Friendly and fast service. Delicious iced Americano. They even have pump vanilla syrup to add! Ham and Cheese croissant was tasty and fresh. They have a microwave to warm it to you liking. Enjoy!

Hurricane Coffee is always a highlight when visiting Sequim. We are crazy coffee people in my family and we all agree on this. The staff is friendly. There are some great little seating areas. This is not one of those sparse, modern, cold coffee shops. The little nooks and corners make cozy private spots to chat with a few of your friends. Cozy chairs, coffee tables, plants, you get the idea. The menu options are great without sending me into analysis paralysis. In summer I love the Happy Camper (a blackberry mocha, TRUST me) and in winter, the Orange Valencia White Mocha. I don't drink as many of the flavored drinks and mochas as I used to. I'm much more of a French press coffee person now, but it's worth the splurge when I am here. The food options are also nice because sometimes you need something with a little more substance. They have assorted sweet and savory pastries. Croissants, breakfast sandwiches, paninis, etc. The quality of these are excellent also.

What a lively local coffee shop in Sequim. Stopped here for a quick coffee fix before heading to the mountains. Loved the vibe of the place, filled with warm locals. We stayed back for 5 mins, picked a sticker and headed out. Bought their signature drinks- Hurricane Latte and Lavender latte- both tasted good. Place also serves ice cream, there were different flavors. They had few breakfast options too like oats and sandwiches. Definitely a must stop place if you are in Sequim and want to grab a bite and coffee. The barista gave us a discount as we bought our own flasks, so cool.

While visiting Sequim, Hurricane Coffee is a go-to coffee stop right on the Main Street. I like to visit only local shops when traveling. Hurricane Coffee seems to be get steady foot traffic, which I took as a sign to try it. I wasn't disappointed with my choice. Hurricane Coffee actually has coffee, pastries, and ice cream! This is a wide variety for all seasons. I ordered a seasonal flavor, raspberry mocha latte. This tasted just like a raspberry covered in dark chocolate. I was impressed with the flavor balance between espresso and flavor because it was not too sweet. I took a star off for two reasons. First, the selection pastry was not great. The lady in front of me was quite upset about the limited selection of croissants. I found interesting because less than 50 feet away is an amazing bakery, Pane d'Amore. The second reason is that there was very little seating inside. Almost every table, there was someone camped out with a book/laptop. I am not sure if this was because I went on a holiday weekend or if this a regular study/work spot.

On our Sequim Coffee and Cafe tour Hurricane Coffee Co was our absolute FAVORITE CAFE! It was so good we had to come one last time before we went to downtown Seattle. When you walk in, it's such a friendly and calm atmosphere, super clean, they have a donation tree. Anytime you donate you can write a little something on the card for who they're donating for. This was extremely heart warming especially because it's not something I often find especially at a cafe. During our visits we had the Honey Lavender Latte, Vanilla Brown Sugar Matcha, and the Happy Camper which was a raspberry mocha latte. All of these were sooooo good and we loved trying new lattes that we can't find at home. Their pastries are also soooooo good! The chocolate croissant took the cake though because it was addictingggg. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The matcha latte was good & service was amazing! The coffee shop itself felt cozy, even though I didn't get the chance to sit there! Recommend this place to hang out & chill.

Their lavender ice cream was delicious would highly recommend. Likes the lavender latte too but was a bit too sweet for my taste would recommend at 50% sugar. Service was quick and friendly.

In comparison to Starbucks it's pretty darn good coffee! The barista was pleasant and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Ordering is usually done via QR code, but they are also happy to orders at the register. One thing to note: on our visit, the restaurant left the front door open and didn't turn on heating so we found it rather cold inside. Clam Chowder in Sourdough Bread Bowl ($14) - Salty Girls has one of the best preparations for chowder bread bowls I've encountered. They expertly hollow out the center as much as absolutely possible, leaving maybe only half an inch of bread on the sides (I think they use the trimmings to make their homemade croutons). This allows them to ladle in the maximal amount of clam chowder, much more than most I've had in the past. While I believe the bread is some commercial one, it has a distinct, but light, sourdough taste and doesn't have the overwhelming taste of stabilizers and preservatives that some bread bowls run into. It's toasted very nicely, giving a fantastic crust, while the interior bread remains light rather than dense, yet holds up to the chowder well. The chowder itself is pretty good. It's thickened, but still just runny enough to not feel like it's been over reduced. Not clumpy or super heavy as some other chowders. There's a strong herbal quality in the mix, combined with large pieces of clam and bacon. The amount of clam isn't very generous, but there's enough of the chewy mollusk to get at least a piece per spoonful. Lots of tender diced potato chunks complete the chowder. There's by far the most potato in terms of ingredients in this dish, making it very carb heavy. The chowder is served steaming hot and remains quite hot for a long while even in the cold air of the restaurant. (4/5) Crab Melt ($18) - Interesting open faced sandwich, with the crusty heel portion of a ciabatta roll, toasted until crispy on the flats, but still softer on the interior, albeit thin. It's topped with an ice cream scoop of crab salad. The salad is essentially tuna salad with the crab substituted for tuna. This means there's a ton of crab and not much filler - plenty of sweet shreds of crab meat, mixed with a couple of crunchy pieces of celery in a creamy sauce. The crab salad is then topped with cheese, then the entire creation is broiled until the cheese on top becomes bubbly and the cheese that flows down the sides of the bread becomes essentially a crunchy cheese skirt. Something to note, not necessarily a negative, is that the center of the crab salad scoops remains cold, which is in stark contrast to the warmed exterior. The dish comes with a side of ridged kettle chips. Robustly crunchy, simply salted. Surprisingly good to dip into the clam chowder in fact. (4/5) Salty Girls definitely serves some good seafood dishes. I certainly wouldn't mind returning the next time I'm in Seqium. It was really crowded, but I was glad we got a table without a wait. The waitresses all seemed very polite and happy. I was going to try their famous Apple Pancake, but then saw the Raspberry Lemon Bar French Toast breakfast special. The flavor was terrific, and the texture of the French toast was the best I've ever experienced. My mom liked the look of my raspberry syrup so much, that she asked the waitress to take away her maple, and bring raspberry for her pancakes. I also tried their very popular bacon. It had great flavor, but was very dry. Next time, I'd ask for it limp. I guess the crispy bacon is really popular, but wasn't really my thing. The flavor it was so amazing, though, that I can't wait to try it again, just less cooked. The Hawaiian Sunrise mocktail tasted so much like cherry, that I couldn't taste the pineapple that much, but the hot chocolate was seriously the best hot chocolate I've ever had. It was so creamy and sweet, and just the right strength of chocolate flavor.
