Not impressed yet. I called and emailed yesterday and still have not heard back. I found their number on a sticker on the heater, not sure who installed it. I thought I would have had at least received an email to let me know when they'd be calling. Have already called another company, spoke to a person and made an appointment within three hours. Just had a conversation with Russ who was very apologetic that no one called me back. I want to make it clear that my review concerned only their communications issue. First off, I always shop home repairs at HomeAdvisor.com and have never had a bad experience in the ten or so jobs I've hired out thru them. See homeadvisor.com. So when I needed my sump pump repaired, I came by way of RooterGuy. Gary showed up on time, evaluated my situation and gave me some options. Given the cost of the full blown repair, we decided to take a more conservative approach and see how things went. A couple of weeks later, I called Gary back and told him my problem wasn't resolved and we agreed to take the more costly next step. This was one of those jobs that could have been an episode of "Dirty Jobs" but Gary got it done and I haven't had a problem since. Great service at a fair price. I really appreciated Gary's sense of integrity. He wasn't there to up sell me. He is very dependable, courteous and trustworthy. You can't ask for anything more than that! read more

I called Rooterguy LLC to replace a outdoor faucet (hose bib). I had a Woodford faucet and needed it replaced because it was not opening. Home Depot had the same faucets for $33. Brent with Rooterguy said his cost was $60. He would charge $325 initially to replace the faucet. The final bill was negotiated $275. While Brent was here he indicated that the pressure on our line was 100 PSI. Brent recommended installing a new pressure reducing valve for $530 to reduce the pressure. I called Mathew Rabii for a 2nd quote who as it turns out he is the owner of A-Reliable Plumbing and prefers to be the first contact with the company for his customers. He and his assistant Mark showed excellent customer service while they were here. Matthew evaluated the situation and quickly determined we did not need a new pressure valve, all we needed was a crescent wrench to adjust the current valve to a lower pressure. The pressure was reduced from 100 PSI to 70 PSI. Matthew only charged for a visit to the house $90 - versus Rooterguy who would have charged $530. Seems as though we would have been greatly overcharged by Brent with Rooterguy. I highly recommend A-Reliable as a honest, fast and friendly company who I fully recommend for plumbing service. The guy that came out to fix it was not aware of parts that that needed to be replaced. So the work was not completed has we thought after he left. Russ took care of the problem right away. After a backup, I asked these guys to come and "snake" shower and tub in basement (neither is used more than once per year). The guy snaked the tub and reluctantly snaked the shower after saying there is no blockage; he charged $250. When I asked why there would be a backup if there is no detectable blockage, he suggested a camera guy come out; that guy didn't show when scheduled but came back after a second call. He said the main drain (which had been replaced for $8000 several years ago) is underwater because of a "dip" and should be replaced again! For $3500 or thereabouts. He said he would refund my $250 and has never called back..... So far, I can't say they are competent or reliable read more

I recently bought a house and as soon as we moved in had plumbing issues. The water would back up. We called rooterguy on Thanksgiving at 9pm and Jeremy showed up snaked the line and got us through the holiday. 3 days later same issues rooterguy sent Kyle to do a free sewer scope and found the issue. This company was recommended by a friend who has properties she manages. I needed a service line replaced. They went above and beyond the call of duty. They had to tear apart my yard and were able to put it right back... retaining wall and all. Funny thing, I had Applewood come out for a quote at the same time (awkward). Applewood didn't even inspect anything. They just gave me a sales pitch and a ridiculously high quote (that they "give everyone" for this). 9,400. I kid you not. They wouldn't replace the landscaping either. RooterGuy showed up, looked around; whipped out some tools; crawled into the crawl space; then, after Applewood left and gave me a lovely notepad and magnet, told me that a valve needed replacing, there was a gas line running parallel and yada yada yada. Safety was a concern. He walked me through the entire process including where he would lay the dirt. His quote was a third of the price. He met all promises. He also took care of things that weren't on his list. There is absolutely no way that I would go with anyone else - ever. Gordon is my new hero. read more

Few companies deserve 5 stars as much as this company does. I like this company and the people who work for it for too many reasons. It is refreshing to have a company in this business that makes an honest living by sticking to their quotes, being reasonable, and keeping their promises. I also trust their judgment and I think that they have dynamic and effective ways to keep really big jobs reasonably priced. I've used this company on three different large jobs and they have so impressed me on each one. Their consistent reliability has earned significant repeat business from me. My own business was recently runner up for one of the highest BBB ethics awards in the Denver/Boulder area... Next year, if they get their name in the mix, I think RooterGuy would have a good shot at BBB. I took at look at their A+ BBB rating before hiring them. I could not agree more. Nice work! read more

So we moved forward with purchasing a new W/D and had it installed downstairs. On the first load, the drain backed up and started spewing water all over our basement. We turned the machines off, got everything cleaned up and instantly called RooterGuy. Kyle was able to come out the next day to look into everything. He started by making sure it wasn't a volume issue, so put water down the drain. Up the drain comes muddy, black water. Got that cleaned up with the Shop Vac and decided to snake the drain to get whatever it was out of the way. Started by going down the pipe where the washer drains and then decided to move down the pipe to snake through a Studor vent towards the drain. Opened the vent, started snaking and sure enough, out comes the same muddy, black water all over. Clog was definitely loose. We started running water into the drain and eventually the water ran clear and free to the main. Seems like someone poured sand or some sort of similar material down the drain and it solidified in the P-trap. Once everything was cleaned up, we started the machine and Kyle stayed to watch it drain a few times to make sure all was good. We've since done four loads of laundry with no issue whatsoever. I called them up and explained my problem IN VERY SPECIFIC DETAIL and they assured me that they could help me. When the appointment time came and went the next day, I had to call them up to ask where they were. After putting me on hold for a while, they assured me that their plumber would be there sometime in the next two hour window. They were stuck at another job. About an hour later I get a call back saying that they were stuck at the other job and couldn't get to me today but could they come the next day. Having no choice, as I could not find somebody else to work on my specific equipment that could come before them, I agreed to the next appointment. Finally the appointment time came and the plumber showed up and after spending about 30 seconds looking at my stuff he retreats to his truck to make a phone call. He then comes back and says "I can't work on your equipment, we don't do this kind of stuff". So after wasting two full days of my time and costing me lots of money in lost revenue, they couldn't help me out. Stay away! They are disorganized and unprofessional. read more
