Summary: Honest and straight-forward company to work with. Not only are their prices at or below what others charge, I also feel very confident that they are not upcharging for unnecessary services. Highly recommend. Sewer main replacement (clay) Oct 2024: Sewer Lines Only (SLO) scoped and replaced my outdoor 90yo clay sewer line. They said the internal cast iron was solid, and I was scheduled within the week. Hyperflow's estimate said the cast iron needed replacement. The team of 3 was on time, worked independently, and was able to put the fence back up that needed to be taken down. No issues, until 2026. Sewer main backup (May 2026): "Flushable" wipes got caught on the rough interior cast iron, and caused a backup. Fit-It-24-7 came and cleared the clog, and sent a second tech to do a scope, with the water OFF. Both techs said "Look at the high areas (yellow in the attached pic) where the cast iron is 'trenched'. The high sides are the pipe, and the in the section with the muddy water, that's where it's completely rusted through, and leaking sewage." They quoted a 8month teacher's salary to do a repair. SLO came to do a scope. The tech (Cameron - very intelligent guy) kept the water RUNNING, so his scope had a clear view of the bottom of the pipe. "The cast iron is rough, so it snagged the wipe. It's in good shape though." But - what about the trenching? "Look here - the water is clear, and you can see to the bottom and see the cast iron. What looks like a 'trench' is just decades of built up residue/oils. The pipe is beneath that (see green circle in my pic) There's no leak, but I recommend a rotary chain to resurface the cast iron, to remove rough areas that snag wipes." The cost was 99% less than the bogus quote. read more

I honestly can't say enough about this company. This is my second repair with Sewer Lines Only, a collapsed secondary line replacement in 2024 and a collapsed lateral this month on a 120+ year old duplex in Sloan Lake. I was 7 days from closing on a sale, the line was discovered during inspection. The other duplex owner was rightfully out of her mind because the line ran under her beautiful stamped patio. Sewer Lines Only recommended tunneling under the patio from my property. We had (I'm counting....) 7 very reputable sewer companies quote this job. No one else mentioned going in from the side, and when I circled back to ask, none could. SLO's quote was 25% lower than the next lowest bid (thousands in savings) and 50-75% lower than most bids. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Enter Monica in Billing who went the extra mile to figure out how to split invoicing to bill the other owner her portion and free my property up for sale. This was a job we have dreaded for several years. We knew a sewer line replacement was coming but the expense involved really worried us. We had the job quoted on several occasions with bids coming in from 10k to 14k and we always opted to just keep waiting and shopping. We used Yelp to start a "job" and half a dozen companies looked us up. We spoke to four of them then had Sewer Lines Only come out and talk to us. My sister had used them a year earlier and recommended them from the list of possibles. A man named Murray showed up at our house and we liked him immediately. He was honest, funny and simply very likable. He scoped our line and told us we're not in desperate need of a line replacement. We enjoyed the honesty. We had roots in our line and needed to have them cleared about once a year. Not a huge deal but the sewer backups were aggravating and always happened at terrible times. Murray worked us up a quote and we were flatly shocked and dumbfounded at the quoted price. 5k for thirty three feet of line replacement. We started wondering what the catch was. How was this possible? A full half of the best quoted price of the last three years. We took to Yelp and the BBB to research this company and the reviews were stellar as was their A+ BBB rating. Pablo treated us like gold and was happy to learn he actually worked for Sewer Lines Only and was not a contractor. This man is a surgeon with a back hoe. They had all thirty three feet dug up and replaced in three hours. We were only minus a sewer line for three hours which really minimized our in house inconvenience. The next several hours were simply waiting for the city inspector to show up. It was very confidence inspiring when the inspector told us that he doesn't really even need to check Pablo's work as he simply never makes mistakes. The trenches were filled back in and tamped down very well. Mi sidewalks, lawn and driveway were cleaned up very well. Murray then returned and scoped the lines to make sure it was all good and he scraped the inside of our cast iron line inside the house. This was an absolutely exceptional experience from the get go. An unbeatable price and first class staff and workmanship. It's nice to have this huge worry off our backs and it came with a five year transferable warranty. Omg... where to start? Well, we had a backup in basement and had them out. Austin was shown where backup was which was basement bathroom and laundry area. After scoping. was told fix needed at street and maybe another spot so contracted with them at over 10k. A few issues with permit but Wyatt was terrific at helping with this. After fix, problems continued. A very long and frustrating story but we have since discovered that the problem was actually the cast iron pipe in basement which was badly cracked. I was told there was a moderate belly but to clean it every 2-3 years as they did clean that. Well, what a mess now and an additional 10k spent with moving tenants with baby out for a week while smell and replacement are being done. The company was in the middle of a buy out with a large corporation so a bit of a mess. Lost videos, too many people and big fat stinky mess.Had to hire another group to rip up the cast iron and replace which was the true and real issue to begin with. I called this company to replace my main sewer line that goes from my home into the city street in Jan.2026 This company did the job promptly and charged $17,000 One month after the new line was put in, I started noticing sinkholes all over my yard. One of these holes was over 4 foot deep and 4 foot around. On April 5th, I called an irrigation company because my sprinklers would not come on. The irrigation company indicated that they believed that my sprinkler system was cut by the sewer repair company. I know this can happen, so I reached out to the sewer lines to request assistance in getting this fixed. On April 8th a very young man, came out. He looked to be maybe 18 years old. He was oblivious to where the mainline was done even though I have a huge patch of lawn missing where his company had dug up my front yard. He stood in my yard for about 10 minutes, and did not try to turn on any water. Then he stated that, " the damage couldn't have been done by "his" company or there would be sinkholes." I said OH, you mean like these 3 big holes?? He was standing about 10 feet from these giant holes in my yard. He still denied that his company caused these and left. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I waited another week and called Sewers Only back again. This time I had to leave multiple voicemails and finally got a call back after about 10 days of me calling daily.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The manager, Andrew, whom I finally spoke to said that he had a wrong number for me, so that is why it took 10 days to get a response.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In those 10 days, I received a water bill of over $300 because of the leak in my yard. On April 8th, another tech arrived and took pictures of the sinkholes in my yard, and called his manager in front of me, again without running a camera or trying to turn on any water, and I heard him telling his manager that he did not beleive that "his" comapany had caused this damage. He said he would be back on April 10th to help investigate further. He never showed on April 10th. So by April 18th I was really upset, so I paid my sprinkler company $800 to repair a pipe that had 4 clear cuts in it. It was located about 2 feet from the site where my sewer mainline was replaced. The sprinkler company, not only took pictures but also wrote a report that these pipes were not burst pipes, because the pictures clearly showed that my pipes had been cut. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was furious by April 20th and I called the main office asking for emails to all managers that could help me remedy the extra costs that I acquired from this situation and big water leak.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everyone I spoke to, stated that they would sue their boss if they were me. 3 techs I spoke with and the sales rep all mentioned that they didn't like working for this company and they all stated that they were quitting soon anyway, so they couldn't help me. Finally after sending out multiple emails, I got an email from Sergio and Monica in management, and they refused to refund me in full for the repairs because I had called a third party company to fix their mistake!! They also refused to compensate for my water bill that had been leaking for 3 months at this point. It is now May 11th and I have not received ANY REFUND, and my sprinklers are still not working!! BUYER BEWARE!! THIS IS THE MOST DISHONEST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!! Who wants to talk about sewer lines....ewwww Welp it is a fact and a reality During my home inspection ( if you buy a property I highly suggest you do so...you would be surprised how many purchasers do not do so) It was discovered that the sewer lines were broken in three places. After negotiating with the seller I had Sewer Lines give a bid and come out. While these guys are not the cheapest they are really exceptional....like they got their shit together ( I just had to throw that in). They came in dug up the concrete replaced the pvc pipe and the joint within the property. Very efficient with a minimum of inconvenience. Project took two days including the concrete repair. Sure there were minor hiccups. Dirty floors with residue of plastic flooring. But they responded quickly and resolved any concerns. We used Sewer Lines Only two years ago to replace the 80+ years old sewer line in our home, which was built in 1939. Not only was their price the best but their professionalism was outstanding. I called Sewer Lines Only about replacing my clay line, which I had been told by other professionals needed to be "immediately replaced" due to cracking/shifting. They were able to send out a technician next-day for a free estimate, which was great! The technician, Jake, arrived on time and worked quickly to scope my line. He was incredibly straightforward and explained things to me in layman's terms (super helpful for a first-time homeowner). He told me that the problem was not as urgent as others had portrayed to me - there was some standing water and roots in my line, but what I really needed for now was just a good "hydrojet" cleaning. Sewer Lines Only doesn't even do hydrojet cleanings, so he clearly didn't have an ulterior motive, and even gave me a couple recommendations for other companies. Jake took a lot of time out of his day to make sure I was fully informed, answer all of my questions, and formulate a full plan of attack for when my line would need to be replaced. Too bad my situation did not allow much time to ask around, check reviews, etc. Consumer Fraud, watch out for 'Mr. Rooter", as they will tell you they do not subcontract. *Then I ONLY scheduled a $95 snake. I pulled the toilet myself to save $150. "Rooter Town" showed up. Since I was very skeptical, ( no uniforms, spitting in my yard, muddy feet), I requested from first guy (supposed to perform snake my line only), no business card. Refused to run the snake in front of me! *Called his buddy, carrying on and on about they are a "family owned company" - Second guy comes, to scope the line and SEE what is blocking my main sewer line. I demanded to see the video and still shots, I told Austin of Rooter Town, I need to see myself- refused to let me see, his reason was, "it just goes dark ma'am, you won't be able to see anything. BUT, I insisted he has an LED light on the end of that, let me see the darkness from your scope I just got charged for. Again, no business card, unmarked vehicle, no uniform. At this point I said stop, NO, can't afford, don't have money. I was on my way to doctor appointment that I HAD to get to. Long story short, I hired Mr. Rooter to simply run a snake. Different company shows up. Second UNLISENCED "plumber" was a salesman on commission, filling out his tablet device, I was literally leaving for DR. sitting in my car, he asked me to scribble my signature on his tablet. This was so he could have his company see if they can offer financing. And permission to provide an ESTIMATE, and possibly apply for permit. All of this I knew would take time, and I would not possibly get approved, as I currently have no income! I returned home to find a 3rd company (unmarked vehicles, no business cards), leaving with back hoes. My yard is destroyed. 8ft long X 8 ft deep. I was shocked, to see they did this so fast, prior to my being able to contact my homeowners Ins company, prior to receiving any estimate, invoice..... *The back how company- (again no business cards, uniforms, unmarked vehicles,) I Spoke Espanol to the 2 gentleman leaving my property. They said they only found toilet paper, nothing more, in the line. *I called Austin, the unlicensed "plumber" salesman. He explained he did me a huge favor, and granted me a discount, BUT I CAN NOT USE MY APPLIANCES BECAUSE HE NEEDS $12,000 MORE. He said now he needs to go 33ft. from the house to the street. I can, "only use the toilet and sink". This all took place in one day. Once I reached my Home Owners Ins Company, they told me to STOP all work. * Now I had time to reach out to clients/colleagues. SEWERE LINES ONLY came highly recommended. Jake assessed my situation and scoped the lines/examined the huge hole in my yard. Jake was fantastic, and very familiar with the scam being run by unethical types, ( regarding sewer lines). * Still trying to resolve the matter. However, thanks to SEWER LINES ONLY, I did not feel forced into another $12,000 more. My appliances are able to be used, that was a scare tactic. When these things happen, it's typically unexpected. Stick with your gut when you know you only need a simple snake of the line. Be even more demanding than I was , when asking to perform in front of you! And demanding in writing prior to signing some kid's tablet you cannot read yourself. Unfortunately, my matter is not resolved, but I just recently received an email from "NEIGHBORLY" requesting me to schedule an appointment to perform work at my home on the sewer line. Yet ANOTHER COMPANY NAME! ----17 days after the fact asking if-- -asking to schedule what had already been done. If I would like for them to perform work! * So, bottom line is that I am a senior woman alone, I tried to ask all questions and be smart. Tell everyone you know to only ever use SEWER LINES ONLY!!! Second time was with Murray, we had scheduled him to come out and do a sewer line cleaning, he showed up right on time and after scoping the line he informed us that at one time some other company had broke off 3 chunks of cable in the pipe and it was sitting in the bottom of the line he explained to us that his equipment wouldn't be able to retrieve the broken cables and gave us another company's number that could water jet out the line, we called the other company they came right out and took care of the problem. TLDR: Great company, would hire again, highly recommend. I needed the sewer line replaced in my house last year (November 2021). I called a few places to get quotes on the job and Sewer Lines Only was the only one to get back to me. They came out quickly to scope the line and had a quote over in similar fashion. The quote was reasonable and I opted to hire them to do it. The job took two days (as planned and agreed upon). The first day to do the interior of the house (had to reroute the line in the basement), and the second was to dig down to the line and connect the new pipe to the city's line. They did a great job with all permitting, inspections, and got the work done in a timely fashion. Their employees were friendly and worked quickly. Some of the folks I interacted with were ESL speakers and I'm a monolingual English-only speaker, so communication was a bit difficult at times, but they were very nice and it didn't really matter; I'm a fan of charades. Indoor and outdoor crews did a great job cleaning up after themselves and left the house in good condition. A bit of criticism on their interior crew's job (although to be clear this was rectified very quickly)... My house has an old foundation made of masonry blocks. They had to punch a hole through it to run the new pipe out and when sealing up the hole, their interior crew did a pretty bad job. I contacted the office and they had someone here early the next morning to patch it properly - no arguing and quite a few apologies on it. Overall, I actually consider this a positive trait in a company. They owned up to the mistake and remedied it IMMEDIATELY. I personally like reading anecdotes like this in reviews, because it illustrates what a company does in a sub-optimal circumstance. Fast-forward to about a month ago (10ish months since the original job), I found a leak in the basement. It looked to be coming from the new sewer line, but to be completely honest I'm not entirely clear if it was or not (again slight language barrier with the crew, sometimes details gets lost). Whether it was the line Sewer Lines Only installed leaking or not, they were at my house in 2 days to fix the problem. My plumbing vocabulary isn't broad, so my descriptions here might be lacking, but they installed a piece of pipe to pressure test the system and subsequently replaced a pretty big chunk of the sewer line. Now, the reason that I say it is unclear if their line was leaking or not is because their crew found another leaking pipe which ran above the new line and was dripping onto it. This pipe was connected to a shower drain and was not replaced when they did the original job last year, so not within the scope of their warranty (or their fault at all). They replaced it anyway free of charge and took care of the leak. No more drips here. So, again, I personally think this reflects well on this company. They honored their warranty (very quickly) and fixed something that wasn't even under the purview of that warranty. The kind of folks you want to do business with. To summarize, I would absolutely, unequivocally hire them again to do the same job, so please don't take either of my anecdotes above as "negative press". We had the main line to our sewer replaced a couple of months ago. Sewers Only was responsive and thorough with the quote, and the estimate was fair. The men who showed up to do the work were courteous and professional. Time will tell how the new line holds up, but I'm quite pleased at the moment. read more

After researching sewer line repair companies I was excited to work with Sewer Lines Only until their estimate doubled. We first had an estimate for $8600 for pipe bursting a sewer line in Wash Park. My insurance company reached out for details and was told Denver conditionally approved the pipe burst since it was under a structure. A few days later they want to send out a more experienced (lead) estimater. They rescoped the line and told me we'd have to dig a new line. Ok, I can understand why due to the condition of the old pipe and the slope. They tell me it will be 2-3k additional, again....ok since it's more work. They tell me I'll get the estimate later in the afternoon. 3 days later I reach out to ask what's up? They send the estimate over and it's 6k more. $14800 from 8600. Now they know I'm against a closing deadline and this is why I feel This company is deceptive. They tried putting the screws to me with this tight dead line. I asked why the estimate was almost 50% more and they tell me the lead foreman says the Denver soil is hard to work with! I guess my advice is find someone that isn't going to take advantage of your timeframe and is familiar with the soil in Denver. read more
