My go-to for everything oil and vinegar. Not all stores are created equal. I have shopped and enjoyed some of the others in the area, but this the only place I can find my 25 years balsamic. It is the place that is friendly and helpful, and has great choices of other items. Also, unlike some other places, they do not charge you for a pourer..... The have changed names from a couple years ago, and I think they are better than ever. read more

Lovely store with attentive and helpful staff. We were greeted immediately after walking in the door. The gentleman explained the origins of the olive oil and we sampled many of the fruit based vinegars. The soy sauces are quite different than regular soy sauces in that they're thicker. The one laced with ghost pepper is awesome! Will be returning to buy more from this strip mall gem. :) read more

Don't go if you don't want to spend money!!!! One of my co-workers told me about this place a few days ago and I was in the area today, so I thought I'd stop by to browse and ended up buying three jars of the Italian Olive Salad, two bottles of the 25 year aged Balsamic vinegar, a bottle of the pear Balsamic vinegar, and a couple other little items. I was afraid to sample anything else for fear of buying it as well! It's a small shop and you can go in and sample all of their oils and Balsamics before purchasing - they're all in stainless steel tanks with spouts and little paper sampling cups sit next to the tanks. There must have been at least six Balsamics (besides the two I bought, I recall a blackberry and an apple), and about 20 olive oils (evoo, garlic, chili pepper, sun dried tomato, cinnamon, etc). When you want one of the oils/Balsamics, they actually bottle them up for you! The also had a really tasty BBQ sauce on the shelf, seasoning to mix with the oils for bread dipping, BIG jars of Olive Salad, more types of stuffed olives than you can imagine, beans, salts, and more!! The shop was very clean and had a welcoming environment. The people working there were incredibly friendly! I'm pretty sure one of the people who helped me was the owner. It's one of five franchises so far...and this company is bound to take off! Get in now so you can say you knew about it before it was the next big thing! read more

This is definitely one of my favorite places in the Twin Cities! When I walked through the door I was greeted by a friendly and very helpful owner, who guided me through the store and explained each oil and vinegar to me. She offered excellent suggestions on which items pair well together and helped me with picking out the items that were just right for me! This store allows you to taste everything before you buy it, which is awesome! Everything is delicious and excellent quality. This place is a must-visit! Excellent service, excellent products... Hands down my favorite store! The staff are attentive and educated on the fantastic products. I have several items I can't live without, from the flavorful truffle oil which is amazing drizzled on popcorn, or even drizzled on a roast beef sandwich, to the 25 year balsamic I use more than once a day. The new peppered bacon olive oil should be in every home,and I just tried their hummus for the first time which is the best I've had! The staff feel like my friends at this point and the informational sheets with tips and recipes will give you tons of ideas on how to transform your cooking! I'm truly thankful for their products and think everyone would find something they felt they could not live without visiting there! read more

A fantastic little store...welcome to flavortown. The availabilty to taste what peaks your curiosity makes this quite an experience granted the intriqueing variety of oils and vinegar. You will be greeted by staff that are more than pleased to cater to you and who do it with enthuism and knowledge. Loved tasting the pairings suggested. Your pallete will freak. If you are into preparing foods using oils and vinegars this is your store. They have a wonderful selection of flavored olive oils and balsamic vinegars. My 2 favorite oils are the peppered bacon olive oil and the garlic flavored olive oil. We have 11 different oils in our pantry and 8 balsamic vinegars. Besides the aged balsamic I really like the pomegranate and the peach. The peach balsamic is very tasty over vanilla ice cream. And best of all they have small cups and spoons so that you can taste anything before you purchase. They also have a variety of spices and sauces to make you a better cook. They also have recipes in the store and online using their products to make some very tasty dishes. Periodically they have cooking classes and tasting sessions. The owners and their staff are wonderful, knowledgeable people eager to help you find something that your tastebuds will love. read more

My wife and I ran into the store on a whim and are we glad we did. As a male with a discriminating taste, I was shocked at how good olive oil can taste. My goodness, we added the lemon oil in a bowl with the 25 yr balsamic vinegar and finished off about 3 tablespoons in 5 minutes with a bowl of carrots! All you wives of children and husbands who would love to find a way to change their eating habits, this is the place to start. We have already returned twice and love every one of the products we have purchased. read more
