I'm a simple gal! And I don't have many expectations when it comes to a quick wax. I finally booked with Liz on E after having gone to ahem some chain wax studio I shall not name. I ended up booking with Evan because I believe Liz was unavailable, and I took her word that Evan was great too and she was! Evan was super friendly, sincere, and made the whole experience very comfortable. I had no pain whatsoever (this was for a back wax). Also, I really appreciated the affordable pricing. Done! This is now my place. I'll definitely be back--pub intended. :) read more

Kerryn is great for a quick, easy spray tan in Southie! Very reasonably priced and easy. Sometimes the tan is a bit streaky but she's experienced and knows what she's doing. read more

I've been looking for a great waxer nearby but that didn't have a huuuge wait time and Liz was the perfect choice! She fit me in so quickly and also was just as quick to respond to me. I've never experienced that level of immediate attentiveness and it reminded me of texting a close friend for a spur of the moment plan that they're always down for. Liz then continued the close friends vibe in person during my wax. You always know you're going to literally expose your private parts during a Brazilian wax but Liz was so personable and sweet that I basically exposed my inner personal journey to her in like 15 minutes. That was the quickest and most comfortable wax I've ever gotten. It's been a few weeks now and I normally get ingrown hairs but she waxed so cleanly that I STILL have barely any growth *and* no ingrowns. Liz is the hair(y) godmother haha read more

Evan the esthetician is amazing! My eyebrows have never looked so good! Not only does Evan have a great personality and makes the time fly by, she's meticulous and efficient and so quick that my Brazilian never hurts! read more

I've been going to see Evan for a Brazilian and eyebrow wax for years. She recently relocated to Liz on E in Southie and the space is almost as amazing as Evan! She immediately makes you feel at ease, takes a perfectionist amount of time for the services and has become someone that I can call a friend. Highly recommend! Booking and parking are easy, so give her and Liz on E a try, you won't regret it! read more

Amazing massage from a super thoughtful person who listened to all of my needs and tailored the massage to my requests - can't get any better than that! read more

This place and Evan are the absolute best. I wouldn't trust anyone else with waxing. I always leave feeling amazing and 100% better then when I walked in. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Liz. I've been getting regular Brazilians for some years now and while there's no such thing as a "painless" Brazilian, one with Liz is as close as it gets. Skilled. Fast. Thorough. An experienced professional. And as a bonus, she's a lovely person. Conversational but not chatty, really connects with her clients so you feel at ease. In my opinion that alone is not reason enough to go to someone, but it's a great bonus. No contest, I'm her newest regular! read more

Liz does do a good job and is easy to book appointments with. Just texting back and forth which is so easy and convenient. She will also try to squeeze you in and is very accommodating. First time I went for waxing it had been the first time I had gone in a while so it really hurt and I needed breaks but she barley gave me any and was going so fast I figured It's probably better anyway. The second time I was actually bleeding because my skin was dry where she pulled but she still kept going which hurt like hell. What I realized is she is booking for 15 min where other places book you for 30 min so that's why she goes quickly. It's a quick and go kind of place but if you are looking for someone to take their time that's not here read more

I always come here to get my eyebrows done. Liz does a great job and I highly recommend her for all waxing needs.

The massage therapist is beyond awesome. Literally one of the best massages I have ever had. However, there is zero spa ambiance. It was like having a massage in a crowded bar. I hope Djiana only leases space from this location as she is worthy of a much better location. Other employees and customers at Liz on E need to be much more considerate of other patrons. The noise ruined the whole experience. read more

Cannot recommend this place enough! I got my first ever eyelash lift and tint here and it was amazing. Evan is the best!! She is so friendly and talented. Already booked my next appointment read more

I had a gilt city here for eyelash extensions, I got them for my honeymoon to Europe, they look awesome! I told Liz I wanted them to look natural and just a little longer than they already were. She told me she was going to use single lashes, number 8, 10s and 11s I think. It took an hour and a half and was very relaxing, Liz is super nice :-) She also told me to text her or call her with any questions or concerns. I've only had them for one day but so far so good! Highly recommend! read more

Liz on E - No eye makeup! Love!! - Waxing Near Me - South Boston, Massachusetts

I have been going to Evan for years and she is a magician. She is fast, professional, hilarious and welcoming. Waxing can, of course, be painful but she is quick and professional and it truly hurts much less than anyone else I have ever visited. She is totally worth it. So glad she is closer to my home now!!!! read more

Great experience. Less expensive & less painful than usual. Liz was very friendly and punctual! Great service!

Liz is the best when it comes to eyebrows. She's super friendly and makes sure you get what you are asking for.

Great experience from the beginning to end! Read lots of reviews at various salons and this place stood out the most. Texted Liz for an appointment for my first Brazilian wax and she scheduled me in for the following week. Liz answered very quickly, made sure I was prepared, answered any questions I had right away. Texted me two days before to confirm my appointment, and told me to make sure I check in day of to receive 20% off my first service! During the appointment Liz made me feel so comfortable and everything was as smooth as could be through the whole process. She was fast and very thorough. Already booked my next appointment for March. I expected the waxing be a lot worse, but it wasn't so bad. Go see Liz, you won't be disappointed. read more

Just went to Liz for a Brazilian and she is fast and painless! Liz knows how to make you feel comfortable and is a pro at her job. I'll be returning to Liz :) read more

Fantastic experience and would highly recommend the great business. Super professional and really appreciated the phenomenal services

The place is not fancy, but Liz is sweet, quick, thorough and professional. I generally find waxing very painful and this was the fastest and least painful experience I have had. Also the text reservation system worked perfectly. Liz responded quickly and found me an appointment the same day. I highly recommend Liz and will be back. read more

I had my first time brow lamination with Evan and she is AMAZING !!! She makes you feel so comfortable , and takes her time to make sure you look perfect . She completely transformed my brows, can't wait to go back! read more

I can't believe I found this place! She's super quick and super efficient. Liz answered all of my questions and never even hesitated to ask if the process was okay! This was my first time getting a Brazilian wax and I can say I'm coming back when quarantine is over! She's worth the time, money, and results! read more

Evan T really is THE BEST at everything Brows! Tinting, shaping, lamination. I recommend her to everyone.

I see Evan there & let me say how amazing this place is. The new aesthetic the new space is amazing. I get waxed & lash lift services and you won't find anyone better than Evan. I've been going to her for 10 years and followed her anywhere she had gone! read more

I visited Liz for the first time the other day and she was great! She's extremely friendly and my wax was quick and painless and it came out great. Will definitely be back! read more

I had a great waxing experience with Liz. She was fast and did an amazing job! I will definitely be going back.

Very clean. Brazilian was pain free and nicely done. Convenient location in southie with easy text booking for appointments.

Came here for a quick eyebrow wax and love my brows. The place is clean, cute and private. Liz is super friendly, barely noticed the wax/tweezing with good conversation to distract. Will definitely be back. read more

I live in Grafton, work in JP and happily will go to Southie for all of my skin care and waxing services with Liz Vu. She is a professional in every way - solid knowledge, great personality... and... wait for it... really cares. I know that Liz will only recommend a product if I really need it. I worked with Liz for many years and I think it speaks volumes that I continue to go to her as a customer! read more

I definitely recommend Liz on E. Liz and Dijana were super welcoming and friendly, which is always extra nice when you're a newcomer. You can tell both are skilled and seasoned professionals by the way they ask the right questions and by the quality of their service. I had a bikini wax and a 60 minute massage, and I will be back! read more

Liz was great! Her facility is super clean and she is very welcoming! She really made my eyebrows look so much better! I normally do them myself but I will definitely be back! read more

Came here for lash extensions. I thought Liz was extremely thorough - she did my lashes with 3 different lengths for a more full look. Usually places I go just do two different lengths. She is also super sweet and really took her time with me. Seems like her waxing services are in high demand too, will have to check that out! read more

I came here about two weeks ago in desperate need of a massage. As a Boston firefighter my body tends to ache all over after a couple of 24hr shifts. I got a 90 minute massage with Dijana and would highly recommend her to anyone. I went in as stiff as a tree and left feeling as limber as Gumby. If you're around the area or in need of a massage give this place a try. You won't regret it! read more

Great first time experience at Liz on E! Will definitely come back here for future waxing appointments!

Really don't want to bash a local small business but I also don't want any other women to have my same awful experience with lash extensions here. It was my first time ever getting extensions, so I didn't know what to expect. I left the salon thinking they were way too long for me but they look ok from far away, and maybe I'll get used to them. I did get compliments from people on them looking nice....but they were so uncomfortable and up close were very clumpy at the base of my lashes. Now having spoken to others about what lash extensions are supposed to be like, and getting mine removed and redone elsewhere, I realize how bad these were. They were SO clumpy. Liz uses cluster lashes, not singles. Most of my extensions were glued to 3+ of my natural lashes and used a ton of glue which I think is what caused all the clumping. I ended up ripping most of them out myself and tearing out a lot of my natural lashes in the process, but they were just so heavy and uncomfortable, and everytime I looked closely in the mirror I was grossed out by the clumpiness. I couldn't get all the glue out myself so I went to another salon where they were horrified at the amount of glue stuck to my lashes themselves as well as my lash line. They were also shocked at the length and thickness of the extensions used on me, and told me my lashes weren't naturally strong enough to hold those up. From the sounds of other reviewers, the other services here are great...but I've only had experience with the lashes and will never go back. read more

Haven't written a review in a long time, but I have to write about what a good massage I had with Dijana. Really one of the best massages I have had, great pressure, and she actually paid close attention to the problem spots I mentioned, unlike big chains where I often feel like they ask, then give the exact same massage every time anyway. The space is small and you won't have a full "spa experience" like you do at Bliss or Exhale, but the massage was just as good or better. Minus one star (should be half really) because you can hear what's going on outside your room. Wasn't an issue for me as someone only came in right at the end of my massage but I think it could be annoying to listen to someone talking throughout my massage. I came because of a Gilt City voucher but I will be back and pay full price, well worth it. read more

I just recently went to Liz for an eyebrow wax and she was awesome! I have naturally very thin, and oddly shaped brows, and Liz offered some pointers that were a game changer. She knows what she is doing, no doubt. Her prices are reasonable and the work is top quality. I will definitely be going back and would recommend her to anyone! read more

Just visited Liz for the first time and will definitely be back. She is friendly, professional, and does a great job. She has a Brazilian special on Wednesdays, which makes them even more reasonably priced than they already are, and the text reservation system is super easy. read more

Had an amazing massage with Dijana--she was super attentive to what I asked for, the pressure was great, and overall I left feeling completely relaxed and limber. Also great ambiance in the room with the music. She was a total sweetheart and made me feel completely at ease. I have nothing but good things to say about her--definitely one of the best massages I've ever had! read more

Liz is fantastic! I've been a client of her's since her days at Spa Christine. She's very nice, accommodating and does a wonderful job!
