This place is AMAZING!!! The staff is bilingual, which helped me a lot because I only know a little…read morebit of Spanish. The location is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. Inside of the establishment, there are drinks, pastries, and snacks. The building itself is also pretty big, so nobody is on top of each other. There is plenty of space for everyone. I unintentionally waited last minute to order a ton of food (enough for 15) for an International Galantines event I was invited to attend. Not only was I impressed by the fact that they said yes to my order, but it was done on time, stayed hot throughout the 45 min drive, and tasted soooo delicious !!!! I ordered 12 chicken, and 12 cheese tamales; and 24 empanadas. My food was the first to disappear and the ladies kept mentioning how good it was! So grateful to have authentic food nearby. I will definitely be back!

First, a fair warning to visitors - if you do not know Spanish you will likely feel a bit lost and…read moreout of place. A lot of the signage was in Spanish and so was the language people spoke. I know enough Spanish to speak to a 4 year old, so I was way out of my league! I noticed upon arrival that they have some baked good, grocery goods, and apparently hot dishes given there were a few tables where people were actively eating. I just kind of strolled around for a minute looking lost. There is no one readily available to help people like me with the deer-in-headlights look. I had hoped to try an empanadas but it seemed intimidating so I strolled over to the shelves where there were various breads, pastries and cookies. I was still a bit lost because I first saw people with trays and grabbing breads but I thought they might be employees. But after wandering in another circle I noticed a lady grabbing a tray and tongs. I then saw the little sign that said to use the trays and tongs for the baked goods. I then followed the lady and managed to grab a few items. I had hoped for some cupcakes or donuts but saw neither. I did however get a cheese danish, a couple of cookies and a couple of breads. The items I got were pretty good and the bread was fairly soft. I certainly wasn't disappointed in any of the items I grabbed, I only wished there were a few other sweet items and a better system to better understand how best to navigate the store. But all things considered, the baked goods were good enough that I may very well be back to sample other items.

But I finally made it! I ordered a chicken Philly with onions, sweet peppers, and mayo. I've tried a Philly cheesesteak in Philadelphia several times before and wanted to see how this compared. The portion size was huge. Definitely enough for two meals. The meat was also thoroughly seasoned, but a little dry. Not a lot of cheese, which was disappointing. I was looking for the ooey gooey cheesy cheesesteak that I've seen on tv and food shows so many times before. This wasn't it. But it wasn't bad. Be prepared for long lines and long wait times. I really like the pager system he has, which allows you to wait in your car until your food is ready. He also has a variety of toppings including mayo, mustard, ketchup, onions, sweet peppers, mushrooms and more. I'd go back, but next time I would like to try the water ice. I was torn between giving 3 or 4 stars and decided to go with 4 due to the large portion size and taste of the food. I think it makes a difference if you don't have a reference point for Philly cheesesteaks. Without comparing it to what I tried before it was pretty good.

Food was delicious. Portions are large. You definitely get your monies worth…read more But it took a looooooooong time. Almost 40 minutes. While they were busy, there has to be a better way to get as good of a product out quicker. :)

They had us laughing and smiling the whole time while still being professional and attentive. It's not every day you come across employees who make you feel this welcomed. A very disappointing experience…read more Last night, September 28, at 9:45 p.m., I arrived to purchase a couple of Cold Stone's signature creations. Unfortunately, and much to my surprise, the young man informed me that they were no longer mixing ice cream. He explained that I could purchase a flavor and that he could place the mix-ins in a separate cup. At that point, I realized that everything had already been dismantled and put away. This was disheartening... disheartening because the staff appeared to have closed up shop prematurely; disheartening because of the time, gas, and effort wasted trying to patronize a local favorite; and disheartening because it only takes one instance of poor customer service for customers like me to stop considering a store as a future option. If customer dissatisfaction continues at our local businesses, those businesses will lose customers, eventually close, and our community will ultimately lose options. To that end, as I resorted to purchasing ice cream from the nearby Safeway, two other young women stopped to ask about my experience at Cold Stone. They then shared that they had been turned away altogether. I hope management/ownership takes note and understands that low or nonexistent sales during the final hour of business at this location may have nothing to do with foot traffic. Instead, they may be the result of limited options, disregard for customers, and other questionable practices. Recommendation level: As it pertains to the final hour of business, proceed with caution!
