This place was fantastic!!!…read more We stopped by for brunch and fell in love with this little side spot attached to The Charles. We walked in and saw a variety of food and drink items both made fresh and pre-prepared. I ordered the avocado toast and it was the best I've had in a very long time! I also ordered an iced coffee with sugar-free vanilla and it was perfect! I was also very happy to see that they carry the B-Doughnuts cinnamon buns, so I had to get one of those to-go! While I waited for my food to be prepared I took a lot around the market and they have so many different items for sale (spices, honeys, cheeses, etc.) There's a little sitting area where you can enjoy your food inside if you'd like and a nice selection of wines, vodkas and whiskeys in the back. I will definitely return to try more from this place, and take more pictures to share!

Sometimes the coffee is good and sometimes it is not (the coffee drink tastes more like milk than coffee) depending on who makes the drink. We have been numerous times and ordered different coffees on the menu, but more often than not, the coffee does not hit the spot. However, the service is friendly every time we have been. There are also plenty of specialty food items that you can purchase as well as alcohol.

I ate one of the most tender and moist fried chicken breasts that I have ever tasted. the mashed potatoes were fresh, hot and creamy, two types of gravy were offered and both the cornbread and biscuits were tender, flavorful and delicious. The broccoli was steamed but not not floppy and the green salad was a generous portion of green goodness. I could only eat about half of the offerings and the price was less that $12. from where I was sitting, my daughter's bar be que chicken and Mac and cheese looked great and my granddaughters child portion of turkey dinner was as delicious and generous as the adult meals. We will return here again! absolutely amazing!

You get nice proportions and food isn't too salty. I have no complaints and I rather go here over Cracker Barrel! Fight me... Lol!! I usually order the pancakes or French toast. The only complaint I do have is the size of the onions they cut with the potatoes they could cut them a little smaller. Lol! I bit into what I thought was a potato and nope.. It was a damn quarter sized onion lol!

First, a fair warning to visitors - if you do not know Spanish you will likely feel a bit lost and…read moreout of place. A lot of the signage was in Spanish and so was the language people spoke. I know enough Spanish to speak to a 4 year old, so I was way out of my league! I noticed upon arrival that they have some baked good, grocery goods, and apparently hot dishes given there were a few tables where people were actively eating. I just kind of strolled around for a minute looking lost. There is no one readily available to help people like me with the deer-in-headlights look. I had hoped to try an empanadas but it seemed intimidating so I strolled over to the shelves where there were various breads, pastries and cookies. I was still a bit lost because I first saw people with trays and grabbing breads but I thought they might be employees. But after wandering in another circle I noticed a lady grabbing a tray and tongs. I then saw the little sign that said to use the trays and tongs for the baked goods. I then followed the lady and managed to grab a few items. I had hoped for some cupcakes or donuts but saw neither. I did however get a cheese danish, a couple of cookies and a couple of breads. The items I got were pretty good and the bread was fairly soft. I certainly wasn't disappointed in any of the items I grabbed, I only wished there were a few other sweet items and a better system to better understand how best to navigate the store. But all things considered, the baked goods were good enough that I may very well be back to sample other items.

More like 3 and 1/2 Stars…read more I didn't purchase these these were provided for me at the job site. I liked the ube donut very creamy but it's not the style of donut that I enjoy. I prefer more cake based as opposed to filling style. The exception would be jelly filled but these cream filled ones just don't do it for me Overall I like the unique flavors that they have but it's not something that I see myself going out of my way to try again. I prefer donut connection.

Stopped in for kevins birthday. We didnt have a line so we walked right up and started asking…read morequestions about their donut displayed on the countertop. We asked about the prices on the donuts and were a little concerned, but honestly figured they must be boutique. We decided on a half dozen donuts... regardless of the type of donut you got the price was the same. By noon, there were about 15 different donuts left that they had stock of. 4 vegan ones. The donuts are about the size of a baseball in circumference. Nowadays, social media is all about size and color, this place is extremely lacking in the size department. The best donut we tried from here was a vegan coconut one, and the bake on it was a slightly different texture than the other donuts. Honestly, the only reason this place got a second star is cuz of the coconut one. Texture was actually correct and not doughy. The other 5 donuts were as follows in order of taste and textures and actual baking: cinnamon n sugar, then everything with bacon, then Homer, then pandan, then Boston cream. I should have just made donuts at home with this place being as expensive as it was. The Boston cream custard was runny af, so either add a starch slurry or slow heat and actually make it simmer to make the custard cook correctly. Like you all know this, but you CANNOT charge 4.25$ per "specialty" donut and have very bad technique. The texture of all the donuts were somewhere between a light cake-like donut and a ball of raw dough. The Vietnamese coffee was meh. We will not be back. Next time, I will just go to Safeway and buy a half dozen of day old donuts that are randomly placed in a box and slightly better baked than this place and be reminded when I only pay 5$ for the box that I won't be as disappointed as I was on kevins birthday by stopping here. No pictures, I dont like having terrible memories on my phone. Waste of 31$ for a pick your own 6 pack and an iced pint of Vietnamese coffee. Jake n kev

I pointed to the menu next to my shoulder and lingered on it as I said what my order was again. Then the young man told her to go ahead. She wasn't very strong and as I ordered a medium I was taken aback when she put like a small.scoop on the ice tray. I saw another order being made and the guy was making a medium too. It was huge by comparison. I pointed this out and the girl told me that she had yet to smoosh hers down. I'm 6'3" and looking down she was way way off. She finished my order and saw i was not happy. Aside from that she didn't ask me about the container I wanted but I wanted a cone. She assumed and gave me a cup. Then I paid and took the cup but it was slopped all over the outside and I got crap all o er my hands. She didn't care. I know labor is hard to come by but this was above and beyond poor and also borderline incompetent. I am writing this from my car on a cool 54 degree evening in May at 7:30. So sad. One last thing. The strawberries are frozen. Not crystally but frozen. As a certain dunce now famously says, C'mon man.
