It's been way too long since I have sent Jerry's some love. They deserve every bit of it! This is my favorite grocery store in the area for a whole host of reasons, chief among them the awesome selection and service. This well-lit, well-organized store has an amazing selection in every department, from gorgeous produce, including seasonal delights like persimmons, to an awesome bakery (truly beautiful treats in the case) to an excellent selection of cheeses to a spice department that will make your favorite cook smile. You can always find great deals on both staples and special ingredients thanks to regular sales, so it's worth cruising the aisles even when you came in with a list. You'll also find a respectable selection of international foods here, along with a pretty rocking selection of foods for those following special diets (gluten-free, vegetarian/vegan, low-carb, and more!).

Awesome 1st experience! Very clean store, with helpful employees, amazing selection of meats, fish, marinades, produce, take home or eat in food, even has sushi , and a Starbucks. It's more upscale than a Cub or Target, but not higher priced end like a Kowalaki's. They offer a drive up to help you easily load groceries instead of pushing your cart to the car. You'll get quality products at a reasonable price. I'll definitely be back.

Take notes on the daily deals

Okay, so If Lund's and Cub Foods had a baby = it would be named Jerry. Jerry's Food is your neighborhood grocery store trying to be a little more upscale. You won't find Aldi's prices or Walmart level markdown on milk. In the 'dining area' - it's a place you'll see the suburban high schoolers trying to change the scenery as they do online high school and the seniors flocking for daily deli deal hot items. With that said - the deli deals are pretty good and I enjoy the desserts ... it shows with my winter quarantine weight. You can shop cheaper if really needed but you have to use coupons and really know what you're looking for. I don't have any gripes about Jerry's, it's a 'safe' place to shop, teenagers will bag your groceries, and you'll enjoy the salad bar and side items. If you're looking to easily pinch pennies on your grocery bill - I would look elsewhere though...

Great selection of snacks

Great food at high prices. Always clean and they even have drive up. They have great selection but if you want to save money, go to Cub or Target. Tuesday's: they have discounted sushi!

The eating area inside Jerry's Foods, in Edina.
Perry S.

The fact that the restaurant inside Jerry's supermarket in Edina is listed in Yelp as "Jerry's Foods" and in Trip Advisor as "Jerry's Enterprises Incorporated" is too bad, but telling. Perhaps people don't expect a restaurant inside a supermarket to be very good. I beg to differ. My experience with restaurants inside Lunds and Byerly's and, I'm told, Hy-Vee, never disappoint. Nor should they; after all, these upsale grocery stores have acess to the very same quality ingredients they sell. So, when we were trying to decide where to get a bite after a long day, one of our party suggested "Jerry's". I'm glad we did. The restaurant offers a huge salad bar, sushi, hot entrés, pizza, burgers, tacos, grilled chicken, pot pies and a wide variety of sides. And, from our experience, all good and very reasonably priced. The chicken pot pie is jammed full of huge chunks of chicken along with peas, carrots and other vegies in a tasty sauce. It's about 7" in diameter and for $6.95, a bargain. The 2 fish taos are huge and filled with large portions of fish. The Asian turkey burger is enormous and tasty. The eating area is large and airy, and the corner fireplace hit the spot on the chilly day we were there. Jerry's is an incredible value. You will not leave hungry. I would not hesitate to return. I would encurage Jerry to give his restaurant a proper name so people can find it easily in a Google search.

Jerry's breakfast

First time I have ever eaten here. I had the Jerry's breakfast. Two eggs, hash browns, 3 sausage links and cinnamon bread. It's reasonably priced and delicious. You order it , and they deliver it to you. I will be back!

Good Food and very good service! Went to the Eden Prairie location. If I had more money I'd shop there weekly!

The Hilltop, somewhat west of the 50th and France downtown vibe, is the epitome of what a bar and grill should be. There are multiple TVs to watch games, the staff is fun, and the food is fantastic. My Tuna Melt was one of the best, and my wife's chopped salad was great. When I spied pecan pie on the menu, it was pig-out time. That pie was delicious. Everything at the Hilltop is homemade. We sat at the bar, and everyone was friendly. Conversations flowed from us to other patrons to the servers. Wow, that's what a local bar and grill should be about. I loved the Hilltop and will return.

Wife loved the OJ. Even though it was slammed, it was clean. The good - service was polite, nice, got the order right. It was rushed. They could of used another wait staff. I tipped 20% because staffing levels is a management problem, not a wait staff failure. Inside is nice. Kind of 90's supper club. The fail? Boxed holindaise sauce mix. Come on. $20 for eggs Benedict and you can't take 30 seconds to make real holindaise? And it wasn't a great mix. $50 for breakfast for two (with tip), you get held to a higher standard. 4 stars, not 5

Unfortunately, our repeated experience has been that the male bartender is oddly hostile - he often comes across as either passive-aggressive or openly rude toward us, depending on the night. We are a fairly unremarkable middle-aged professional couple who stop in only occasionally, so we have no idea what might be behind it. We tip 20 percent. We don't stay long? When we've mentioned the interaction to other neighbors, several have said they've noticed a similar vibe as well. Every other member of the waitstaff and bar staff has been consistently warm, friendly, and welcoming. Lately, however, we've found ourselves wondering whether that bartender is working before deciding to stop in, because we'd rather avoid the extremely uncomfortable experience. It takes a lot for me to write a review when everything else is great, the food, the ambiance, most of the waitstaff, but this has happened so often I'm flummoxed.

The kitchen is completely gluten free and I don't know if I have had something that I haven't liked. Some of my favorites are: the masa chips (super smooth guacamole and an amazing bean dip), shrimp tacos, elote and the Tlayuda. You also HAVE TO ORDER the churros - sometimes just go there for drinks and churros. The drinks are fun and creative. I love horchata so had to get that & enjoyed it. - Corn bread w/ caviar - yum & great way to start - Seared scallops - so good - Charred eggplant tostada - loved this & a must-get - Shrimp tacos - I was worried that the tempura would just make it taste like fried but it didn't, it's really light. I liked these but could of used some saucy/ juicy component that feels more satisfying w/ tacos - Carne Asada - was not bad but just kind of tasted like meat I could get other places - Corn elote - it's what u expect but it was tasty & nice to have another veggie - Churro dessert - perfect way to end our meal. This is a must-get even if u are full! Overall the atmosphere is great. The server was very friendly and it never felt like we were waiting a long time for anything. The place feels but open & natural accents. It was def busy in here & it felet like we were close to some tables but it still felt comfortable to enjoy the meal while catching up w/ my sis. I will def be back to try other items!

And thankfully that bookshelf was there because we were waiting for awhile. When we first arrived we waited about 10 minutes before anyone who worked there even made an appearance, which seemed odd for a Friday at 10 am. May have been understaffed because the same person was seemingly the only person serving the full restaurant, which is so difficult. We waited patiently, understanding that that happens. However, unfortunately the food was only okay too. I ordered a broccoli and cheddar omelet and it was sadly not really an omelet at all. Full florets of steamed broccoli with a flat egg blanket wrapped around them... see photos to understand, this was a bummer and just not an omelet! It seems like the quiche is the way to go here, I had a bite of quiche that someone else ordered and that was very tasty and they have a rotating quiche menu or quiche of the day! Would definitely recommend going with the quiche for breakfast.
