We arrived 6 minutes before closing and they were very sweet about staying open to answer questions, give samples, and encourage our kids to pet the calves. As soon as I saw that they served Lopez Island Ice cream, we had to see if we could get there before closing. I remember getting that ice cream from the Evergreen State Dairy when I was a kid, and wanted them to experience it too. Best ice cream ever! I'm gluten and Dairy free, so sadly, there wasn't anything I could eat. That was fine, though. I wasn't expecting a dairy to serve non-dairy items. My kids were impressed, and loved petting the cats and calves.

Beautiful dairy farm that is run on renewable energy. Great milk and delicious ice cream. Well worth the drive.

Love the ice cream and cows. Gifts and other goodies in the store are fun. Prices are not terrible for occasional visits.

Fun creamery with great raw milk products. Have calves out right now which the kids loved to look at. Definitely recommend!

Great ice cream on a dairy farm! Definitely worth the trip. They also sell fresh milk and cheese and you can see the cows.

Located in the Port Angeles Wharf, this ice cream shop specializes in New Zealand-style ice cream…read more It's a cross between a smoothie and ice cream in a soft-serve form. Basically, hardpacked traditional ice cream and frozen fruit are mixed in a specialized mixing auger-like cone and pushed through so everything is smooth and creamy, with no icy bits. Usually fruit ice cream has cooked down fruit swirled in as a jam to avoid ice crystals, but the cooking process changes the taste and consistency of the fruit. This is a way to enjoy the taste of the fruit with minimal adulterations and with a smooth consistency. Each order is made on the spot, so it may take longer. Be sure to check out the restaurants also in the building, or if you're not interested in food, there's also an art gallery and arcade. You can also just enjoy the views of the Strait, or of the mountains depending on your vantage point. It's absolutely great for photos on a nice day. The ferries pass by here too, so you can observe their coming and goings if that's of interest to you.

I'm not an ice cream person and not into desserts, but I can't stop thinking about it! Tried mixed fruit and strawberry on consecutive nights and was blown away by the quality and taste of their New Zealand style ice cream. I liked that it's not sweet like other American ice cream. A little inconsistent in size, as my second visit yielded a much smaller portion but I would've gone back the next night if I stayed longer in Port Angeles!

So we were driving towards Deception Pass and saw this HUGE warehouse with the word CREAMERY on it…read more My wife immediately started googling. Bookmarked for our return trip. We actually made it on our way back and so glad we did. They have a lot of unique flavors. We just got a couple double scoops so we could try more flavors! Once Baked Cookie Dough (5): My wife loves the traditional cookie dough so this piqued our interest. If you've ever had a pizookie, its sort of like that. Sort of underbaked and soft. It was delicious! Coffee Toffee Crunch (5): Can't go wrong with a coffee/toffee combo. Their slow churned process makes this really creamy and delicious! Wild Blackberry (4): Curiosity got to us on this one since wild blackberries seem to be everywhere up here. I've had some really good ones and some really questionable ones. This was good. What I'd expect. What this proved to me was their sweet cream base is amazing and can be paired with anything really. Lemon Raspberry (5): Wasn't expecting much but this one blew me away. This was my favorite of the group! Sweet and tart and fruity all at the same time with no flavor overpowering another. Very good. Cold Brew Float (4): This is really just a cup of the ice cream of your choice. Then you grab a can of their cold brew and pour it on top. I went with their mint chip. It was good. The cold brew was good. This is something I feel like I'd do at home too. (and I think I will cause we're taking some pints home!) Overall, a great stop on your way to wherever. They have pints to take home as well. Luckily we had a cooler in the car so we took home our favorite flavors. We'll be making this a stop whenever we're in the area now.

Lots of flavours to choose from here, with a good mix of unique options and more familiar classics…read more The ice cream definitely felt premium, with a rich, high-cream-content texture that made it feel a step above your typical ice cream shop. We tried the blackberry pint, which was nice and not overly sweet, although I felt like the blackberry flavour itself could have come through a bit more. The pints are also a great deal, and I would have picked some up to take home if they had dry ice available. Too bad they don't, since that would make it much easier to bring some back with you. Overall, a really nice afternoon treat, especially if you can enjoy it out on the patio. Would definitely come back again if I'm in the area.
