I realized what happened, I called and explained the situation. I wasn't demanding a refund. I simply asked if the $57 could be applied toward another appointment that I was willing to book immediately. Considering I had been a loyal customer for more than six years and spent hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars there over that time, I thought this was a reasonable request. Instead, the answer was no. I was told they had called and texted me, at the start of the appointment, but I never received any calls or text messages. I followed up by emailing both the salon manager and corporate office, hoping someone would take a second look at the situation and use a little common sense. I have not heard back and at this point decided to just put this behind me. What disappointed me most wasn't the $57 itself. It was the complete lack of understanding, flexibility, and appreciation for a long-time customer. Businesses make exceptions for loyal customers all the time, especially when a mistake is clearly unintentional. This salon chose not to. To add, I have never not showed for an appointment on all the years I have gone to them. And unfortunately, this isn't an isolated concern. I later learned that the company has also faced public complaints and legal action regarding failure to properly pay employees for sick time and other labor-related issues. That, to me, only reinforces the same pattern: a business that appears to prioritize strict policies and profit over both customers and employees. This experience confirmed what I've felt for a while: customer service is not a priority here. Policies seem to matter more than people, and there is little interest in building long-term relationships or treating either clients or staff with fairness and flexibility. After more than six years, I will be taking my business elsewhere. There are plenty of salons that value their customers enough to show a little grace when an honest mistake happens--and also treat their employees with basic respect. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. I want to emphasize I have never not shown up for an appointment all the years I have been a customer. In my conversations with local friends, I think many seaport residents fall into the same pattern of going back to this location due to proximity and convenience. However, they have all had the same experience of inconsistent quality and customer service.

Me time is very important. So right after my haircut, I then made an appointment for a manicure &…read morepedicure. Walking up and down Seaport Drive, I would always see this really cute nail salon and always wondered how nice it would be to just try them out one day. A well established business can be reflective on the way their restroom looks and also how clean it is. Winter's in Boston is freezing cold, one of the coldest temperatures I've ever been in, and I really needed to use the restroom before starting my hands and feet. But back to the services, it was excellent! Exceptionally clean facilities, well decorated shop, prices are reasonable too. As usual, the pedicure was done first, followed by the manicure. It seems that there is a nice flow of customers/clients who frequent the shop. There are more services available than nails. They also do brows and lashes. Besides walking out with clean hands and feet, you're always treated with a light hand and foot massage. I'll be sure to come back again in the future!
