Pipe too short so trap slipped down, new PVC needed
    Chris 9.

Buyer Beware - They Charge a MINIMUM ($325) for any job - per their tech. Do not use. I have the texts, emails and estimates - keep receipts. This was a very disappointing experience. Should be 5 stars but giving one as the tech did address the issue and checked other sinks after some back and forth (didn't add that extra work to my bill and said so as if they were being so courteous). and os also just one star due to the misleading (could say dishonest) approach that got me to use their services to begin with. So ONE Star it is. I have texts between myself and the owner, Kyle, where I asked what their minimum fee was to do this very simple job, from both the day before and the morning of this task. He said they don't have a minimum, they will come out and provide an estimate and then go from there. Tech arrived (early so there is the star), assessed the job, a few bucks in parts (PVC cut to length) essentially and reassemble pipe and trap under a bathroom vanity. Pro Plumber - 20 mins work. Tech estimate was $325. When I said that was ridiculous, Tech stated that is the minimum they charge for any job. SO THERE IS A MINIMUM. I am the landlord and not local over the holidays so in order to not make my tenant's life anymore inconvenient - Tech and I negotiated this to $250 - UFB. Was informed that this was the "Colorado market, which is way more than California" - my 619 area code and being the landlord I guess prompted that comment. In a nut shell, the cost is all about what they feel they can gouge folks for due to the market vice what is fair and reasonable based on the job itself, more on that later. When I tried calling Kyle, who turns out is the owner, to discuss this bait and switch "we do not have a minimum" to "$325 is the minimum we charge for any job", I got Josh the dispatcher who was clearly annoyed I was calling to speak to Kyle and told me Kyle was not available. I asked that Kyle call me back. Kyle didn't call me back but I got his Operations Manager, Brian, who explained to me that they have to make money as they pay a fee to Yelp for the referrals/service and they have a minimum they must charge to run a business. So again, he confirmed they have a minimum. Perhaps it is that I was not local at the time of the repair so they had some leverage but two things are crucial .... 1. Saying you have no minimum and then stating you have a minimum is complete BS and not a way to run a business. 2. Charging a minimum is fine but having it be $325 for 20 mins of work is absurd. Fees / Rates should also be fair and reasonable. Make a profit, earn but this fee was absolutely absurd. This company is neither fair nor reasonable and they got very defensive when I called that to their attention. I would advise all those considering Hyper Flow to shop around first as they will gouge you if given the chance. PS - upon inspecting the second and vanity the Tech noticed some corrosion around the stopper and drain under the sink. Sent an estimate to replace those parts ($15.57 @ Home Depot plus perhaps some putty) for $375 - AUFKM??? BUYER BEWARE - STEER CLEAR. I left the Tech's name out as he works for the leadership and therefore, I assume, was being a good soldier. His leadership on the other-hand deserves being called out on to the carpet for their less than transparent business practices. **** UPDATE**** Owners reply is not true - his tech said they have a minimum of $325 for any job they do. He (the tech) then asked what I thought was fair and I said, $150 (for his professional expertise and getting the work done quickly). He said no way - and then said $275 so now he's negotiating and me being simply fed up and to not bother my tenant anymore I said $250 and he agreed. What do you consider a reasonable price for the work sir?? This was a simple as helljob and you quoted a stupidly outlandish price. I only agreed to the $250 as I was not there and it wasn't my time you were wasting or imposing on - locally. You really think $325 is fair and reasonable for the work? You just spit out a number looking to get all you could given the situation. You can think you are right all you want but people will know they must be careful.

I have used them before, and as before, he offered a choice of price points; I chose the right one for me, no pressure. He did excellent and meticulous work, and installed a quality product. Also, he was a hoot, and enjoyable to work with. They are my go to company for plumbing; a family business, and woman owned, for this if you that appreciate that. Awesome!

Family-owned business and I liked the owner. I got a new home and decided to call them again, and boy I made a big mistake. Not sure what happened in the last two years but had to come back and change my review. First, they told me they would be here from 8-9. This was a time they offered up as I was trying to get them to come earlier, but decided it made more sense and since they said I would be "first up" on their schedule, I figured fine why not. At 9:20 I texted them asking what their ETA was. At that point I received a text changing my appointment to 9:30-10:30. At 10:50 a technician showed up. I showed the guy what I needed, mentioned that I'd used them before and said I just wanted the same thing they offered me last time. He said "our system is different now hold on" and he proceeds to pull out an iPad that has prices ranging from $780-$2,500 for the "platinum" package whatever the hell that means. I just needed a faucet replaced, which I thought would be no more than $400 or so (a little higher than the price I paid two years ago). He told me "well prices have increased" and I said not by that much. I asked him to explain how much of the price was parts, how much was labor, and he said it's the flat rate they charge for that job. When it became clear that he was not going to budge, I politely asked him to leave. There are so many other options, and maybe I should have been a little smarter about doing it in a cheaper way, but the way I was treated on scheduling and the company's scammy pricing was enough to have me come back and change my review.

Sewer Lines Only - Water line repair.

    Sewer Lines Only

I honestly can't say enough about this company. This is my second repair with Sewer Lines Only, a…read morecollapsed secondary line replacement in 2024 and a collapsed lateral this month on a 120+ year old duplex in Sloan Lake. I was 7 days from closing on a sale, the line was discovered during inspection. The other duplex owner was rightfully out of her mind because the line ran under her beautiful stamped patio. Sewer Lines Only recommended tunneling under the patio from my property. We had (I'm counting....) 7 very reputable sewer companies quote this job. No one else mentioned going in from the side, and when I circled back to ask, none could. SLO's quote was 25% lower than the next lowest bid (thousands in savings) and 50-75% lower than most bids. So I was hesitant. Enter Joe from SLO - a project manager or engineer? He was so confident they could do this job from the side (really confident, not salesy confident), he made himself available to me at any time to explain the work but never once called me to "seal a deal." He probably took 20 calls/texts from me. I took the gamble and got on a plane to Denver. Jerry and his team showed up promptly for the job, were professional, courteous, and thorough. The line was fixed, no patio or fence demo required. When a possible additional leak was discovered with scoping, Joe came out and confirmed personally that there was no issue. Enter Monica in Billing who went the extra mile to figure out how to split invoicing to bill the other owner her portion and free my property up for sale. And did it gladly. Intelligent, progressive solutions, lower-cost, personalized service - same as in 2024 when I worked with Cameron. They dug a trench in my garage and repatched with concrete. No issues 2+ years in. I'll never use anyone but SLO.

This was a job we have dreaded for several years. We knew a sewer line replacement was coming but…read morethe expense involved really worried us. We had the job quoted on several occasions with bids coming in from 10k to 14k and we always opted to just keep waiting and shopping. We used Yelp to start a "job" and half a dozen companies looked us up. We spoke to four of them then had Sewer Lines Only come out and talk to us. My sister had used them a year earlier and recommended them from the list of possibles. A man named Murray showed up at our house and we liked him immediately. He was honest, funny and simply very likable. He scoped our line and told us we're not in desperate need of a line replacement. We enjoyed the honesty. We had roots in our line and needed to have them cleared about once a year. Not a huge deal but the sewer backups were aggravating and always happened at terrible times. Murray worked us up a quote and we were flatly shocked and dumbfounded at the quoted price. 5k for thirty three feet of line replacement. We started wondering what the catch was. How was this possible? A full half of the best quoted price of the last three years. We took to Yelp and the BBB to research this company and the reviews were stellar as was their A+ BBB rating. A few days later I stopped in their office to accept their bid. That's where I met two more of this companies stellar staff, Monica and Kim. These two women put us further at ease this thus was going to be money well spent. A week later, Pablo showed up at our house with his crew and a skid steer. Pablo treated us like gold and was happy to learn he actually worked for Sewer Lines Only and was not a contractor. This man is a surgeon with a back hoe. They had all thirty three feet dug up and replaced in three hours. We were only minus a sewer line for three hours which really minimized our in house inconvenience. The next several hours were simply waiting for the city inspector to show up. It was very confidence inspiring when the inspector told us that he doesn't really even need to check Pablo's work as he simply never makes mistakes. The trenches were filled back in and tamped down very well. Mi sidewalks, lawn and driveway were cleaned up very well. Murray then returned and scoped the lines to make sure it was all good and he scraped the inside of our cast iron line inside the house. This was an absolutely exceptional experience from the get go. An unbeatable price and first class staff and workmanship. It's nice to have this huge worry off our backs and it came with a five year transferable warranty. Thank you Murray, Pablo, Monica and Kim from very happy customers.

Others have quoted over the phone $250-$450 (but they can't get to it until late next week at the earliest). The water heater itself would be $1500 to replace! There is no way this job was even 1/3 of $1400! He also said he DOES NOT do diagnostic for free; and that is $365 (later put in his estimate $233). So, Plumbline mis-represented that as well -- since I literally have it documented from their rep via text that they will do the diagnostic for free. All of that is highway robbery. They also wasted our workday by coming out 4 hours later than the END of the originally scheduled window of time (they did call to say they are running late). We should bill THEM for that time staying home ALL day on a workday -- instead of the planned half day. WE DO NOT recommend these guys. Seems like they are just another company that hopes folks accept an outrageous estimate because they are already in your home after accepting a $49 or Free estimate. We went with one of the quotes that are WAY LOWER and waited until they were available. Fixed for $250 TOTAL!
