The menu is somewhat limited and doesn't really have much in the way of Irish food on it, but that's OK. I don't like much in the way of Irish food. What it does have is amazing smash burgers. They're grilled with mustard on them, which creates a really amazing savory flavor. The bacon cheeseburger smash burger is just the right size, and I love that you can upgrade the side from fries to some crispy tater tots. I've had trouble finding those in most of the pubs around here. The indoor vibe is classic Irish pub, and there's also a sidewalk patio. The bar service was terrific, and they've got all of the things you'd expect for an Irish pub, including excellent Guinness on tap and real Irish coffee made with Tullamore Dew.

On the day of the event, everything was done well - we preordered food and that came out fairly quickly, the server they had assigned for our group (Irina) did a wonderful job making sure everyone had their drinks. The setting is incredible as one of the organizers wanted to showcase that beautiful Vancouver views. Food was a good representation of the multicultural fabric that is Vancouver - Beet dip with Naan, Beef sliders, Fish tacos. It is pub food and it was great. We also ordered drinks and there was a surprising spectrum of drinks available for less than 15 dollars covering all categories (beer, wine, zero proof and cocktails). The restaurant helped us stay within our event budget and the server regularly coordinated with me to make sure I was informed. We were also able to get an itemized receipt easily after. If you're planning an event consider Mahony's as they did a great job all around making it a success. Our participants really loved the convenience of the location which allowed them to take public transportation like Skytrain, Seabus or Rideshares/Taxis home easily after.

About 10-15 other patrons inside. "Just to let you know, we're closing our kitchen in 5 minutes". Business hours listed open until 11pm on Fridays - Happy Hour starts at 9pm..... But you want to close the kitchen at 8:55pm? We asked if they were willing to even cook anything more or honor a large happy hour order of food and drinks since they're cutting it off. Manager came over to tell us no, they're shutting down early. We responded that we'll just leave then. He said, "Ok great!" We grab our things and head out at 8:55pm and several mice scurry past us.
