Super selection of zero proof!
Julia S.

It has been a while since I've reviewed Lunds and Byerlys. I'll cut right to the point: still love it. This is a grocery store that feels somehow like a bit more than a grocery store. I highly recommend a cruise around the perimeter, even if you don't necessarily need anything specific. You'll find lovely flowers and fun gifts, one of the best cheese departments in town, a bakery full of delicious and festive treats (don't miss their magnificent donuts!), a wealth of choices in the deli and hot bar, and a picture perfect produce department. The middle aisles aren't to be missed, either--amazing variety in all departments, and some harder-to-find ingredients, too. If you're a cook or baker, definitely check out the baking and spice sections. It's bright and clean, and the service is always excellent--it is a real treat to come in.

Mashed potatoes (2 for 1 this week)

Love this store, they frequently bring in new brands and foods. This week I tried Resers Main Street mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. So great to pop one the microwave when I'm too tired to cook. Tasted great! Thanks Lunds and Byerlys!

I don't go to Lunds & Byerlys often but I really love this store. Their food is always so fresh. This was my first time trying their food Buffett and it was amazing. It was a little pricey but worth it.

Just wanted to give a thanks to the lady at the sushi bar. I had never tried a bao bun before and asked her for help. It was delicious. Glad I tried. Thanks for all the times I've come to your store. You guys rock!

Prime location, surrounded by rocketing community. Quality items and product. I won't return to any Lunds & Byerlys. The customer service is -20 in every location I go to. Sadly this location is the same way. This location is connected to a restaurant. Huge space in its entirety.

They have some fantastic alcohol alternatives, including kava and CBD (including--hooray!--THC-free options) for those in need of chill in a can. Today, though, I want to focus on why I will be making many more visits for the foreseeable future. My friends, the Andes Gifts textiles are in. I repeat: Andes Gifts knitted goods are in! If you know, you know. If you don't, let me tell you. These fair-trade knitted accessories are not only warm as heck (thanks to the fleece-lined alpaca) but also absolutely darling. With everything from headbands to flippers to socks, you will find something to keep your extremities toasty. I personally favor the animal hats (and have purchased at least a dozen over the years). Available in sizes for kids and adults, these unique hats are guaranteed to get you smiles and giggles when gifted (or worn). New this year are knitted hand puppets that I am absolutely going to use as mittens, because life is too short to not do the little things that delight you.

The store is right next to a kosher sushi spot which is pretty convenient for those who keep kosher. When I walked in, it was quite crowded with a lot of other Jews ( I am also Jewish) which I always take as a great sign, but the selection was super limited compared to what I am used to and the prices were incredibly high for most normal items. I know there is always a large markup for kosher items, but this was significantly higher than I have seen before and seemed to apply to items which are generally kosher by default like oil and other regular household supplies. Furthermore, a lot of the items have no price tag - especially the freezer section which made me have no idea what I was going to pay until I got up front. I ended up leaving with a box of frozen knishes (7.99) and a refrigerated pair of knishes (4.99). The refrigerated section knishes were delicious, I heated them back up in the oven when I got home and really enjoyed it. Much better than the knish I had at Cecil's. But as a store, the prices are way too high for me to give a higher rating even though it is nice to see a kosher store.

I came in here wanting something fermented and found just what I was looking for: spicy kimchi. I was delighted to see that they have a great selection of fish-free kimchis along with the traditional anchovy and shrimp containing kinds. There's even a local brand that looks intriguing (next time). I also perused the gift section and bought myself a new lunch bag. I admired the gorgeous alpaca items--the hats are fun and they have some of the most gorgeous knots I've ever seen. Don't miss their mittens and gloves: warm, beautiful, and oh-so-functional (you can fold the tops off for extra dexterity!). I also went through the supplements and beauty section and bought some vitamins (I do love my vitamins) and a lip balm. The lip balms here are all really good, and it's easy to find petroleum free if you prefer. All the ones that I looked at were largely plant-based, though many contain beeswax. Very friendly staff and ample parking make this a great place to grab yourself a treat. (While I wasn't shopping for produce today, I love to go through the produce section. They have an excellent selection of everything, including a wide selection of fresh mushrooms and fresh kale that you can't find in most stores. They also have bulk fresh cranberries! It's a great place to let your culinary imagination run wild (and make your dreams come true if you are so inclined).
