It's cleaner, nicer, and feels more welcoming as soon as you walk in. The atmosphere alone makes it a much more enjoyable place to eat. The service was also a big improvement. The staff here were friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. It felt like they actually cared about the customers and wanted you to have a good experience. What surprised me the most was the food. It's the exact same menu as the original location, but somehow it tasted better here. Everything came out fresh, hot, and really well prepared. I'll be honest, I had a pretty bad experience at the original location before, which made me hesitant to try this one. But I'm really glad I did because it completely changed my opinion. At this point, I may never go back to the original location again--but I will definitely be coming back to this one. Highly recommend giving this location a try.

We were looking for a diner or local café with good food and, given its rating on Yelp, we decided…read moreto try this place. The menu options are huge in this diner and I really wasn't sure quite what to expect. Good news was our welcoming waitress named Candyce who was very friendly, answered questions and made suggestions. Mr. Picky has a sweet tooth and wanted to order just pancakes, but I bullied him into ordering one of their FIT omelettes (shrimp and avocado) and then they very kindly substituted two pancakes for the side of fruit. I was eyeballing the Reuben on the menu and when I asked the waitress to name her favorites, that was one of them and so I went ahead and ordered it with fried zucchini and onion rings. The latter two fried things we both liked, the Reuben was just average, but the omelette was loaded with mushrooms and onions which helped make it taste good (the kitchen did a good job on that omelette to put lots of stuff on it and send it to the table looking substantial and tasty). As they close at 3 PM, they don't have desserts at this particular location, and so we shared the Strawberry cheesecake pancakes to finish the meal. Overall, this is not a "4.7" level restaurant but that was on only 12 reviews. I might stop in again if I was running down Kuykendahl and needed a quick bite, but the good news was the price. We got all that food for $39.20 plus tip, a really great deal, and our waitress was great!

Tastes like good ole home cooked meal right to your table but what really made this enjoyable for me was the service ... Nancy was attentive. Friendly. Gave great recommendations and always had a smile on her face. The other customers in the restaurant (the regulars ) are great too , such warm welcoming people and environment. It was like sitting down to eat with family. Family you've never met but yet felt you could spend hours talking to them. can't rave enough about this place and the people of magnolia

Service was good, food was quite good. Very fresh ingredients...you can taste the difference. The Mrs. had the club sandwich with onion rings. Rings had thick cut onions and were well seasoned (no salt or ketchup needed!), while the batter remained really crispy. I opted for breakfast (served all day), and had the Veggie Omelette (tempted to try the Migas...next time). Again fresh ingredients...no skimping on the spinach. Most breakfasts come with a choice of side and a bread. I opted for Home Potatoes (think red potatoes sliced and skillet cooked with onions that are crispy) and a biscuit. Okay, I'm a biscuit guy, and I tend to favor buttermilk or southern style biscuits...can honestly say I've never had a biscuit like this. Looks pretty "unassuming", but was denser than I thought with a consistency that reminded me a little of cornbread. Started thinking of the ways to utilize a biscuit like this in meals at home. Give it a go.

If a place has french fries, he's in. And I'd heard that Tony's was one of the best places to grab a burger in the area, so everybody wins here. I had the Juicy Tony and it was a solid burger. It's noted on the menu that is must be served medium rare, no exceptions - that's my preferred temperature anyway, so it was perfect for me. It was indeed juicy and tender. The cajun fries were a nice pairing. We enjoyed our experience overall. Was it a top notch, amazing burger? I wouldn't go that far, but it did its job and I'm happy we came and tried it out.

At least not enjoy spending it. But with prices these days getting way out of hand what can you do. I got the rattlesnake because I saw it touted as their award winning burger. Not sure from where the award came. But this and their trash can tacos had the emblem next to it. You also get a veggie pack with your to-go burger which has chopped lettuce, pickles, raw onions and 2 slices of tomatoes. That's nice so you don't have to put on the required latex gloves to use their veggie bar to get these yourselves. It's in a separate bag. I thought this was the buger at first and was secretly getting a bit concerned when I saw the cook toss it onto the counter like a bean bag. The cashier was super nice. He offered me water as I waited. They had another guy working in the back cooking the food. You also get a thimble of ketchup in your Togo bag along with a packet of mustard and mayo. The bun was a little burnt. And I couldn't taste any of the mixed in jalapeños. Also I kinda wish they had whole lettuce rather than chopped just because it kept falling out of the burger. But other than these issues the burger was pretty tasty. Definitely not a McDonald's burger like one person posted. But also not the best burger ever as many other posters swear by. Definitely glad I went. But don't know if I'd be willing to spend another $20 on one of their Burgers either. They're closed on Sundays according to Google maps which is old school nice to see.
