We came to check out the EV charger and the Marketplace Grille Express. I believe the EV chargers are free but with level 2 charging plan on spending a few hours shopping to get enough charge to make it back home. I specifically wanted to checkout the Biscuits and Gravy. I tried the one on the menu that included eggs. It was served in a skillet shaped dish with the hashbrowns on the bottom, then the biscuits, then the gravy and then the eggs. l really don't like breakfast assembled like that. The hash browns were good. The egged were good. The gravy was good . The biscuits could have been good but they were overcooked, dark brown and crusty on the outside. The coffee is self served and they were out of decaf. The people were friendly and helpful otherwise they might have gotten one less star. This is our first time here but I'm impressed. It is a step below Byerlys bit several steps above all the other grocery shopping options. read more

We went to the Market place to eat tonight and were very disappointed. Ate Asian food and it was ok but nothing special. We sat in a booth that was dirty and lots of crap under on the floor. The garbage bins were overflowing the bar had a lot dirty glasses jutting sitting on the bar. We got an extra plate and it was dirty. He had to look through a lot of plates to find a clean one. The gal at the bar eventually cleaned the glasses but I saw a guy pick up a few dishes and not clean the table and just looked at the overflowing garbage bin. not really inclined to go back there at any time. read more

I'm 73 and have Parkinsons... so I'm not the speediest customer in the world... So, this February, some middle-aged Karen thought the 15-20 seconds to wait for me was too long. She started putting her groceries on the checkout roller while i was finishing mine. Then she griped at me. When she saw me in line the next week she complained to the front end manager and the front end manager came over to see if I needed help. I said no and thanked her. A month or so later she came to the checkout I was at... double checked to make sure I had had the two cases of soda zapped... which I had. I went back this last Friday and things were busy and the same front end manager moved me to the under 12 items line. I have trouble standing or walking and have to be careful about where I go and don't go. So, wondering what's going to happen next, I'll by my groceries somewhere else. read more

I love this Hy-Vee even though it's a little further away from the closest one to me in Plymouth. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a huge candy area and beauty area. I love the fuel saver program. I went to fuel up and paid less then $3 a gallon. Parking is plentiful. read more

I was so excited when Hy-Vee came to Maple Grove! Hy-vee is a Midwest favorite and this location covers it all. While the price points on some items can be a little higher, the weekly sales and fuel savers help offset that if you're willing to watch for the deals. The Starbucks and market fresh area are a nice place to grab a drink or quick meal and they even have a bar if you're looking for something stronger. This location has a sushi station, gourmet cheese and meat area, seafood and meat counter as well as a florist shop amongst other things. Even through the pandemic this location was doing its best to keep shelves stocked and customers safe as we moved through the aisles. I've never had a bad experience here (other than maybe my personal frustration with self check out on occasion ). Although I don't so all my shopping here, it definitely wins for location, convenience, cleanliness and the helpful smiles in every aisle read more

Another beauty from Hy-Vee! A little different footprint, but easy to shop and a comfortable feel throughout the store and liquor store too. I liked the dollar and price drop aisle near the front, many choices available there too. No restaurant, but ample specialty foods and a nice sit down area to eat. If you like sweets, there are plenty of choices in creative treats as well as traditional candies. Produce is smaller than Brooklyn Park store, but was easy to navigate and had tables for more Of the displays. There's a bath section that has a deep and varied selection that should serve almost anyone's wants and needs. An excellent selection of cards and accessories. The only thing I didn't look for there was post cards... next time I'll check that. Worth a visit! read more

I needed help and two young people jumped to help me find my lamb chops : very expensive , I did not buy (tonight), But I bought angus beef. Nice parking. No businesses around except this place. We have been fortunate that HyVee has arrived in Maple Grove. I know it is hard to operate in this current environment and applaud the company for its effort during the pandemic. Part of HyVee's cachet is the restaurant and bar. This area needs to be improved. They have one outstanding bartender on staff named Lisa. However, if Lisa isn't here, the bar generally goes unstaffed, and the manager isn't trained on bar operations nor are they even familiar with the menu. It's fun to walk here from my home, grab a beverage and then pick up items to bring home. It seems this place is designed expressly for that purpose. I would suggest that management get trained on the products and services, and that they get familiar with restaurant operations. Key to any successful bar is to maintain consistent hours of service. Also, I suggest they do whatever they have to to retain their lone outstanding bartender and to mount a serious search for more staff. The wings are usually good, but with Lisa not here they must have their eye off the ball. See photo. The whiskey selection and beer selection is amazing when you remember you are in a grocery store. I was lucky enough to find a place within three days of my sons girlfriends senior prom. They said they were able to put a wrist corsage together and have it ready Friday morning. I was very pleased. Unfortunately, although it was beautiful, it wasn't quiet the way I was explained it would be. I was told it would have a new wristband when in fact it had silver. We did five miniature roses with two pearl sprays and minimal greenery. The young couple was very disappointed as the flowers were falling right out of the corsage when they went to dinner beforehand, by the time they arrived to the senior prom, there were only two flowers left in tact. This review is on my experience with the bakery & pre made food available at the deli counter...The food looks old & unappetizing. The items that I have actually tried taste the way that they look. I now take a hard pass on all of these items when I'm shopping there. I purchased a variety of the deli salads for a picnic & not one of them was better than mediocre. HyVee is touting pickup and delivery to help with the current situation of COVID-19. Why is HyVee making it NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE to do so?? There are NO available time slots to pick up from either Maple Grove MN, Brooklyn Park MN, New Hope MN or Plymouth MN for the next week and 1 slot last week (March 9-13) that was filled immediately! All the other grocers in the area have all day times available to pickup. When you reach out to HyVee they are stating that they are overwhelmed with the demand, just giving excuses and double talk, no action. All the other grocers in the area have all day open to drive up and do pickup, they are overwhelmed as well but doing a good job with keeping up with the demand during these trying times of March 2020. Since there is next to no one shopping in the actual stores why cant they relocate the staff so that pickup is available?? We ordered from our Maple Grove, Minnesota HyVee two full two person prime rib dinners for our Christmas dinner, questioned the person giving it to us to make sure there were two full dinners, drove 3 hours in terrible storm roads to pick it up, only to discover on Christmas day when going to reheat it that there was only one two person meal, which we paid for. When we called for a credit and to complain they told us we had to drive back to the store with a receipt (which we no longer had) in order to receive a credit. We had two people who had to eat leftovers from our refrigerator. Not happy at all with Customer Service. read more

My dad and i went to try the restaurant. Restaurant is set up very well. That's the only good thing. We sat for 15 minutes before ANYONE came to offer drinks. We ordered coffee and water. However. because I spoke to Jeremy over the phone, and he was the most professional guy I could have talked to. Amazing attitude, and amazing outlook on the protests.
