THE BEST!!! How can I convince everyone reading this to use this group of people and company Rooter Guys? Let's start from the beginning. -- I got the pleasure of first meeting Jeff who came out to do an estimate. Jeff had this genuine confidence about his experience, his team and his company (which was really nice since my 1940s home had a lot of plumbing issues. Essentially we needed everything replaced!). On top of that, he and his team gave me an estimate that was beyond competitive. Rooter Guys truly want to help their customers and not take all the money since they understand house projects and repairs are a huge headache physically and financially. Next he brings out the team Lead Jacob (this guys KNOWS his stuff and years of experience), amazing Cody, and awesome Austin to get another eye over on what their going to do like double checking their work. All three of the workers were also very kind and helpful if I had any questions or concerns. They even would go out of their way to show me pieces that they needed to repair, educate me on what to look out for or what pipes are which, levers, etc. Rooter Guys even found a blocked ground pipe that was so important to replace so that our basement/foundation would not die from water damage. I had so much anxiety because I was thinking "Oh great. Another expensive bill!!" But no, THEY TOOK CARE OF ME! They were efficient and clean in their work. They communicated and educated every step of the way. They were so professional and nice at the same time. They are licensed and have a warranty. RooterGuy ( Jacop & Cody) to the rescue! We did an addition to our home 20yrs ago. We are using a hot water heater for our radiant heating system. After using RooterGuy to fix a busted pipe, we were happy to use them to replace our broken water heater. Jacop & Cody were the two technicians that came to help us. Both of them were very knowledgeable on fixing the Antiquated system! They were very respectful and polite answering my questions making me feel included. They were not offended by me covering the work area. They were very neat, clean & timely in what appeared to be a very complicated job. I reached out via Angi to see about finding a plumber to replace my pressure reducing valve that was leaking. Of course I received 5 or replies from the usual suspects. I at first called Applewood who has done some HVAC work for me in the past but they would not give me an estimate over the phone. So after speaking to some of these other companies it was the same scenario--we won't quote on the phone as every job is different and they need to see it. This was the same with RooterGuy. All the people I spoke to were obviously just appointment setters. Anyway, someone from RooterGuy followed back up with me that was a plumber or at least knowledgeable about the job and he gave me range in price, which I appreciated. RooterGuy was also not going to charge me a trip fee ($29-$49 from other companies) to come look and give me an accurate estimate. So I decided to have them come out and look. The plumber that did come gave me a price that was over the high end of the range provided on the phone. We went back in forth for a minute and the plumber called back to the office and spoke to the person I had gotten that price range from. Anyway, it was decided they would do the job for $595 which was about $120 less than what was quoted from the plumber on site (or the midpoint of the range provided on the phone). They were here and could do the job and I felt like that was a fair price. There were a couple of things the plumber did that I was not happy about (hence the reason for 4 stars and not 5), but in the end it appears they did a good job and so far, no leaks. I would most likely call them again as they do seem to have slightly better pricing than some of the other Bigger names seen in Denver (Applewood, Bell, Plumbline etc). read more

I have used RooterGuy for many years and I just realized I haven't done a Yelp review. I should have done it a long time ago! These guys are absolutely the best. In particular, I always use Gary for most of my plumbing jobs, mostly because I have gotten to know him well over the years and he's handled some pretty crazy stuff. I'm a landlord and most of my headaches are from plumbing issues. That's why I always go with RooterGuys, because I know they will fix things right the first time. They aren't the least expensive, nor are they anywhere near the most expensive. Don't go for the cheapest plumbing bid when you have a job. Took me 3 trys with 3 different companys to finally get the drain unclogged. Rooter guy is the 3rd one I called and who got it fixed on the 1st trip instead of needing to come back in 2 days. I cant say enough good things about Eric. My house is old, has wierd plumbing compemented by huge trees all around. The clog wasent where we thought it was, he had to figure out where it was then fix it. He took pics of the plumbing in the crawl space & explained it to me. They lied to me. They got a snake stuck in my drain and they just left it there, refused to remove it. It cost me $500 to have another plumber remove it and they refused to reimburse me. Now I have to take them to small claims court. Total pain. read more

My shower drain was running slow. I contacted RooterGuy and they sent a plumber - Ruben Gallegos - out the same day. Unlike many other plumbing companies, which charge a fee just to walk in the door, RooterGuy bases their fees only on the service performed and quotes a price after they assess the problem. (There is no charge just for showing up.) Ruben Gallegos is a very competent and personable young man who cheerfully and quickly cleared the drain for a very reasonable price. He even introduced me to a harmless but effective enzyme-based product that I can use to prevent further clogs. I would definitely used their services again. read more

I had been red tagged by Excel installing a new meter. I got several estimates 5 exactly. Gary from Rooter Guy showed up on time and was on top of his game. Gary is experienced, knowledgeable, and articulate. I showed him what my issue was per Excel. He took a walk through and looked at my plumbing and came in with a reasonable estimate and offers of repair on a few other items I was aware of, but hoping to put off. The city approved work right away. The work was done well and professionally. Gary reviewed what had been done and left me with recommendations when the city replaced my water supply line. I have used RooterGuy for small projects before, and they were great, so when I decided to replace my water heater, I knew I was calling RooterGuy. Jacob is very knowledgeable in water heaters. I decided I wanted to go with a tankless unit. Other plumbers told me it would be near impossible or very difficult and expensive to do the installation. Jacob came to do an initial inspection and told me it could be done. He was thorough with inspection, and he found that my water pressure was high and I had no PRV on the day of the installation Jacob showed up on time and with the help of Coty they both took out my out my old water tank i now have a tankless Jacob made it happen, if you need a plumbing company call the RooterGuy they are fast to send a tech and they are honest and there prices are competitive. Hard to pick a place to start, but this company employs aggressive and abusive plumbers who treat women poorly. Kieth gave an estimate to replumb the home I was buying in December 2020. Obviously, this quote was part of the home purchase negotiations. I called him before closing on the home to ensure we were on the same page with what needed to be done and to ask how long the quote was good for. He told me one year. When I had them out April 2021 to complete the work, he argued about the scope (loudly yelling at me in my own home and saying I misunderstood and that he never spoke with me). I ended up asking him to leave my property and requested a call from the manager. The manager was kind and apologetic, and completed everything himself. As of today, I have had to replace multiple parts of this job with another plumber, including the exterior hose bibs that were installed backwards, and held water into the winter, eventually exploding. Today, the water heater they installed started falling apart. So, overall, a pretty awful company. I highly advise using literally anyone else if you're looking for help, especially if you're a woman or someone who does not wish to be screamed at in their home. read more

I've used Rooterguy for nearly 15 years on rentals. They are often fairly priced, particularly on the larger projects like sewage line replacement. They are always responsive and get the job done correctly on the first try in almost every case or they come back and certainly have it shortly after the first visit. We have mostly worked with Gary over the years, but they've brought a lot of great talent on board recently as well. I particularly like that they have been there for me at some inconvenient times, though I never wish to call them at such times. Paid $930 to have the plumber tell me there was a crack in the elbow joint, $495 of that was to "correct" a gas line pipe, of which I did not approve and the work that was supposed to be done was never pointed out to me. Will stop payment on the check until someone can point out the work that I was charged for and yes, still have the cracked elbow joint after a quote of $2700 to fix it and other issues the plumber thought needed to be addressed. After back and forth on what was going to happen i.e., new toilet or replacing flapper and fill valve, it was decided with a very patient, 'Ron the Plumper' to replace the inners of the toilet and I'm very pleased with his work. He noticed that my toilet wasn't ready to go to Dumpsterland. The company 'RooterGuy' gave me a very fair price and I definitely will call on them again. I didn't give them the full five star since there was some pricing negotiations and understanding why charges are being applied but I do appreciate that they came out on a Saturday and got the job done. I called a few plumbers for some minor projects that I have been wanting to do in my house. Rooter Guy had fantastic service from the moment I called, to the completion of the project. They came out to provide a free estimate for the work, which I appreciated since I was requesting quotes from a few companies. Brent came to my house mere days after calling the office and provided a quote to switch our garbage disposal and snake a clogged basement bathroom drain. The quote was completely fair and Brent was very nice to deal with. We called back two or three days later to schedule the work and then Brent came back out on a snowy Tuesday to complete the work. Saved my family from hell with another company RooterTown and Master Rooter. Rootertown snaked our main drain found a rootball and left, with it still clogged had them back out, pulled out another part of the Rootball but wasn't under their warranty so they said I had to pay for a scope too. They claimed that the pipe was collapsed. I had Rooter Guy come out and Don was very adamant that he could break thru the clog and he did. He scoped it and no collapsed pipe. There was a minor crack in a totally different area and it will need to be addressed outside of this emergent situation. This company rocked it and has my future business just because they care about the customer first NOT how they could con a family out of $10000. So, this review is actually from way back on 6/16/16. I apparently reviewed a RooterGuy in CA not the one I used in CO and meant to review... Here's the review I posted. I still mean every word. Chris is great! He came out yesterday to take a look at what needed to be repaired (entire toilet reset) and what would be needed... It was going to be a tough job given how the toilet was grouted down and a few other factors... He came early the next day ready to work. He worked hard, was extremely friendly, and knew what he was doing. He made sure he was efficient but got things done properly. Even when some sink pipes broke unexpectedly for what was supposed to be an easy repair, he fixed it quickly. RooterGuy Plumbing is very fair in their pricing and based on Chris, excellent licensed plumbers. I'll be calling RooterGuy again with any future plumbing issues! read more

Wow. Most unprofessional company I have dealt with in a long time. Gary J. Showed up at our house to give an estimate on the sewer line. First thing he does is uses our bathroom and leaves a huge mess after taking a #2. Then he hits on my 9 month pregnant wife. Then refuses to use the scoping video we already had and told us it would be $225 to re-scope after I was already told a re-scoping wasn't necessary. Then says our chain link fence is flimsy and needs replaced and that he is writing that in his report. WTF. I cant speak to quality of work, but in my experience, the quality of employees is usually a direct reflection of what you can expect. Would avoid. read more

A COMPANY THAT KNOWS HOW TO RIP YOU OFF! Our one of the toilets were clogged, so we called them. The guy said it will take him some time to take care of that, so he will charge us $125. My husband agreed and the guy started working on the toilet. He was done in less than 10 seconds and guess what, WE GOT RIPPED OFF!!!!! Moreover, he even damaged our toilet. I was doing some research to determine pricing for a sewer line replacement and I made the mistake of putting my information in HomeAdvisor. They gave my info to this company and they called, emailed, and left voicemails 6 times each in the last 24 hours. On the last call I answered to have them remove me from their call list as any customer would after being harassed like that. The woman calling me told me I was wrong and they they only called 3 times then promptly hung up on me. No idea if they do quality work or not but I frankly don't care if they treat customers like that. read more
